Rules- must have art of your character which is not a sprite. This is the Fanart thread, so no sprite mods! You can start a thread over there if you want to share sprite mod OCs :)

Format- You don't have to follow this format, but this should cover the bases. If peopel can think of other things to add to the template then tell me and I'll add it :) This template however covers positive and negative traits- both which are important for a balanced character.

Name: Arthur Frost
Age: 20
Nationality: Never really thought about it... Japanese American, I suppose.
Occupation: Public Prosecutor
Back story: I could tell you, but it'd be a spoiler.
A bit about them: A rookie prosecutor during the years after AJ. With the Juror System in place, the "Era of Defense Attorneys" has come, bringing more and more corrupt lawyers into the courts. Arthur strives to convict defendants he believes to be guilty, but will ultimately make the choice he feels is right. Also knows a bit of martial arts.
Positive traits: Loyal to his friends, bitter towards his enemies. Frustrated by the imperfections of the law, but strives to improve it. A bit naive, but has a rather sharp wit. Tries to be as cool as ice.
Negative traits: Easily angered, and often treated with the usual respect an AA lawyer gets.

Name: Jameson "James" Colt
Age: 24
Nationality: American
Occupation: Defense Attorney
Back story: A young attorney who came from the south, more specifically, Texarkana, Texas. He always wished for a life of excitement when he was a child. Later, in his teen years, he was the target of bullies, and he couldn't fight back, as he doesn't believe in fighting with fists, but words. Because of this, he has a few emotional problems, such as an inferiority complex and is withdrawn from most people. Despite this, he is a gifted attorney and loves his profession.
A bit about them: He's a pacifist.
Positive traits: Smart, logical, and friendly. He knows just about everyone around town because he used to work as a waiter.
Negative traits: Sarcastic and stubborn. You do not want to get on his bad side.
Motive: He decided enough was enough and fought back to the bullies with bitter sarcasm and logic and reasoning. He told his father this and he told him he'd make a great attorney. Him, being the guy who loves to impress his parents, agreed, and he says it's the best choice he's ever done.

Back story:- She is an acrobat that was involded in a murder with her twin sister saffron (on romeos sprites) in the end, nethier of them are the murders BUT safforn revales a great secrect that they are not actuly sisters that there mothers where twins but peppers mother died at birth so safforns mother (peppers mothers twin) decied to take her into hr family, and call her her own.
A bit about them:- at first she may seem nasty and stubbor, but once she has wormed up to you, she is kind and gentel.
Positive traits:- she can forgive and forget. always takes care of people, even if she doesn't like them
Negative traits:- Stubborn, always gets what she wants. can sometimes be mean to her twin, for being less intelegent.

Occupation:- Leader of Sector R in the Asteria Intergalactic Task Force
Back story:- Her mother had an affair with a German solider, and gave birth to Ayami. Ayami grew up in a broken home. Her older brother went off to war between Venus and Earth when he was only 19. He died a year later due to friendly fire. Her father abused her, and murdered her mother, when he was arrested, she took care of her younger sister with their neighbors taking them in. She joined the A.I.T.F when she was only 17 years old. She was hand picked by the leader of the agency and trained under his watch along with 4 other recruits.
A bit about them:- Ayami is the main character, and constantly struggles with her emotions, she's not too focused on anything leisurely as she is too devoted to her job. She's strict but is immature due to her not being able to have a proper child hood, she often struggles from stress and at times is stubborn.
Positive traits:- strong leg strength, can use Assault Rifles well, as well as Pistols, good accuracy.
Negative traits:- Emotionally unstable, weak upper arm strength, lack of Sniper rifle skills (ironic, no?), Prosthetic left leg slows her down.
Motive:- To find meaning in her life.

Name:- Giuseppi de'Medici
Age:- 28
Nationality:- Italian
Occupation:- Ex-mafia member, Robotic Technician for Sector R.
Back story:- Giuseppi grew up in Florence,Italy and moved to New York to care for his ill mother when he was 24. He joined a gang in order to gain enough money for his mother's bills. But when he couldn't pay up, his mother married a rival gang's boss. She was convinced to get rid of her son, so she influenced Giuseppi's gang that he was involved with their rivals. He ran for his life, with his fiance and attempted to leave the country. Unfortunately, his fiance was killed while attempting to flee.
A bit about them:- Giuseppi is very rough around the edges, no nonsense and spontaneous. He's not great at showing his emotions and never gives warning to what he's about to do. He hardly smiles and has never opened up to anyone until he met Ayami. He's intelligent, but he tries to keep that fact a secret.
Positive traits:- Good upper body strength, high intellect, wisdom of electronics, and survival.
Negative traits:- Has a bad knee from his time in Mafia, curses a lot, heavy drinker, and lack in assault rifle knowledge.
Motive:- To live a normal life, without his past haunting him.

