A nightmare on Elm Street 2010: 8/10 Of course, it's not nearly as good as the original (I rate the original 11/10!) but I really enjoyed it!

Princess and the Frog: 10/10!!! I can't get enough of this movie! I just keep watching it again and again and again!!! And Dr. Facilier is definately one of the smexiest Disney's villain, along with Hades and Gaston!

Alice in Wonderland 2010: 10/10 Like all Tim Burton's movie, this movie is awesome! Chess (Chesschire cat) is just too cute and Ilosovic Stayne (the Knave of heart) is damn sexy!! ^^

Disney's Hercules: 9/10 I've always liked this movie... And Hades is so smexy! The only reason why I gave it a 9 instead of a 10 it's because they didn't include Persephone... They should make a sequel with Persephone!

Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging- 7.5/10. It's a cute movie, but I prefer the books 1,000 times over. I didn't really care for the girl who played Georgia, the plot was changed to a more cliche chick flick, and I didn't find it as funny as the books. It's one of those movies where I only want to see it once and that's it, but apparently, my mom *loves* this movie, so she keeps playing it over and over again, much to my joy.

Spirited Away- 20/10. This movie is just plain amazing. The animation is so vibrant and such a treat to watch. I watched the entire movie in English for the first time, and I was much more impressed with it than when I would watch it in Japanese. Mostly it's because the subtitles are kind of distracting, and it doesn't help that I'm not a very fast reader, so I tend to miss a lot of what they're saying. The English voices were nicely chosen, except I didn't care for Haku too much.

The Reader- 9.5/10. I watched this in my German class not too long ago. It's a really good movie. Quite a lot of sex scenes, which was a bit awkward to watch with the class, but it wasn't to the point where it was totally trashy. The story was really interesting, especially when you find out about Hannah Schmitz's (I think that's her name) past.

Meet the fockers Because it was on and when england scored 3 minutes in i was sure we'd win

8/10
I can see why this film is loved. It has it's funny moments, but the whole thing seems a bit unrealistic, even though thats probably the point. I mean, who calls their kid, 'Gaylord Focker'? I think the dog humping things was a cheap way to get laughs, so minus one point for that. However, most of it was funny.

This movie was just fantastic. Chihiro`s english voice was more enthusiastic than the Jap one and I agree, haku is a bit overrated. This movie had lovely animation and an original storyline. I have no idea why I hated it when I was a kid :yuusaku:

Karate Kid (Remade one) 8 /10. At first I thought the original would be better, assuming how original ones are usually better. I'd say Karate Kid fans should watch this, although it was more like "Kung Fu Kid". Seeing Jackie Chan in it was awesome, and it's more of a modern version of Karate Kid.

Megaman
8.4/10
Yeah, I know I talked about this already, but I wanted to give it a rating and a fuller review with referances and stuff.
This is a fan movie created, written, produced and directed by Eddie LeBron, starring Jun Naito as Rock (I think.) Who are these people? I have no clue! The movie is based on Megaman 1, with references to Megaman 2 and 3. Most of the actors do a fantastic job, especially David Maulbeck, who captures the insane megalomania of Dr Wily brilliantly, and Edward X. Young, who portrays Dr Light as a calm man who keeps all emotions inside. Jun Naito and Jeane Tse's performances as Rock and Roll are unfortunately average, although to be honest, I expected much less. The robot masters were 50/50, as half (Bombman, Cutman and Gutsman) were done in painfully obvious CG and voiceovers. It doesn't look or sound good at all. The other three (Elecman, Iceman and Fireman) are all really good who really capture the intended personalities of each of them- Elecman's superiority, Fireman's teenage demeanour and Iceman's multiple personality disorder. At least I think they were the intended personalities. Sung-Mo Cho plays a good Proto, and is portrayed as he should be, a chaotic good fighter who helps Rock in a backhanded fashion. The plot is very good and addresses more of the smaller details- why Dr Wily wants to take over and why Rock and Roll exist in the first place. The fight scenes aren't very well choreographed and the reactions are rather silly, with the exception of Rock's fight against Elecman, but this can be expected from a low budget film such as this. Apart from three tracks (Protoman's whistle, the fight against Dr Wily and the end credits, which are both remixes of Dr Wily Stage 1/2 from Megaman 2,) the soundtrack is an original (I assume) composition, which sounds very good and captures the mood well. One of the main problems is the amount of time it takes to get into the story. The first half of the movie is pretty much just filler with occasional bits of story, and the second half seems needlessly rushed. The climax has a nice big explosion, so I find it pretty satisfying.
Most of the flaws I've mentioned are pretty minor, so it's still a good, enjoyable movie of Megaman 1, hence 8.4/10.

