Let's discuss the anime/manga/light novel known as Welcome to the N.H.K. here. It's about a paranoid 22 year old hikikomori. I won't spoil anything else. There's a review of it on me and Panda's blog if you're interested though.

I'm currently reading the Manga and started watching the Anime. I wish I could get my hands on the Light Novels...

I'm having problems with society myself and thus often find myself identifying with Tatsuhiro. I find it extremly interesting how the Psyche of the different kinds of characters in the plot is despicted and analyzed.

...Because I felt the need to advertise my fanfic with a self-drawn, animated banner. Yes, I'm obsessed, why do you ask?

^ Definitely. Everyone in NHK has different problems. It's deep as heck. As someone who has had similiar problems (to a lesser extent of course) it's easy for me to identify with them.

I really liked Yamazaki, Satou's otaku neighbour. :3 He was so cool and fun and hilariously mean to Satou at times. XD

Welcome to the N.H.K. is easily one of my favourite shows of all time. It's amazing and you should all go see it right now. Yes, that means you who is reading this topic right now. I really don't have a lot to say here other than that.

Woo, this anime. It's probably one of my favorites. I want to rewatch it so I can see the dub and Satou swearing the shit out of everything.
I also got the novel, but I kind of forgot about it after reading the first couple of chapters.

Oh, oh, and who else loved the ridiculous filler arcs?
"OH NO I AM STUCK IN A MULTI-LEVEL MARKETING SCAM" is the best/worst plotline ever.
