Somari, rather than being annoyed, said, "Thanks man!", and started eating the steak faster than most people should even be allowed to.

After finishing the steak, he runs out to Zex. "Are you okay?"

"Bastard! He gets one little insult and he gets all bloody touchy! We've lived in HELL for the last 4-5 years, and he gets all emotional over his bloody SINGING," Luso complained, then he heard the familiar playing of the violin. "Hurdy..."

"Kupo po, come on Luso, let's play that song," the weird-looking moogle replied.

"Fine, fine," Luso sighed. "Everyone? Instruments!"

Most people began running around, grabbing instruments until they had formed a small band.

"Who's on vocals?" Luso asked. "Just me, or..?"

"Everyone," Adele replied.

"Got it. EVERYONE YOU'RE ON VOCAAALS!!!" Luso yelled. Then the band began playing a soft melody and a bunch of people with no instruments gathered together at the front. They grinned at each other, some flushing red at the fact they were performing in front of strangers.

"Hey, look, they're gonna sing a song!" Skylar pointed to the band.

Zex then stands up, throws away his book and cries "Somehow, you are right in a sense, I just got a new power, but no one sees it. I though they were blind not to see it, I though it would help them in battle. Yet, I ended up like this. Now, I only need 3 more people, just to hear me sing Your Song, one last time. I may be leaving today." Zex is sure of what he meant

"Being alone seems a hardship, but really it's not. It's being stuck with people, jammed in cages, singing every night~"

Luso stepped forwards and everyone else stopped singing.

"Because science isn't fun, kids," he said then stepped back.

"The day they brought in Simon, the first Dr Eggman~ He staggered, slurred and limped, we knew he couldn't last the night~ His last night on this Earth, we gathered together and sang. SANG! And we sang..."

Luso took in a solo. "Ring ring ring ring ring ring ring, banana phone~"

Homer Simpson got a solo, too. "Spider pig, spider pig, does whatever a spider pig does, can he swing? From a web? No he can't, he's a pig. LOOK OUT!! He is a spider pig~"

"ZEX!!" Luso called.

Hurdy stared glumly at the lyrics sheet.

"Damn, I spent at least 10 hours writing that," he sighed.

"Me too," Luso replied.

"Me too," Adele piped up.

"Me too," Vaan groaned.

'Me too's came from all around the room.

"Okay, we'll sing this song ourselves, kupo po?" Hurdy said.

"Kupo po," the band replied. The band continued playing the song.

"Hurdy, guys, you ready?" Luso asked.

"Kupo po!" Hurdy replied and the band played.

"It's a little bit funny, this feeling inside. I'm not one of those who can easily hide... I don't have much money..." the band all sang perfectly in tune.
