Sorry if there's a topic for this show already, I searched but nothing came up.

Anyone else like this show? I started watching it a few weeks ago and I'm absolutely in love with it.

I just got into this show during the second half of Season 2. I love it so much. I borrowed the first season from my mom before Season 3 premiered.

The characters are great and I love the stories for each episode plus the ongoing plot of the treasure.

USA has always been pretty good with characters. One thing that White Collar has in common with my other favorite show, Psych, is that it's so hard to choose a favorite character. Even the more minor characters like Jones and Diana are really likable. The only two I haven't liked are Lauren and Kate.

Speaking of characters, apparently sometime this season there's supposed to be an episode centered around Elizabeth and Mozzie. I am excited. :D

I love Psych as well. In fact, I like pretty much all of the USA shows. Even ones that I thought would be stupid, I've ended up liking.

It is very hard to pick a favorite in White Collar.

I know Kate is the girlfriend he's obsessed over, is Lauren the thief (long brown hair)?

I can't stand Kate. I'm glad she's not the focus on Neal's obsession anymore. I know she's supposed to be pretty, but she looked really ugly to me. I don't know why. She's not good enough for Neal.

USA is a very good channel. I hope they keep up with shows like this, because I will definitely keep watching.

Lauren is that girl who used to work in the unit before Diana returned (if I recall correctly, Diana was in the pilot and then replaced by her until the last few episodes of season one). Maybe it's just because I really really love Diana, but she came off as very vindictive to me and just generally pissed me off. I'm not really sure what happened to her, though. Once Diana came back she just kind of disappeared. xD
Alex is the name of the thief. I like her alright.

I agree with you about Kate. The storyline with her was solid, but it was obvious she didn't love Neal, so it really got my blood boiling seeing him chase after her so desperately. Honestly, I liked the second season's subplot with
Spoiler: Season one finale
Neal trying to find her killer

much more than the first season's when he was trying to find HER.

I didn't find her ugly, though. Not on the outside anyways.

Diana is so cemented in my mind as the other person that works in the unit that I totally forgot who Lauren was. She was okay, but I love Diana better.

Okay, Alex is the the thief, it's coming back. I don't dislike her but I think she's bad for Neal. I like Sara even though she's technically after Neal for that Raphael he allegedly stole, they make an attractive couple.

I don't blame you, she's pretty forgettable. I just tend to watch the first season a lot since I own it, and upon watching the episodes with Lauren in it again I kind of went, "Wow, this chick's a jerkface. Where's Diana?"

Alex is bad for Neal, but she was pretty vital in the first season, considering the music box and everything. The relationship with Sara seemed a bit rushed to me, but she's likable and their relationship is pretty well handled. It could certainly be a worse pairing.

I find most White Collar fans like Psych, too, and vice versa. Probably because both protagonists have, as Mozzie put it once, no sense of consequence. xD

True. I like the cool, calculated style of Neal Caffrey, and the very casual, silly style of Shawn Spencer.
Both shows are very entertaining and have good mysteries.

They definitely have a thread of deception in them. USA's new show Suits kind of fits that thread to in my opinion. The protagonist, Mike, is like Shawn in that his career is based on fraud. If he gets found out, he's in big trouble. My connection to White Collar is much less compelling. Neal wears nice suits, and everyone in Suits does too. On a deeper level, if all of Neal's activities were fully known by the FBI with absolute proof, he'd be back in jail.

^ I've read that Suits is like "a lovechild of White Collar and Psych" but haven't checked it out yet. I'm interested now, though.

The second episode of Suits much better than the pilot in my opinion.

^ If they're still going after the music box, it's season one. xD
If you like White Collar, I highly recommend Psych.

Spoiler: White Collar
Well, they were going after the music box... but also Kate (or w/e her name is) died, and Neal wanted to find her killer... and he might've found her killer, I forgot. They discovered the fractal signal... thingy... but I dun remember if they actually used it yet....

Spoiler:
Okay, well if they're still worried about the music box, it's definitely season one. Any episode where Kate is dead and they're looking for her killer is season two.

If you're not watching it in order, though, the subplots are probably going to be pretty confusing. xP