Name:- Vincent "Vain" Mezzoalto
Age:- 21
Nationality:- American/Italian/Japanese
Occupation:- Psychic adviser and Second in command for Sector R
Back story:- Vain is part of a failed time travel experiment. So he is from the past and has traveled to the future without a chance to go back. He's also part of a family curse that makes him psychic and makes his appearance seem different to others. This curse goes on for generations and generations till the family ceases to exist.
A bit about them:- Vain has a very cold exterior, he never shows his emotions because part of his curse can only work when he's calm both emotionally and mentally. He is in love with Ayami and tries to hide this fact. But when he's around her, his emotions come bursting out.
Positive traits:- Psychic abilities (Telekinesis, Mind reading, can read the future, channel spirits.) high intellect, high IQ (thanks to his psychic abilities)
Negative traits:- Can't use psychic powers without concentrating, prone to fainting spells, is a pacifist, very impulsive.
Motive:- To adapt to life in the future and protect the one he loves.

Name:- Boris Makalov
Age:- 26
Nationality:- Russian
Occupation:- Leader of Sector S
Back story:- Boris was the youngest of 12 siblings, 10 boys and 1 girl. Since was young, he has been teased because of his short stature, and his weak disposition. He was once bound to a wheelchair, but he since then has persevered and now is the fastest person among the agency. His father became proud of him when he joined the Russian military at a young age. He joined the agency at the age of 23 and has since lead Sector S.
A bit about them:- Boris is very persistant, and thinks about logic over emotion. He is very intelligent and doesn't like goofing off. He's very serious and strong willed. His pompous attitude gets him into trouble often.
Positive traits:- Great Leader, good arsenal knowledge, very intelligent, very fast in speed.
Negative traits:-very weak in strength, cocky and obnoxious, tends to over estimate his abilities.
Motive:- To be the man his father was.

Name:- Alexander Kraus
Age:- 29
Nationality:- German
Occupation:- Prosecutor / part time model / billionaire by proxy
Back story:- Kraus is the heir to Kraus Group, a large corporation in Germany who recently spread their wings to America. Kraus was born into old money, into a business that at the time was clean cut, and always worked with the law till their family were blackmailed by a crime family in America, the Abitonara. Kraus moved to America to 'branch out the family business', but his real reason for moving was that the Abitonara needed the state on their side for their dark dealings.
A bit about them:- Kraus is a man of honour who doesn't see the criminal underground as evil, but as a means to an end. He uses his charm and powerful name to bend not only the law, but also the criminal world to do his bidding. Kraus holds reputation as a high priority, and hides many deep dark secrets from the public with the spotlight of the company being focused on him and his lavish lifestyle. Kraus will often 'adopt' girlfriends to deter the paparazzi from the full picture, that he's only interested in men.
Positive traits:- Kraus is a devoted friend to those who's generosity and dedication knows no bounds for those loyal to him. Despite living a morally corrupt lifestyle, he retains a strong sense of dignity, and upholds the moral core of his family. Anything he is passionate will accomplished no matter what the cost. Financially or otherwise.
Negative traits:- Kraus leads a dark lifestyle. He holds many contacts in the criminal underground now, and it's far too tempting for him to throw money towards the black market and get things done illegitimately, which he often does. His strong sense of conviction can make him a vengeful enemy if you double cross him. Kraus has no issues with defending a guilty party if it is to solidify his reputation. Kraus also smokes, but not heavily.
Motive:- Kraus feels the pressures of the life of the Mafia, and wishes to free his family's bonds from the Abitonara, but he has to be tactful about it- keep your friends close, and enemies closer. He sees many options, the greatest being that he takes the family down as a whole.

