The Nickel Samurai, follow-up to the Steel Samurai, wins the "Hero of Heroes" Grand Prix. Shortly after that, The Nickel Samurai is about to give a press conference. But before he could do that, the actor who plays The Nickel Samurai's TV opponent The Jammin' Ninja, Juan Corrida, has been murdered. Phoenix, Maya, and Pearl were all there for the conference. Wendy Oldbag starts running her mouth. Phoenix, Maya, and Pearl then go to Viola Hall. A suspicious looking person who claims to be the bellboy informs Maya that she has a call. Both of them go to the lobby. The person who plays The Nickel Samurai, Matt Engarde, is arrested. Will Powers, who invited Phoenix, Maya, and Pearl to the ceremony, is informed about the murder. He apparently has some sort of walkie-talkie. The walkie-talkie then rings. Phoenix picks up the walkie-talkie and hears Maya's voice.
"What is this called again in your fancy lawyer terms?"
"Kidnapping for ransom..."
Maya was kidnapped. The ransom was a complete acquittal of Matt Engarde.
Phoenix now must defend Engarde.

I hate JFA but 2-4 was awsome and kept it on my DS. The characters in it were epic. And yeah it had alot of polt twists in it like hell.
Only thing that ticked me off is the amount of witchcraft that goes on there. Like, Matts Magical Gravey Glass, And Adrians Glasses. (Here's a tip get contact lenses)
Thank god i'm not the only one that didn't think of Franszika the first time. Took me 3 replays to figure it out.

I know, i found it funny but the Glass one had no explation at all. at least SOMG of them had explantions or sort of ones. Like Adrian had alot of spare pairs. But the gravey glass anoyyed me the most because my uncle used to have a glas of gravey.
One of my fave parts is

Ah, anyway... I found the whole thing how they handled Maya's kidnapping genius. It wasn't your usual "Hero saved Damsel" scenario, Maya actually had to struggle to further her own rescue, and it was done by the police, like it should be. Meanwhile, all Nick could do was stall for time. Which he did awesomely well.
...Because I felt the need to advertise my fanfic with a self-drawn, animated banner. Yes, I'm obsessed, why do you ask?

It's because of him, they were able to track down DeKiller and get the Celeste and teddy bear evidence right? Although I did want to see the ending that's another reason I played...DAMN I PLAYED IT FOR NO SPECIFIC REASON BUT FOR TRUE LOVE FOR THE ACE ATTORNEY SERIES!!!!*shot*

Anyway, this is my favourite case in JFA, mainly because it has so many great characters, not to mention the return of Edgeworth.
