You got yourself good and lost this time," he muttered, looking around him. This part of the forest was completely unknown to him, which was rare.

Chase shrugged. "You get used to it. I'm just sad there aren't random parked vehicles in the forest." He led Migoto through the woods and underbrush, looking for familiar sights, but they seemed to be rather far from the village. Twenty minutes later, Chase was still no closer to getting them home. "Man, I'm stumped. Pun not intended," he said.

Chase thought for a moment. "Uh, I think Tom does, yeah. Man, that guy is crazy. I can't tell you how many times we got into crazy spots. Like this one time, we were in this ba-" he was interrupted by tripping over a branch. He face-planted into the dirt, and, spitting out a mouthful of leaves, spotted the Big One.

The Big One was a tree the Hoods used as a mark, and a spare hiding place for their loot. It was tremendous, about 15 feet wide. The inside was hollowed out to store especially rare treasures for selling later. "Hey, look! The Big One!" Chase exclaimed. "I know the way back from here."

"Awww. I was gonna climb the tree..." Migoto said. She was really good at 2 things; ninja athletics and and getting through security systems. She was like Sly Cooper, only female and human.

Chase grinned. "I bet I get up there faster than you!" He burst into a sprint and jumped towards the tree, planting a foot on the trunk and vaulting up, grabbing onto a fat branch and throwing his legs around it, sloth-style. Hanging there and looking at Migoto, hair falling down in front of his eyes, he laughed wildly. "I'm like a spider monkey!"

With ninja skills, Migoto springboarded her self onto a branch. Then, she hopped from limb to limb, getting a good distance up the tree in little time. And, she did it in her high-heeled boots.

"Well, I'm a ninja~" she replied. Then she did a spire jump onto the tip of a thick branch. She was such a show off.

Chase swung himself up on the branch and held up his arms to catch her. "C'mere, you crazy ninja, you." She was above him on the tree, and his branch was lower than hers.

Migoto smiled and jumped off the branch like a diving board. Then, she did a flip and landed in Chase's arms. "You have no idea how long I've been doing stuff like this. I would jump off buildings, slide down clothes lines... That was my brand of crazy stunts."

Migoto giggled. "That started when I was six and I decided that I was invincible. I jumped off the roof of our house onto a trampoline, then landed on my leg and broke it." She laughed "Despite that, I still did stupid stuff. Eventually, my parents signed me up for karate and I got good at doing stupid stuff."

Chase laughed loudly. "Oh man! That must have been awesome. Breaking limbs is fun." He reminisced on all the broken arms, legs, neck... Wait a minute. He stopped and thought, then asked, "Hey, how long were you out on the leg? I mean, how long was it injured?"

"Well, for me it took forever to heal because I kept doing stupid stuff. And it was also broken in like, 2 spots." Migoto replied, "And yours is more like a cut." She thought about it, and absent-mindedly messed with the band-aid she had covering the markus-cut on her cheek.

Chase shook his head. "No, I mean, I've broken limbs before, but it was only for like a week, then I was back on my feet." He scratched his head, remembering another thief that had joined him on a heist. They had to jump off a second story window and into a truck, and they both escaped with broken legs. The other thief was out for a few months, but Chase was stealing something again in two weeks. "I think I repair faster than usual," he said, looking down at his leg, which already looked better than yesterday. "Sweet! I'm like Wolverine!"

Migoto laughed. "And, you drink lots of milk. All that calcium must have made your bones like titanium or something." She looked around, then jumped on the branch, grabbed it with her hands, did a complete 360 degree flip like it was an uneven bar for gymnastics. She let go, did a flip in the air and stuck the dismount. "Ta da~!"

Chase broke into applause and hopped off the branch, rolling as he hit the ground a good deal less gracefully than Migoto. He tackled her into a hug and set her down on the grass. "It's unfair how awesome you are. It's cheating. But, like, a good kind of cheating," he said.

Chase sighed. He was so jealous all the time; he felt bad for not being able to relax. He hated the feeling, because it implied that he didn't trust her, which he did. However, that didn't change the fact that he still was jealous for little or no provocation. He worried that it would lead to trouble later on. "I believe you. I'd never cheat on you; I'm like a dog. Loyal as all hell. And my hair is kinda soft, so I guess that's another thing. My tounge's not so long, though."

Chase blinked. "Silly goo- what the hell?" Shaking his head, he led Migoto through the forest, now very aware of his surroundings. He noted every tree that passed, and they finally emerged from the Forest and into the village. The sentries by the gate nodded at them. Chase led them through until he reached his tree, then climbed up into it, flinging himself from across the room onto the bed with a tremendous thud.

Migoto followed Chase back to his tree. Instead of flopping next to him on the bed, she put everything away and went to the window. "Hey!!" She yelled, "Who's basket did we borrow? We're done with it, so you can have it back now!"

Chase sprinted to the window. "No! She's lying! It is my basket; I claim it! You shall never own this basket henceforth and forthwith I banish you from basket ownership!" he yelled, and the thief he borrowed it from emerged from his tent in a huff. "Curse you, unserviceable villian!" Chase threw the basket out the window, and the thief retrieved it. "Yeah, we're kinda retarded," he said, returning to the bed.
