Yeah, probably, too good to be true
But hey, I think it's cute how Maya is his partner in the game helping him out, very touching. And anything like that counts as totally biased subjective 'evidence' for crazy shippers right?
I'm just sad there's no psyche locks, but never mind. Does Maya's power attack/whatever include little magatamas? I thought I saw them but don't have time to go freeze framing right now. I want to see fanfic of this and how it's worked into the 'plot' of GS World. Along with PL vs PW, not to mention Hobo MASON Insanity, this is getting weird...
Also weird his alt costume is an Edgeworth suit rather than the hobo gear. That would have been, um, amusing. Attacking with forged cards?

Not that I saw. She has the pummeling in the hyper attack, the slide, and that shield which is totally made up solely for the game. Man, that shield sure would have come in handy for poor Nick earlier. Maybe it's some kind of soul power channeled through the magatama?
Clearly the reason Phoenix survived being hit by a car is the magatama shield. Bam, it's canon.

Nah, as far as I saw, she just channels her energy into the attack. Though, it's really awesome to see Maya use her ESP for something else than calling Mia (or Dahlia) once in a while.
I agree, the Powers of the Fey Clan are vastly underexplored, especially given that there's a lot of parts in the games that imply that they are capable of more things, like the fact that Pearl was able to cast a lie-detecting and breaking hex on a plain piece of jade, or how Maya and Mia mentioned that prior to Ami Fey, their duty was to communicate with the and calm the Gods/Kami/High Spirits/Whatever you want to call them. Then, there's also how Mia used her powers to directly speak to the other victims of Redd White... I wonder why Maya never did this in order to talk to Mia.
...On that note, I need to do research on Reibai (The kind of Spirit Medium that Maya is) in or University library sometime... I wanna figure out how close the portrayal really is...
Oh, that's just one of his Alternate Costumes. He's going to have five. I am willing to bet that Feenie and Hobo are gonna be among the other 4...
On the thread topic, while I personally don't really ship characters, I find Maya and Phoenix one of the more plausible and cuter pairings in the fandom and absolutely don't discourage anyone to ship it, as long as they act friendly about it to not-supporters. Thus, I congratulate you, because you guys seem like a really nice bunch.
I personally am more inclined to think that Maya sees somewhat of a replacement-older-sibling in Nick. Too bad we never really saw too much of her interaction with Mia in order to proove or disproove this.
Further, I think you should make Pearl and Trucy your Club Mascots if they aren't already. You'd get their full support for everything you do, I bet.

Honestly, I'm not really a shipper either. I was just legitimately expecting Phoenix and Maya to wind up together at the end of T&T and was surprised when it didn't happen. I like to think it happened some time after the fact. After all they've been through they deserve it.
But see, that's the great thing about Phoenix and Maya. They don't have to be romantically involved to be awesome together. In fact, maybe the anticipation and misconceptions of those around them is what makes it so much fun. Constantly being in denial around Pearl could be the reason they haven't gone anywhere too. Ah, irony.

That being said, I still really like PhoenixxMaya, either romantic or not, and I hope
is an GS5 (With as the main character, please). I can also see and getting along and trying to pair Phoenix and Maya togerher.Although I do like