Name:- Katherine Squalour 'Kat'
Age:- 19/20, she has her birhtday in the comic....
Nationality:- English-American
Occupation:- Student
Back story:- Katherine discovered she was a bit different when she was 6 years old. She was wondering and wondering, what it would it be like to be a dog, and, all too suddenly, she was a dog. Her parents soon discovered and revealed to her, that they had secret powers too, and she couldn't tell anyone about it. Kat didn't, of course. She told all her friends about it at school. Her parents then explained to her that people like them weren't accepted in society. They moved to England, where there were some relatives. At the age of 16, she got sent to a special school with other people who had powers, so she could hone them and control them better.
A bit about them:- Kat is what is known as a 'super'. She can metamorphisize into a Dalmatian, but only that. She finds it wuite ironic considering her nickname has always been 'Kat'. She really likes sports, especially swimming, and isn't the most academic girl ever. She dies her hair different colours, sometimes only keeping a colour for a month before changing it again, but her most favoured colour is bright purple. Many say it's a wonder her hair hasn't all fallen out yet.
Positive traits:- She means what she says -- she won't lie often. Full of beans.
Negative traits:- Sometimes she doesn't understand the consequences of her actions, or what the best hting is to do. She thinks of herself when she makes decisions
Motive:- She doesn't have an aim in life right now, but she does hope that supers can be normal members of the public soon.

Occupation: Defense lawyer.
Back story: (Its very long...I'll write it tomorrow)
A bit about them: Kinoko is actually a carefree/lazy person but when it comes to work she is really serious. Her name is a pun on the Japanese youkai satori (And they can read minds). She has the ability to read minds, but only when the person panicking/doubting.
Positive traits: Optimistic, serious when it comes to work, helpful.
Negative traits: Lazy, glutton.
Motive: (Motive for her job? Uhh okay) To search for her older brother who has gone missing for many years.
Extra information/links: She can read minds. Well its an ability that has passed down in the family anyway. But not every family member has the ability though.

Name:Matthew Coleman (temporary name.. if you guys have any ideas, please help me out )

Age: 27

Nationality: American

Occupation: Prosecutor, tutor, author of one book about law and personal assistant to the new Chief Prosecutor.

Back story: Before writing the book "The Poetry of Justice" no one knew much of him. Was homeschooled, although he always wished to start on a real lawschool. Coleman has always had a huge interest in the law, but he never thought that he one day would find himself at the prosecution desk. Some years after his book became a national succes in the buisnessworld, he was contacted by the new chief prosecutor, who wished him to use his smarts in the name of prosecution, and after prosecuting a few cases, she then made him his only assistant.

A bit about him: You could say that the word "unprepared" doesn't exist in Matthew Coleman's vocabulary - but then you would be wrong. He know of the word and it's meaning, and he could probably write you an essay about that single word and it would be 50 pages thick. According to Mr. Coleman himself, he is a huge fan of Phoenix Wright and his way with the law - but he hardly shows any excitement or even happiness when actually meeting him in person. He doesn't like to be clueless about anything, and it is therefore his personal duty to know everything about anything - even things like Maya's favourite burger or the length of the judge's beard. He keeps a court record on him at all time - a court record that is so thick, but yet so organized, and it's contents seems to be unlimited.

Positive traits: He is kind and respectful to those who uphold the law. He does not want to make enemies with the defense attorneys, but simply wishes for a courtroom where neither the defense or the prosecution needs to be the bad guy. He has a great knowledge, although one might suspect that he wouldn't know that much if it weren't for his precious court record.

Negative traits: Although he acts kind and respectful, it's easy to assume that it is just a facade, as he rarely smiles or show any excitement about anything. He can, at times, be very arrogant if someone isn't familiar with all the facts. He calls himself a fan of Phoenix Wright, but often acts like he is ashamed of him, if Wright's reasons for wanting victory in a courtroom doesn't live up to Coleman's ideals. He is not a colorful character, and can at times take all the fun out of a situation. On the other hand can he easily become the laughing stock because he is not too familiar with the whole "humour" thing.

Motive: To quote Mr. Coleman: "Only if the defense attorney and the prosecutor are equally talented can the entire truth be found. That is why both parts should strive for perfection. Not to fight the other one to achieve personal victories, but so both parts can help each other unravel whatever mysteries lies in front of them." (I would really like for this quote to be polished so that it might sound a bit better.. like "law poetry" if you will.. if anyone is good with words, PM me please :P)... So he basically wishes to be the best for anything other than selfish reasons.

