Miles is the victim of so many bad touches in fandom. I've never seen a more abused male character (the prize for most abused character goes to Sailor Mercury. Seriously.)

ANYWAY, I went back and fixed the images so that they look all sharp and pretty. I also drew another Iris because she's fun to draw in paint (I can kind of bullshit the braids a little... I don't like drawing braids, lol).

Thanks! They only reason why the pics look decent is because I was using a really good tablet. I also like to keep things nice and simple in paint, and I'm not afraid to keep the drawings kinda scratchy. They're only sketches, after all.

I guess I love drawing Maya because the games made a point to emphasize how homely she is in comparison to the other female characters (if you present the female profiles to Dr. Hotti, he'll have a perverted comment for all of them, EXCEPT for Maya. He just kinda goes "meh" at it). I normally don't like to draw her as a generic anime chick (though I have done it in the past) because I think her features are interesting. She has a square jaw, big ears, bright eyes, and a great smile. She's short and she has a small bust, but she doesn't look too skinny. I always try to make her look sexy while preserving the integrity of her character design, which always makes for an interesting drawing experience because I like to play around with different art styles. I think I might have a slight crush on this character.
Tegaki is very difficult for me, but I found paint to be a lot easier. I like the way the pencil tool feels when I use it, and the fill tool is very convenient. Anyway, I can't wait to see your take on the AAI meme. School's more important, though, so take your time.

I found a cool trick for drawing the braids: just draw the outer shape, then fill in the lines. Like, you first draw the < shapes, and then you go in and fill in the ) shapes. This made a lot more sense in my head.