Toy Story (1) 9.8/10
I abosolutely adore Pixar. To me, bad movies are very difficult to make for Pixar. They couldn't if they tried. I love Toy Story. It still has one of my favourite movie quotes ever:
"This isn't flying! This is falling! With style!"
The timing is priceless.

The last movie I actually watched was Funny Games (2007 version), which I absolutely love. I've seen it several times before though.
The most recent movie I watched for the first time was Hard Candy!
10/10 definitely. I had never seen Patrick Wilson in anything but the Phantom of the Opera, and I was very proud of him. His acting is 100% pure talent. Geoff was a TOUGH ROLE. TOUGH. ALL KINDS OF TOUGH. Look at what he had to go through.
And Ellen Page ... well, she's Ellen Page, what more needs to be said.
Beautifully shot, cleverly written, and very affecting. Especially the end, and the castration bit. Wow.
Kay, you might want to tone the ruffling down a bit.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

I'd give this film a 7 out of 10. Sure, it was interesting to watch... they had part's cut out that were suppose to happen in the book, and my god they even decided to put part's in for the heck of it?! Any why wasn't the part where they were suppose to show Fleur again and show that her and Bill were suppose to be engaged?

Fucking Eclipse. I hate my mother for dragging me there. The fight scenes were alright, so that soothed the pain a bit, but still. Horrible plotline/characters are horrible.

It gets a generous 3/10. Surprisingly, I've seen worse. *coughtheothertwilightmovies, thehappening, afewothersthatI'veforgottenthenamesof, etc.cough*

Never seen the classic TV series, but apparently it's bad. The movie is pretty cool though, and Liam Neeson is always awesome.

Toy Story 3

This movie builds on the foundations of the first two movies and makes it even better. What seems to be a good, innocent kids movie to some is actually a quite adult film dealing with quite some heavy themes that would make most second guess the G rating, but there is an equal amount of laughs in it as well to mix it up. In the end you have a film that will make people who have seen the first two movies end up leaving satisfied and also crying. But if you still have any doubts I have one word for you, TOTORO DOLL :edgy: .

This film gets a 37/36

Day & Night (Short)

Oh and I also forgot about the short shown at the start of Toy Story 3. This is a neat little short about Night & Day meeting each other and the awesomeness that ensues. The short is quite the technical masterpiece and is sure to please with its mix of 2D and 3D animation. It probably rates third on my favorite Pixar shorts with at top being Geri's game.

This (short)film get a 8.555555/10

Fucking Eclipse. I hate my mother for dragging me there. The fight scenes were alright, so that soothed the pain a bit, but still. Horrible plotline/characters are horrible.

It gets a generous 3/10. Surprisingly, I've seen worse. *coughtheothertwilightmovies, thehappening, afewothersthatI'veforgottenthenamesof, etc.cough*

I'm afraid I need to come too.

I give the whole 'phenomenon' (I use that word lightly) a 0.0000000000000000001 out of 1,000,000. The point one is for messing with the fans.

You can't be serious with ratings like that. =_= I hate bandwagon haters. So many people hate on Twilight because everyone else does. It's ridiculous. I read the series before it was popular enough to have haters and ended up disliking it on my own, so at least that's justified. Go hate on something you've actually READ and had no one influence your opinion on.

Watched Avatar The Last Airbender today.

Comparing it to the show: 5/10
Ignoring the show: 7/10

I am, sort of. I admit I have no problem with the books and movies on their own. (I don't enjoy them, but they're far from the worst thing I've ever seen.) The problem with me is the fan-base more than anything. (Which is why I said 'phenomenon', not the actual movie.) I guess I don't have the mentality these people seem to have with fiction...

Karate Kid (The newest one): 9/10 Never been a fan of the Karate kid serie, but I'm a Jacky Chan fan, so I watched it... It was awesome, though the end was a bit too cliché... But still an awesome movie... though it was more Kung Fu than Karate...

No kidding. The teenagers and gay middle-aged men walking around with body glitter, fake fangs, and gold contacts scare the hell out of me. And it just makes me look bad because my teeth came in in a way that it looks like I have fangs. My father always teases me and says I look like one of those rabid, obsessed fans. It's annoying.
