Good for your first sprites! Just some things to make them better.
1. Always save EVERY picture/sprite as a PNG. And make them transparent with the magic wand tool.
2. On the Objection! sprite, the head is WAY to small for the body.
3. There are some odd colored pixels around the tie of the OC.
Fix those 3 things and you're set!

I wouldn't say that the head is too small, more like that it's put on badly.
Here is a really quicjk example of what I mean:

Try using a head that would mach the one in Godots pose.
In this case, Apollos document pose.
Bit editing and tadaa, you should end up with something like this:

1- never use Pure black
2-never save as .jpg or others , just in .png; and for animated pourpuses : .gif
3-Make a Line Guide to keep the sprites in the right pleace,

My reccomendations, well , the hair looks kinda weird , you should use another one,
but its optional, never use PuRE black again , thats all .
