The EBA screw up one of their missions and get charged with something involving their mission. Phoenix defends them, but finds the case to hot. THen the "HEEEEEEAAAAALP!" and the agents quickly burst to action... I'm a retard.

Phoenix Wright and Death Note
The timeline is moved a bit with Phoenix and Edgeworth being 24 in the start year of DN, which is 2003 or something.
L thinks he has enough evidence to put Light on trial for being Kira. Phoenix is appointed Light's DA. It'll take place in the DN chapters where Light and L are handcuffed together (so Light lost his memories). That way, if Phoenix asks him if he is Kira, no psyche locks would appear because Light believes he is not. Also, there is enough evidence for Light to get convicted. The case begins with Edgeworth as the prosecutor on day one. However, Teru Mikami, who happens to work under Edgeworth, asks him about the case. Once he discovers that "god" might get convicted, even if he is not sure that Light is really Kira, he gets rid of Edgey anyway and takes over the case for the rest of the time. He hides the important evidence and Light gets away Not Guilty. L and some of the other taskforce members testify while Misa fills in as Phoenix's aide. (Oh boy....)
Reading 2 volumes of DN made me think too much.

No, seriously, the cast of PW go to the secluded and peaceful hometown/village of Mineral Town/Flowerbud/Forget-Me-Not/Sunshine Islands/ Harmonica Town/ whatever place the HM franchise has to offer. Their they undergo a quest to save the Harvest Goddess all the while learning how to farm and interacting with the townsfolk.
I did one fic about this where Edgeworth and Mary from Mineral Town actually meet.
