"Oh, pardon my manners." said Artemis. "My name is Artemis. Artemis Blind. Mr. Wright should know who I am."

As she spoke, she continued to try and wring the water out of her hair. "What a day for me to forget my umbrella." she muttered to herself. "I'm certain it wasn't raining when I left home."

Vaughan nodded with a slightly more polite air about him now than before. "The rain was pretty sudden. Mr Wright will be able to direct you to some towels to dry yourself off." Motioning her in, Vaughan stood aside slightly. Atleast there was alot of visitors to this party. It took the dull edge off being a door guard in wet weather.

"Thank you kindly." said Artemis with a bow as she entered through the broken front door. She took off her purple shawl and started looking around for Phoenix. Although she seemed calm and collected, she had butterflies in her stomach. Magic was a passion of hers ever since she was little, and the prowess of Trucy Wright was certainly no exception. She felt it was an honor to finally have a chance to talk to the granddaughter of the great Magnifi Gramarye, even for a brief moment.

First thing first, though. She had to dry off and settle in. She continued to look around for Phoenix.

Artemis made her way down the hallway until she reached the dining room, where the festivities seemed to be taking place. She let herself in, and noticed many unfamiliar faces. She cleared her throat to make herself known.

"Excuse me, does anyone know where Mr. Wright is?" she inquired.

Audrey closely listened as best she could while Zeth was on his phone. She was trying her best to get a read off of him, to see what was bothering him so much. He was obviously a person who was very secure with his feelings, and he didn't often feel like sharing much personal information. She thought, maybe if she put her feelings out there and made herself vulnerable, then maybe he would be receptive to that and feel more comfortable. Or she could just trick him into letting something slip. But, why did it even matter that she knew what was going on with him? It was really none of her business at all. What to do, what to do, she thought as he hung up his phone."Hey, Zeth, who were you talking to just now? Was it anything important? But, then again, I guess you don't have to tell me anything." Wow, all the things she thought to say and that came out! What a failure, she thought to herself while waiting for Zeth's reply.

Leann went up to Darren while Alex and Vera were completing their spin. She decided that she might as well try talking to him if they were going to kiss twice, or once for a long time. This is turning out to be one crazy night, she thought as she walked up to him. Here goes nothing."Hi Darren. So... we have to kiss pretty soon. Kind of awkward, huh?" She thought maybe if he felt as awkward as she did, she would feel a bit more comfortable about the whole thing. But then again who knew what Darren felt about kissing her? Maybe he was the confident type, in which case Leann would feel ten times more awkward about the kiss. There was potential for things to turn out very good or very bad for her.

"Hey, Zeth, who were you talking to just now? Was it anything important? But, then again, I guess you don't have to tell me anything."

Zeth gave her a strange look at her question. Did she want to know or not? What a strange way of asking a question. Slipping his thumbs into the straps of the apron, Zeth shrugged, "Just letting in a new woman from the precinct. The doorman wanted me to check that she was safe to let in. No big deal." Casually walking back to the table, Zeth motioned her to follow, "We should do the next spin without those three. I'm pretty keen to get back into normal clothing."

((He's telling the truth for once O.O Not the whole truth, but the truth netherless... Heh... perhaps talking to people that know Zeth is better. Or maybe that'll just make him paranoid XD ))

**********************

Darran glanced coyly at Leann and slipped his hands into his pockets.

"No," He responded, "Why should it be awkward? Just cause Lex makes a huge deal out of a simple kiss doesn't me it's awkward to everyone. But just so you know, you can't keep me," Grinning, Darren gave Nadine a light elbow in the side, "I'm already taken."

Artemis was slightly disappointed that her shadow of existence was still rather miniscule as she continued looking for Phoenix. Looking around, she spotted a man wearing an apron walking towards the table, which struck her as odd.

Just what sort of party is this? she wondered to herself as she approached the man. "Um, I beg your pardon, but do you know where I can find Mr. Wright? The doorman out front said he could help me find some towels so that I can dry off."

((Sorry- I was going to respond when I gave Nadindi a chance to RP but she hasn't yet. I don't want to stall you too much. I'll give her a reminder that I'd be great to get an RP out of her >.< ))

"Oh!" Zeth's eyes flashed wide open, "Blinds! I wondered if it was you. The guy over there in the blue suit is Wright." Pausing for a moment, he realised that he wasn't wearing his glasses, and wearing an apron wasn't the biggest give away of who he was, "Uhhh... you don't know me yet but I'm Zeth Gant from forensics," Offering a hand, Zeth facial shrugged, "You picked one hell of a party to crash here!"

