I hunted down any similar thread and found none. True, while this means little, I am curious. How has Phoenix affected you?

He made me realize that whenever something seems hopeless, you can turn it around and make even the worse situation turn out okay. (Cheap, I know)

He also taught me to always object and bluff out of any situation.
There are five things that are awesome in this world: Paramore, dancing, fan fiction, YMAS, and Klavier Gavin.

He hasn't affected my life, he's destroyed it. This is now my most-visited site since switching to Chrome (3 weeks ago). How tragic is that?

AA has affected my life.... a lot....
Well, firstly,it was the first internet fanbase I was a part of and being on this site helped me to get by each day (2008 wasn't a very happy time in my life)
Secondly, it was the first game that I cared about enough to make a video review for. (The review was terrible, and has since been deleted, but AA was basically one of the main reasons I started making YouTube videos)
Thirdly, it was the first series that I played through more than twice... making it a series that I quote fairly often, but nobody around me gets it...
Fourthly... and this is the big one... without AA, and this site, I would have never met my beautiful girlfriend Alice, who I care about more than anything else in the world :bellboy:

It did affect me in the way that I started to play the Ace Attorney games in a period in which I didn't feel that well, I had problems with my boyfriend, and sometimes I felt depressed. Playing the Ace Attorney games did help me feel better, and I have never stopped playing them ever since.

And they are my favorite games ever. I doubt there will ever be a game that I will like better than AA.

Well, I learned a lot of things about law and lots of terminology, but those aren't life changing.

Ace Attorney is one of my favorite series of all time, and this forum is one of the couple I go to nowadays. I guess I also became more mature because of the series. It is a serious, but silly game.

And...

Well, I've... lost a lot of free time. This series has eaten my life. Not that I mind... I have too much time on my hands anyway.
By reading this, you have just wasted a few precious seconds of your life that you can never get back.

Lessee... I wouldn't have gotten my friend addicted to it, I wouldn't have spent around eighty dollars for the four games I have (missing Trials and Tribulations), I wouln't be collecting parts for a Godot cosplay..

It has also made me more sensitive to what people say (mainly so I can find contradictions).

Right now, 85% of my life revolves around Phoenix wright. the other 15% is my novel and what little life I have left.

xD Even my LAPTOP is Phoenix-Wright related. xD My background is Klavier (as is my cellphone) my theme is purple, and my computer makes Phoenix Wright sounds when I do thigns (like shut it down, pull out my flash drive, etc)

I'm obsesed and proud of it. If I wasn't going to go into web design, I would become a lawyer because of this game.

When my friend said he wanted to be a lawyer, I lol'd because I thought of Phoenix Wright. in fact, everythign in my life relates somehow to that game xD

Including that STEPLADDER in my garage.

It's effected me definitely. I have almost all the OSTs on my iPod, I have the Japanese AND English artbooks, AA related wallpapers on my phone and computer, written fanfics/fanart about it, bought all the games almost at once... I've become really engrossed in it, it's just a really fascinating series with a type of premise I'd never seen before (Playing as a lawyer?! Wow.)

The last time a game series did this to me was Crash Bandicoot back when I was in elementary school and middle school.

Ace Attorney is now my life. `tis kinda sad, no? I'm constantly thinking about it. On the plus side, that means I'm rarely bored. Have nothing to do? No matter! Play AA, write fanfiction, draw fanart, go on C-R, listen to OST's... It's endless. I barely remember life before Ace Attorney.

Wut I've learned?

...hhhhhhh...Well...At least that the interactual novels can be fun and exciting.
Also...A DS game box can have a pale look (AA EU cover) but the game will be good.

Meh...Wut else, wut else...
Well I tend to hit the desks more often and I tend to yell even louder these days.

Other than those?

Well, the first thing is that it provided me with an brilliant alternative to the games with the blue hedgehog. xD

Secondly, since I became involved in the online community, I've made some great friends, whom I'd never know existed if I hadn't!

Thirdly, it convinced me to make my own fangame based on it, and I've since become involved in many others too, which is quite time-consuming, but in a good way. :D

And fourthly, I like to think that Ace Attorney has given me a basic understanding of law. ;)

It gives me something to do everytime I'm bored and it always stays exciting, despite me finishing the series five times. It also made me find out about Court Records, (now the only site I visit regularily) the perfect and fun way to waste time.

Also it gave me the idea of becoming a lawyer, I hear peeps ranting about that already. However, after doing an internship in a law office I am sure that I wanna become one. It gave me the idea, but my interest and the real wish were affected by other factors.

- It sort of helped me get back into anime and manga.
- It taught me about ballistic markings! 8D
- I found out about Trauma Center and Hotel Dusk through it (well this forum really but still).
- I correct people when they call a stepladder a ladder.

Umm... well i think i may have pissseed off almost my entire middle school when i first got into it xD. For tech we attempted to make magatamas, and quickly got told that we were useless.
In citizenship i looked like a nerd because id decided to look nto all that law stuff. After finding klavier - gay or european, on youtube, some mates and i wanted to do it for our leavers show. And got told that we couldn't and were rather offensive.
And i think the 'objection!' noise peeved off everyone xD So yh, all in good ways xD
And i think this is the longest i have ever stayed at a forum :)aa and hotel dusk are the only games i haven't got bored of. Apart from pacman of course xD

How has it affected my life? Too much, I'd say... I don't draw anything but fanart now (especially happy family scenes with Kristoph and Klavier, Jake and Neil, Mia and Maya, Lana and Ema,.....yeah, I really don't know why), I make up some fanfiction, I read fanfiction, I quote Ace Attorney (and write them down in a little note book), I've played all the games at least three times, I bore my friends and family by explaining how the case I'm working on works, I mention AA characters without mentioning that there in a game and not real life, I (well, actualy, that would have been my dad) spend more then £80 on amazon ( I don't even want to think about how much that is in euros), this forum is the first thing I check when I turn on my computer, I'm obsessed with Edgeworth and Kristoph................. (it's kind of sad, to know that a game dominates your life...)
Also, when ever I'm feeling down, I become happy again when I think of AA, or play it, or read some fanfic (it really helps)

And last, but not least..... After I've got High school over and done with, I want to go to law school.

Lemme check...

Well, I now have a new view on defense attorneys, contrary to popular belief that they only defend people for the money (which is, sadly, what's happening in the real world most of the time).

I also have a Trucy cosplay that I used for my tenth birthday, and I now have a new best friend in high school and got to know the niece of our current president because of the AA connection.

Oh, and I have an AA background and hum so many themes. =D
I've been away for far too long.
So long, in fact, that all of my signatures now exist behind a paywall.
Bummer.

What the shit. One question: How old is she?
One Question: Is she hot?
Well, AA has led me to CR, and all the awesome people here! And DoMaya. Who, by the way, has hardened my soul. I saw a squirrel explode after being hit by an 18-wheeler and said "Not as bad as some of the stuff DoMaya posts."
Naw, just kidding. You're awesome.
But I'm serious about the squirrel thing.

I love AA so, how it is affected me:

-It taught me to think critically and become more logical
-Ema made me love science (She's my favorite character. period.)
-I love defense attorneys who are like Phoenix and fight for 'not guilty' client. I used to not care about court.
-I only want to cosplay AA. (Ema, Pearl, Alita, Trucy.)
-I'm pretty much obsessed.
