I like the RP's to be shaped by the members and suggestions are welcome for the plot - like a suggestion for yet another epidemic or accident.
RULES:
- No fighting
- No killing off someone's character without their permission (or worsening their illness if they're a patient).
- No godmodding (thanks Meenyman!)
- Be realistic in true Trauma style!
- Have fun!

That being said, did you plan on starting out with a basic plot that we'll expand on or we just kinda go with the flow?
Also I'm not sure if my eyes decieve me but Kathy's picture seems to give her elf ears...

Appearance: Dark-skinned, always wears his surgical coat even when wearing informal clothes. When at work, he weares a sky blue shirt with a solitary button undone at the top. Also wears very dark navy jeans and plain, black trainers. His hair is spiked up at the front - it looks like it's gelled, but James just wakes up like that...
Personality: Warm, hard-working, efficient and confident, even in the faces of the most persistent problems, James never backs down from a challenge and treats his co-workers with the utmost respect.
Bio: James was born in the north of England in the 1990s and always wanted to help people. When he scored a job as a GP at his local NHS, he decided he wanted to do better. To help more people. He moved to the US a few years later and joined [name of surgery] as a surgeon. The best way to help people. It could have been so much worse. He nearly became a lawyer.

Type (patient, doctor, nurse): Doctor
Appearance: Tall and lean, not quite muscular. He wears Led Zeppelin T-shirts and jeans under his coat, which he buttons up in front of superiors and unbuttons around everyone else. He has fine, blonde hair in a similar style to Derek... Stiles. He has a large scar running down his face, from just under his hairline between his eyes and to the middle of his cheek.
Personality: Felix is very relaxed, and basically the opposite of your usual doctor's behavior. As a younger man, he was very excitable and energetic, but as he has grown, he has become increasingly laid-back. His bedside manner is usually great, and despite his attitude actually takes his job very seriously. Despite this, he is always listening to music, usually rock and roll.
Bio: Felix was born in Florida and jumped around the country with his band. After they split ways, he and his brother Antonio looked for places to stay. Felix finally stayed in Resurgam's town while Antonio went his own way. Felix finished his med school and stayed at Resurgam hospital. He now works as a general surgeon.

Kathy Skye looked out of the window at the pouring rain, feeling indifferent like always. Life was wonderful... yeah, right. Days blended into one another, just spent reading and being given meds to stall the inevitable. Of course, she couldn't inflict her burden on anyone. That would be unfair. No, she must simply stick it out and just wait her turn for a one way ticket to the afterlife... or whatever happened... after. No, she still couldn't bring herself to say the word.
Kathy pondered what she might have done, had fate given her a different hand. What would she have done? This was Kathy's favourite thing to ponder.
But she shook her head. Fantasizing about things that clearly wouldn't happen was not appropriate. Sighing, she picked up her book and began to read.

Rising from the table, groggy but still somehow upbeat, he sauntered down the hall, clipboard in hand. He had to see Kathy Skye to give her some medicine. He looked at the small plastic cup and was pensive. As amazing as modern medicine had become, her illness was still untreatable as of now. Felix thought about the doctors they had working on her case, and still there were no big breakthroughs. He remained hopeful, however. Kathy was starting to grow on him, kind of like a daughter.
Felix stepped into the room, smiling, as always. "Morning, Kathy. How we holdin' up?" He greeted, placing the pills on the table by her bed. "What book is that now? Man, you're burnin' through those now," he continued feebly. Terminal patients aren't very interested in small talk.

A man wearing a white coat, holding a chart, came out of an office with a label which said "Dr. Cody Wilson" printed on the door. He headed into a patient's room, seeing a small girl lying on a bed, coughing.
"Let's see here, symptoms include heavy coughing, loss of breath. A tumor, huh?" thought Dr.Wilson, as he walked toward the patient flipping through the pages of his clipboard.
"You have nothing to worry about, I'll get you all fixed up. I'm Dr.Cody Wilson, and I'll be your doctor, sounds good?" he greeted.

"Doctor," The computer responded, "Don't you think that we should have concentrated on that symptom? The low blood sugar may cause a problem."
"No, no. Her parents said she's been trying some fancy diet to lost weight... Put an extra memo to tell her parents to do a bit more to help her diet with some healthier foods."
"Yes doctor." Gabe spun in his chair for a few minutes.
"RONI, do I have any upcoming appointments?"
"No, doctor."
"Then I'm going to go for a walk. Give me a call when my next appointment is here."
"Is there anything you would like me to do doctor?"
"...Do some multiplayer Starcraft 2 for me. I wanna do some ranking up." He said as he left the room.

A patient walked out of Dr. Sharp's office happy and content.
"Finally broke that record. Speaking of records to be broken.." James abruptly ended his sentence to himself; He pulled out a large green box and a silver Xbox 360 S, reaching into the box and pulling out a disk. James turned on the Xbox, placing the disk inside and playing Halo: Reach.
"Yes. Yes! YES!!! Killionaire! YES!"

As for the pain, well, I'm used to it. And I'm only 'burnin' through the books since there isn't much else I can do to pass the time, and my iPod's on charge."

Maia Missen looked through golden eyes at the man in the flappy coat once she'd stopped coughing. There were lots of people wearing those sorts of coats round here, she'd noticed. Not that she was really aware of what wasx happening, her tummy hurt too much these days for her to be concentrating fully. But the people round here - the man included - seemed nice enough to Maia.
"'Kay," she agreed, clutching her stomach tighter. "Will it hurt?"

"Will it hurt? My job is to make sure that doesn't happen, all right? You'll be feeling good as new, I promise," answered Dr.Wilson.
He took out a container labeled "For Coughing", and handed one of the pills contained inside of it to Maia, as well as a glass of water.
"This will help stop the coughing, so make sure you take this pill too, and use the water to properly swallow it, you don't want to bite it."

