Larry Butz is exactly the same as he always was, plus a few child support payments to make each month. He wants absolutely nothing to do with the children he's fathered, not necessarily out laziness, but complete fear of doing something wrong. He has a new model girlfriend every other week and no steady job to speak of. Regularly visits/annoys his
Trucy Wright is not in a serious relationship with anyone, but currently has a boyfriend who really enjoys her magic tricks (I swear on all mah internetz that that WAS NOT some sick pun XD). She's in university, not that she wants to be (Phoenix made her go), and is waiting for it to be over so she can become the magician she's always dreamed of being. School is difficult for her, despite being a really smart girl. She has issues concentrating due to her spazzmatic personality and is currently studying Dramatic Arts.
Dick Gumshoe/Maggey Gumshoe: This couple is happily married with two kids, a son (10) and a daughter (8) . Said children take after their parents in an almost scary way, with each of them being extremely friendly and having horrible luck.
Franziska von Karma is married to some other man we've not seen in the AA universe. He too is a prosecutor who significantly less dramatic than his wife. They both live in Germany and they have no children. "The husband" would like to have some kids, but Franziska absolutely does not want to. She kept her maiden name when she married.
Klavier Gavin has long since left the rock star scene and has spent most of his time prosecuting cases. After a large amount of counseling to deal with the almost simultaneous arrests of his brother and best friend, Klavier has mostly healed from the grief and decides to try the dating thing again, and depending on how he feels on a particular day, dates both men and women. He feels that he's too old to get married despite not being that old, and is desperately searching for the perfect person. He'd tried to date Apollo for awhile but things got awkward fast and so they broke it off.(No really, I seriously think Klavier is bi. It's makes so much sense.)
Apollo Justice, who had a crush on Klavier for an exceedingly long time (which was, though he'd never admit it, spawned by the fact that he looked so much like his older brother), was sad to discover that such a relationship would not work out. He instead moves on to date and eventually marry one Pearl Fey (in 2031 she'd be 26 and he'd be 32 so it's all good ;D). They have no children due to
Kristoph Gavin has approximately three months left until his execution after multiple delays and an overall dispute over whether or not said execution should actually happen. Fighting depression, he is often visited by family and what some would call friends. It's hard for everybody involved to watch what was once a motivated and charming person to sit and stare blankly at the walls all day, and some are even wondering if it's worth killing him. Has not been visited by Klavier in over three years because [Klavier]'s therapist said it would be too difficult for both of them if he had. He is (obviously) not romantically involved with anyone, nor has he been since his arrest (Duuhhh... XD).
Maya Fey is the Master of the Kurain Channeling Technique. She was hurt for a little bit by Phoenix's rejection, but has moved on and focused on her extremely hectic job as Master. She has a love interest, but knowing how marriages usually turn out in Kurain (HIIIIIIGH divorce rate), has not pursued him very far.
Winston Payne has gotten a new haircut.

I honestly don't know what would have happened with Ema in terms of where she is in life and who she's dating/married to etc.

2031 Predictions! (sounds fun!)
Edgeworth is destined to remain single. He has basically single-target sexuality for Phoenix, but it will never come to fruition due to Phoenix...umm...being straight. They will, however, always be the best of friends and the best of bros. He was definitely the one who gave Phoenix the connections he needed to set up AJ's jury, and he continues to work behind the scenes alongside Phoenix to ensure the efficiency of the system.
Maggey and Gumshoe are happily married, with two children -- both boys. Maggey has always really wanted a girl, so they'll probably try for another...but I think it's pretty obvious what Lady Luck likely has in store.

Larry is still following his calling as artist. Probably a starving artist
1) She'll be a fan of his work, having been incredibly deeply touched by one of his books (which he didn't even really intend to be that deep). They'll meet when she's the only one who shows up to his book signing. She'll explain what the book meant to her, and it becomes clear that she's the only one who can truly understand Larry's genius...or at least turn Larry's nonsense into genius. They'll become a writer/artist team for future books. Larry draws whatever random pictures pop into his mind, and the girl somehow interprets profound meaning from and writes beautiful stories to go along with them.
2) She'll be a model for one of his future portraits. A model who, for once, he doesn't fall all over at first sight, because he is, for whatever reason, too busy being strictly and passionately focused on this particular art project for which she's modeling for him. When the art project either fails in reception or is physically destroyed, which makes Larry extremely
, the girl sticks around to comfort him and it's only gradually that he realizes how beautiful she is, how perfect they are for each other, and how the project wasn't a waste after all.Franziska and Phoenix are... uh... well, I'm too new to the idea of the ship, so I don't have any of my own stories in mind about how exactly they'd get together. They are now completely legit with their "Mask*DeMasque Consulting" agency. Imagine several of the less-severe villains of the series being required to attend sessions there after conviction. I mean the game and the characters would keep telling me he was so hideous, and then I'd look at him and be like "No, he's actually more or less average looking, and a lot of women I personally know would be honored to date a guy that physically attractive." The body hair is definitely a bit much, but if he just shaved that off, he's still a handsome guy. And he actually has a polite, modest, and downright desirable personality type, so long as you get past his "mediocre" looks.
...Then again, I'm not attracted to men personally, so I could be completely off-base with this.
(It just always sort of bothered me how Phoenix and Maya would be like "OH GOD HE'S SO UGLY I CAN BARELY LOOK HIM IN THE EYE!" when, really, there are characters in this series who were far more repulsive, and who weren't even as halfway decent as poor Will was.)
