First off,there's wright and maya,they first met at case 1-2 in which he defended her and then he gave her confidence at the end of 1-4,and was disturbed by her absence at the begining of case 1-5,and in case 2-2 he defended her again,both greatly care about each other as shown in cases 2-4 and 3-5,as pearl said,wright would walk over hot coals for maya,wright would be so greatly upset and deaply hurt if something were to happen to maya,and when wright was asked by iris about her being his girlfriend,he would answer with silence.
then there's also wright and iris,it began with iris posing as dahlia and trying to take the pendant from wright,but as they went through more dates,they developed love,and judging by iris's and feeny's charectars,it isn't hard to see why,not only that,but also,wright new that the dahlia at the court,wasn't the one he used to date,but a completly different person despite the fact that he had no clues,and later in 3-5,iris had told wright of what happened and how she was the one dating him,with wright replaying that he also knew somehow that it wasn't her at court 5 years ago,and in the endings credits,wright stared(or looked) at iris for quite some time,enough to get slaped by pearl,although i admit pearl considers almost all women a threat to the wright maya relationship.
quite a problem we find ourselves in,there isn't a single other iris related shipping other than the iris/dahlia insane shipping,and maya's other shipping is edgeworth in which,her relationship with edgeworth isn't even as close as her's with wright.
also,it may not be as strong as wrigh/maya or wright/iris,but there's also franziska,in which she hate him in a way or another,but she pretty much hate's edgeworth in the same way,wright also gave the whip back,trying to teach her the lesson edgeworth was tought between AA and JFA,and when presenting franziska's profile to acro,he'll replay by saying they are similiar and have the same eyes,and in the ends of case 2-3,acro will call wright and franziska a great team.
however franziska/edgeworth also work's...........what,they aren't blood related,they grew up with each other so they must have had a close relationship of sorts and both are of the same proffesion and edgeworth is trying to teach here the same lesson wright tought him about the true meaning of being a prosecutor.
also,there's edgeworth/ema,not as strong as edgeworth/franziska,but certainly stronger than edgeworth/maya.(to tired to explain why right now)
there's also apollo/ema and apollo/vera,and klavier/trucy also works really good,although klavier/ema may also work,but isn't as accurate as klavier/trucy due to ema hating him,but you never now what type of hate it is,i mean look at franziska/wright or franziska/edgeworth.
also,some phoenix wright and apollo justice cross-overs in GS5 may lead to more potential shippings,like apollo/maya or apollo/franziska,or edgeworth/trucy,or even klavier/maya,or klavier/pearl or apollo/pearl.
there's too many shippings and pairings that have common charectars that it's extremly difficult to determine who should be with who?

It's true; it's very difficult to determine what would be "best" or most "logical" when most of the characters have such close, compassionate relationships with numerous other characters. However, everyone has different reasons for liking one pairing over another, and being able to debate these points can be part of the appeal. I think I have a simple solution that will solve the debate once and for all!
The problem is that there are simply so many amazing characters in Ace Attorney that we've all grown quite attached to them and want to see them happy with each other. But we inevitably pair them off into different couples, due to our societal preconceptions regarding the necessity of monogamous relationships!
The solution:
and 
in a ninesome.Imagine the amazing fanart of them all sharing a bed! (You can even alternate the positions of the characters depending on your preferences. If
and together freaks you out due to pseudo-sibling stuff, just put several characters between them!) And imagine the amazing sequence where
finds out that everyone's in a relationship with each other and he's been excluded! Larry trying to get "into the group" would be like a perpetual reoccurring joke. And imagine what
might think when they all show up late to court, complete with scruffy hairdos, wrinkled clothing and sheepish blushes! "Someone's just been murdered, and I can't get a hold of our best defense attorney, both of our star prosecutors, our detectives or even that kooky spirit medium! Exactly what is going on?"
(After bursting into the courtroom with the others, his pants half-on, lipstick kisses smeared all over his face) "...Oh, sorry we're late, sir! We were just all in the bedroom for our scheduled three o'clock orgy." "..." (in the audience) "...WHAT."

By the way, there's something I want to say about Apollo/Trucy. There's no such thing as half incest. You're either related to someone or you're not. Apollo and Trucy are half-siblings, they share the same mother so it's incest no matter how much you try to sugar coat it.
Still you're free to ship it, I'm not trying to put anyone off. Just the half-incest mentions bother me a little bit. :)

I remember seeing Trucy/Pearl around... Just... No. I mostly think of them just being friends, not lesbian lovers. I'd go to Franziska/Adrian or Franziska/Maya for that.
I've also speculated which character would be most fitting for Apollo. I'd probably go with Vera or Viola. I've seen him paired with Klavier and Trucy (Obviously) and even Wocky (epic lulz).
Wocky/Machi... Seen this around too. I mainly only like the idea of Wocky being friends with Machi and thinking he's a girl at first XD But not as lovers, Machi's a little too young for that imo.

I think I have a simple solution that will solve the debate once and for all!
The problem is that there are simply so many amazing characters in Ace Attorney that we've all grown quite attached to them and want to see them happy with each other. But we inevitably pair them off into different couples, due to our societal preconceptions regarding the necessity of monogamous relationships!