((Note- Phoenix is wearing his old lawyer outfit, but it's a bit tight on him now. Zeth is wearing the apron and bonnet of the Tre Bien waitress outfits, and boxer shorts. http://www.fan-store.net/catalog/Apollo ... 197_01.jpg goodness knows how bad this looks on him XD I wonder if Zeth has a hairy chest... ((It's fine.))

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Gant." said Artemis, shaking Zeth's hand. "Well, I'd better go let Mr. Wright know I'm here and freshen up. I'll see you later."

With a courteous nod to Zeth, she made her way over to Phoenix. "It certainly has been a long time, Mr. Wright." she said. "Sorry if I'm not presentable, I didn't bring my umbrella since it wasn't raining when I left home."

Leann was shocked by Darrens reply. She knew that he was dating someone, and she was a bit upset that he thought she might have been trying to flirt with him or something. She was just nervous about the kiss, but Leann didn't even want to be near him now. It seemed like he was overconfident and full of himself. Leann didn't really get along with people like that. Now she didn't know what to say to him. "Um, I wasn't trying to flirt with you if that's what you were thinking. I know you are dating someone. I'm not like that you know. And just because I have to kiss you for the spin doesn't mean that I would want to "keep" you!" After saying that Leann swiftly walked away, surprised at herself for being so angry towards him.

Audrey was glad that Zeth had given her what seemed to be a straight answer. Maybe she could get him to give her an honest response. Who knew what he actually thought of her, whether he found her annoying or cute or even a friend. She willingly followed him back to the game, laughing at him as he talked about changing out of his apron.

((I'll give it another day before Phoenix breaks the conversation with Luna. This is Christmas and everyone is busy, and people can take a week to respond. ))

"Um, I wasn't trying to flirt with you if that's what you were thinking. I know you are dating someone. I'm not like that you know. And just because I have to kiss you for the spin doesn't mean that I would want to "keep" you!"

"Huh?" Darren's expression turned WTF as Leann just turned around to walk away. Grabbing her arm before she could, Darren's expression turned into bewilderment, "Hey, I'm just joking you around. I didn't think you were flirting with me. You need to lighten up a bit, you know?" Letting go of her arm, Darren put his hands back into his pockets, "This is just a kissing game, not a life sentence. Don't act like you have to marry the next guy you lay lips on. This is just for fun. I'm just saying..." Dusting his knuckles on his opposite shoulder for a moment before giving them a light blow, Darren grinned, "Just saying that no matter haw good I am at kissing, I'm already taken. There's just not enough of the J-man to go around to all the ladies." Cara giggled in mock from the circle,

"You're such an idiot, Darren. Can't you see that this is awkward for her? Quit acting like Superman," Rolling her eyes, she pointed at Alex, "He looks like he's going to be a while. You may as well get it over an done with.

"This is true," Darren murmered, looking at Alex's scowl at both Cara and him. He looked SERIOUS annoyed about how that kiss was treated. Time to give him room. Looking to Leann, Darren offered his hand, "Hey, forget about all of that. This is a kissing game and I need to kiss you. I promise that I'm not a jerk when I'm doing that."

Kissing Darren would be no treat for Leann. After all he had said to her about lightening up, she was really mad. But she tried not to let that show. She figured it would be easier to kiss him if she made him think that she wasn't upset. "You're right. Maybe I do just need to lighten up."In her head she was thinking, I just need to get this over with. So, she just went for it. She reached over, grabbed Darrens head, and pulled him in for a kiss.

"Hooooold it!" Darren judo chopped his hand up in between the two of them, sounding like he just stepped out of a B grade karate film, "Normally I dig a proactive chick, but you're still annoyed at me, otherwise you wouldn't have gone for my head."

Grabbing Leann's hand and putting it to his side, Darren gave her a kinder smile, "Here tells me that you're a sweet girl that is playing this game because she wants to kiss a cute guy, and not that my head is at your mercy."

Leann felt waves of embarrassment wash over her as Darren put a stop to her attempt at a kiss. When he pulled her aside to talk about it it was all she could do to keep from crying. Even though she didn't like him, it was still embarrassing to be rejected by him. But she realized that she would just have to look past that and let him know she could just let it go." I'm sorry Darren. I know I may have overreacted a bit, and...um...I am so sorry that I attacked your head like that. I don't usually act so...crazy." Leann took a deep breath and felt her cheeks get hot and red. She hated blushing, she thought to herself as she looked to Darren for his reply.

