No, they are just very basic! There's absolutely nothing bad about them! Indeed, those proof that you have the ability to do a color-swap without leaving artifacts of the original color in the sprite- the first sign that you do have potential as a Spriter. In any case, it shows that you would probably be capable of doing a few really nice Frankensteinings, at very least.
So try going for more! We'll see how it turns out!

Well, if you want to take a step further, try some frankesprites, or headswaps or something. Useful practice if you want to make OCs in the future.
