Ok, ok I’ll narrow it down. I could say that all of 2-4 (minus the bad ending...) is a favorite moment, but especially this quote…

Of course, a couple of years down the timeline, we learn all too well that Phoenix does just fine when the whole world turns against him… <_< But I digress…
This is the dedication that this pairing rests on, the level of dedication that drives Phoenix across the burning bridge in 3-5 (another favorite moment…I don’t see how you can ship this and not love the bridge scene).

anyway, it's like way past Halloween, but I drew Maya (and Pearl) for it this year, and forgot to post it here [link] (Phoenix didn't make it, I had brief thoughts of making him a vampire, but I procrastinated and there was no room for him anyway XD)
my fave P/M moments are probably the whole of 2-4, it's one of my fave cases partly because of it.
But also, that scene in the PL vs PW trailer, where Maya's sitting there eating a burger (she seems to have so much fun). I guess the two of them being thrown into a strange world, they can only depend on each other <3
@icer: that AJ theory is awesome and hilarious! It does explain a lot (though I don't really like the idea of Nick being dead). Though if she channels him, she still can't see or talk to him....
As for channeling a man, I do remember seeing pics (fanart I think?) of Misty channeling Gregory (and Edgeworth looking horrified). And also there was a story in one of the compilation mangas of Maya channeling Gumshoe XD

I think I read a fic about Maya channeling Gregory once. The rest of the fic was a completely serious fight for Miles' survival as Von Karma had his taser and wanted to kill him or something. Phoenix, Gregory and Miles were fighting for their lives against Manfred.
Only problem, Gregory was still in Maya clothes and I couldn't stop laughing, killing the drama completely.

I'm hazy on the details because I missed out on signing up last year, and didn't get to do it...basically, everyone writes/draws a P/M gift for someone else in the club, but you don't know who's giving you your gift. So it's like a surprise gift from whoever got your details. Or something.

I literally just made my account about thirty minutes ago just so I could post here, haha. I've been a lover of P/M since the first game and ship them with unwavering dedication, but I'm accepting of all couples, so yeah.
I missed P/M week (by months! sadface!), but maybe I can make up for it with some vignettes or quick art pieces? : D? I dunno. I'm such a forum lurker that I'm awkward when I post, haha.

However back to Phoenix and Maya; strangely I have seen an advertisement about them in a Japanese Magazine. I believe (if the person I asked is correct) it had something to do with the Nintendo 3DS? Someone can enlighten this for me?
In my absence my interest in Phoenix Wright slightly returned, so I will be more active on this forum again. If I have the free-time of course. :)

And then some of us were pretty annoyed with the P/I group when they completely copied our idea for giving P/M a specific celebratory day. Then some of it tried to sabotage their day by posting new P/M fics on the Present Testimony board, and we posted a lot more that day in this topic than the P/I shippers posted in their respective topic. Admittedly it was pretty humorous.
And then at some point I think somebody from the P/I board posted here and called for a truce, and then we've been at peace ever since, so far as I can recall. It's been nice. Then again I might be senile and none of this ever actually happened.
There was that incident in the last page, but I figure that those were just some new members that are too young or too new to CR to know what the meaning of respectfulness is.

We live in hope.
It is ASSUMED it will be localised by level 5 not Capcom like the other Layton games so it is HOPED it will be released here by them. But Nintendo itself distributes the Layton games to the West (not level 5 directly..)
The one issue I see with this is Phoenix and Maya could have a, um, different take than the Capcom localisers, if you know what I mean....
So, anyone read any good P/M fanfic since November? (assuming anyone comes here now)

Wait...it's working? It's working!!
I guess this means I'm back as well, and still unwavering in my support, though without much to show for it. Albeit I haven't written anything for the pairing in 2 years at least anyway. Still, as far as P/M is concerned, I've been in hibernation since the forum went down...I didn't even read fanfics much...
I did migrate over to the PW musical where I've been obsessing over the "I'll Be There" song. I'm pretty sure I saw it posted here at one point, but y'all should check it (and the entire production for that matter; it's amazing what those guys have done) out if you haven't.
Well, hopefully the rest of the P/M fans haven't been as complacent has me during the downtime...XD Now I will hopefully get off my butt and write something to celebrate.