Extra information: He is the tutor to a much younger prosecutor - one who he seems to have strong connections to. The other prosecutor looks up to Coleman which is something that Coleman sometimes takes advantage of - although he doesn't really mean to.

Name: Tyray "Ty" Prince
Age: 21
Nationality: American, West Indian heritage
Occupation: Defense Attorney
Back story: Tyray was born into poverty. His father was a drug dealer and his mother took drugs. He spent his childhood on the streets mostly, since his mother was always so high. When he was 10 his mother decided to get clean so they left the city to move in with his rich grandfather, an esteemed lawyer. Despite her efforts, however, she relapsed and went back to the city. Tyray decided to stay with his grandfather and focus on his education. He graduated high school early at age 16 and earned his law degree at age 20. He joined his grandfather's law firm and took his first case when he was 21. The rest is history (or in my fangame haha)
A bit about them: Tyray is very laid back and calm. However, when it comes to defending his clients, he has a very sharp mind and can think up comebacks and arguments on the spot. He also has a tendency to lose his temper if the cause is something he has strong feelings about.
Positive traits: Caring, laid back, funny, witty, determined, motivated
Negative traits: his temper, sometimes easily distracted
Motive: When Tyray was growing up in the ghetto, he saw many people get dragged off by the police on various charges. He wanted to see what happened to those people so he would watch publicly broadcasted trials on TV. He saw how corrupt and one-sided the court system was and how so many people got convicted. He wanted to stand up for people like these and try to find the truth in these seemingly open and shut cases

A bit about them:-Michael and his sister Meghan work at the Penndragon Art and Law Offices, and originally an attorney at Fray and Co. Law Offices. He also has a large scar on his jaw that...I can't tell you. xP
Positive traits:-He has an enourmous sense of justice, and is dead set on putting away crime. He can also be very kind if not eccentric.
Negative traits:-He is extremely socially awkward, and unless somebody trustworthy is within the area (like Meghan, for example), then he is cold to anybody he meets.
Motive:-He wants to put away crime because- *shot**shot**shot*

Name:- Sarah Cottontail
Age:- 24
Nationality:- American
Occupation:- Model / Infiltrator / Femme Fatale etc...
Back story:- Sarah's background is rather complex. Lets just say that she's a white dove with a rope tied to its leg.
A bit about them:- Sarah is a seemingly innocent face in a life of crime, but her sweet smile hides the web of lies she constructs around her with the multiple persona she lives. It's not certain how many persona she has, but each has different abilities. She perfectly adopts a personality to suit the outfit she wears and every one is different. The one consistency about her is the hearts theme. All outfits she has a heart on it somehow. Sarah is chained to Kraus' care and can't venture far without him.
Positive traits:- They vary with her personas. She is highly honourable and quick to react. Efficient at what she does. She is a quiet person in all of her personas however.
Negative traits:- She is quiet, and has little personal drive left in her save her 'missions'.
Motive:- She has reasons to be protected by Kraus, but part of her longs to be with the man she truly loves, Zeth Gant.

Name:- Ursula Wills
Age:- 28
Nationality:- American
Occupation:- Ace Attorney!
Back story:- Ursula grew up a fairly normal childhood, except that her parents were often at work, leaving her to look after her younger brother Alec, who is 8 years younger than her, since she was around 12 years old. Thus, the siblings are very close and often work on cases together, Alec being Ursula's legal aide. Ursula hasn't been a lawyer for very long, and before being a lawyer she worked as a freelance artist.

A bit about them:- Ursula works for the 'V.Savage & Associates' which is run by Victor Savage, a mysterious man with a lot of past. He chooses which lawyers take on certain cases, and, as Ursula catches on too, all of them seem to be linked.
Positive traits:- Ursula is a bright, fast-thinking lawyer who is more than often willing to help people, at her expense.
Negative traits:- Sometimes she comes across as too helpful, and has a habit of rubbing up people the wrong way because of this, although she means well.
Motive:- To discover the link between her cases, and find the secret of the eccentric Savage family.
Extra information/links:- I'll hopefully be making a sprite comic out of her...or a fangame, if I manage to drum up enough support.