Name: Audrey Juiliana
Age: (Hmm? In Trauma Team? How old is Derek? [hasn't played trauma team yet, via lack of wii] She's born in 1992... Isn't Derek like 33 or something like that then? IDK.)
Type (patient, doctor, nurse): Doctor - Psychiatrist
Appearance: wears dress slacks or a blue skirt with a tan blouse. She also wears a lab coat. Her hair reminds me of.... that one counselor from UtK 2 (the beginning). Her hair's like that, but it's spiked in the back more, and is a darker shade of brown. She has a set of dog tags hanging around her neck that she's extremely possessive of, and wears glasses with black frames. (I'll have a pic eventually)
Personality:Very kind and laid-back, except when she's angry. She can curse in four different languages (not including English)
Bio: Audrey was born to a Latino mother and a Japanese-American father. She has a twin brother, Matthew (who has a completely different hair color and eye color than his sister). Audrey's mother then filed for a divorce, taking Matthew with her. Audrey hated seeing her father torn up about the divorce, even in the years after, that she decided to become a psychiatrist in order to help him and others.
She went to med school and learned that she had a talent in calming people's fears and insecurities. She simply assumed that it was a talent and nothing more. However, as she graduated med school, they decided to assign her to Caduceus (in which Audrey immediately fainted). Once she reached Caduceus, she learned that her power might be the Healing Touch. At first, she denied this, but once she started working with clients and patients (fun fact: they're not the same. Yay for learning something in college), she discovered that her talent was different from normal, and accepted the Healing Touch. she imagines a magenta flower for concentration. She has a crush on Victor, and hangs out with him almost daily (because, unlike Tyler, she knows what gets on Victor's nerves. >.>)
Audrey often travels back and forth between Caduceus and Resurgam to work with patients in both hospitals. She enjoys working with children, and often does silly magic tricks to keep them entertained.
(bah, this was difficult re-writing her profile to fit Trauma Team. cannot wait until I get a freaking Wii. >.>)

A name caught his eye as he walked by. Kathryn Skye. The girl was a thirteen year old, and already she needed an organ transplant. Surgery is a hard thing for a kid that young. Not to mention the girl was an orphan. No parents to be there waiting for her when she came out of the OR. I can't believe I let that happen to Joshua... The girl was a said case. Gabe stared at the door, stared at the chart, stared at the door again. He took the final whiff of his cigarette before putting it out and throwing it in a nearby trashcan.

The door to Kathy's room slid open as Gabe walked in, reaching into his pocket to find his pack. A kind smirk crossed his face, "Hey. How ya doin' princess?"

"There was this one guy in here earlier that was a total hypocondriac. He's been in and out of here for the last few days. Today he was talking about this mole on his shoulder that he assumes is a sign of skin cancer. Luckily his annoyingness was balanced out by a girl with anemia and an ear infection."

"Dr. Sharp." The teen interrupted. "I heard." He began coughing lightly.
James smiled calmly. "Well then, what seems to be the problem." He inquired to the moody youth. Jacob almost laughed.
"Did you actually just say that? How cliche." James began to speak but was interrupted again. "Look, the only reason I'm here is my mom says there's summin' up with me. So just say I'm fine and I can leave." He began to get up and James noticed that his eyes were bloodshot.
"Wait." James caught Jacob as he started towards the door. "What's that? How have you been sleeping lately?"
"Normal. If you're looking at my eyes, then I've had this for ages. I'm fine. I'm also leaving." James sighed as the boy left. "Kids. I'll have to follow this up."

))Out in the hallway, Audrey yelped as a boy shoved passed her, causing her to drop her files in the hallway. Muttering obscenities in German, she quickly picked up her papers as James poked his head out of the door.
"Dr. Juiliana, what are you doing here?" he asked. Audrey put the last paper in place with a huff.
"Bah, I had to pick up some files from here. Did that kid just come from your office?" She asked, straightening her coat out and brushing dust from it.
"Yeah, what's up?"
"Something's wrong with him." the psychiatrist stated.
"I could see that. I'm going to follow up on it." James said. Audrey glared at him before sighing.
"Don't be so lazy. I can tell it's something deeper than, what, a cold? He's obviously sick." she ran a hand through her hair. "And here I thought I was going to be able to go home and relax..."

That's why I wanted to...well, I wanted to work in forensics," she admitted quietly, revealing something she had kept under wraps for a long time. "As for forensics..." He smiled for a moment, "I've got a friend who lives in the area around here. An ex-surgeon turned coroner. She does a lot of forensics work with the FBI." He blew a puff of smoke.
"Her name is Naomi... You know the kid who was your original surgeon before Felix here started working with you? Kid saved her life. She's been a pretty fun gal ever since. I think you'll like her doctor."

Cody left the patients room after she had taken her medicine, and returned to his office. While sitting on his chair, he noticed more charts on his desk.
"Hm, more patients. I should get to it," he thought to himself.
Cody left the office to visit the other patients who needed his help.

Gabe walked back into the office, "Hey RONI, how are the games going?"
"You have won quite a few battles, Doctor," RONI said, "That being said, I do believe you have an angry comment from one Super_Samurai_Sal. I had a hard time reading it, but I believe he said something along the lines of, 'Oh, Em, Ef, Ge, jew are a hacksor.' I was hoping you would be able to translate."
"Not now Roni!" He said with a dramatic flair as he lept over his table and started searching for his phone, "I need to call Naomi. Any idea where I left my phone?"
"I don't know Doctor, but you do have a patient coming in in about five minutes. Maybe it would be best to concentrate on them." the computer stated.
"If you can't help me find my phone, why the hell did they let you hack into the security cameras?" He muttered as he continued searching.