((Just so you know- Darren moved her hands from his head to his side... like his ribcage side or something. He didn't physically move her. That's a misinterpretation, but I'll just go with it. She's pretty upset right now so moving her hand could upset her too))

"Oh, now she's really upset..." Darren sighed, a bit annoyed that these girls joining a game where they knew they'd have to kiss guys, yet were getting so wound up about it. Vera, now her. It couldn't be helped though.

Wrapping his arms around her for a hug, he took a leaf out of Alex's book for once on women and tried to calm her down. Noticing Darren do this, Alex raised his brows in interest. Was Darren growing up finally?

"Look, I'm sure that you're not crazy," Darren said, trying to calm her down by rubbing her back, "I'm just trying to get you to relax. I'm doing this game cause it's fun, but it's no fun kissing a girl that doesn't want to be kissed, so how about it? You think you can cheer up a little?" Leaning back a little, Darren looked down at Leann and tipped her head up with an index finger knuckle under the chin, "It'll be totally cool- I promise. No frills, no funny business. Just a genuinely enjoyable kiss." Giving her what he hoped was a reassuring smile, Darren hoped this time she'd calm down.

((I just realised that I've deleted the picture I linked to with Darren in it. So you know what Darren (and consequently Alex) looks like, Darren is the red head in this comic page. Alex is the brunette. Question- do we have enough men in the teens game for the girls? I have some guy characters I can introduce that are a bit more noble. One of them is Bryan http://th02.deviantart.net/fs38/PRE/f/2 ... illian.jpg <- He has the two tone hair. Bryan is the head prefect boy in my story so it fits to make him one in this RP. In my story he's a prince who also has guardian blood. I'll drop his bloodline and emo past for this and just make him noble for this RP. He'd be easier to get along with than the over cocky Darren, or cold feet Alex. Damn it though... it'd be difficult to RP his awkward relationship with Alex though... oh well. I'll figure something out...))

((hehe sorry about that!))

When Darren gave Leann a hug, she certainly wasn't expecting it. She was surprised that he had such a compassionate side to him. Maybe he really was kind on the inside and not a total jerk. She looked up at him and gave him a reassuring smile. "Wow Darren, that was really sweet of you to do that. I'm not upset anymore, I promise. So..um..when do you want me to kiss you?" Leann blushed as she said this, because the thought of kissing him seemed weird because he had a girlfriend and all. But then again it wasn't Leanns fault that she had to kiss him.

((It's cool. I do it sometimes too. We just gotta get through it that's all :) ))

Noticing her glance just past him for a moment as she spoke, Darren didn't need to follow her gaze to see who she meant.

"Leann," Darren started, "She knows that it's a game and nothing more." Pointing towards the door out Darren continued, "When I leave that door later on today, she knows that the only lips that will touch mine are hers. She knows that the kisses here mean nothing. That doesn't mean that they can't be fun though." Moving his pointing finger back and brought it to point to his lips, "So, right here, right now is my answer. Are you ready?"

((Did you want me to introduce another guy, Beth? I don't know if there's enough love interests to go around. Noone seems to have latched onto Alex yet... maybe Vera. If you want me to bring in Bryan then I can. He's a couple of years older though, and a head boy prefect though so maybe it's a crush more than a relationship? Otherwise, I have my bad boy character Edward http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs15/f/2007/ ... illian.png (The blond guy) who in my story is evil, but I can tone that down to just a bad boy. He's Alex's twin brother in my story and hates Bryan with passion, but it's one or the other really cause there's no need for both. So- good boy or bad boy or none at all?))

Chris, who had been listening to his handy Megadeth to re-hetero him self, was watching with a keen interest what Leann and Darren were doing. Taking the headphones off, he turned to Cara after they had reconciled. "Huh. That was pretty weird. Darren sure has a way of pissing women off, huh?" he said, instantly realizing the mistake he made. Bringing up the touchy subject was a bad idea, he realized all too late.

((Re-hetro? XD HAHAHAH. Chris is SO homophobic XD BTW- who still needs to spin? I think everyone has had a spin but I should find out before I redo all the spins.))

"He has his moments," Cara responded crossing her arms with a huff as he watch Darren put an emotional bandaid on the situation, "He can be a real mutt of a guy when he wants to be, but there's a loyal friend somewhere in behind all obnoxiousness."

*********************************

((I don't know the extent to how much Phoenix knows this person but I'll assume that they've gambled once or twice and that's it so he knows Artemis name, but not her.))

"It certainly has been a long time, Mr. Wright." Artemis said. "Sorry if I'm not presentable, I didn't bring my umbrella since it wasn't raining when I left home."

A glancing to the new comer, Phoenix raised his brows. He had gambled with this person a few times at the Borscht, but how did they get in without anyone asking him. He had a.... doorman at the moment, right? Glancing about, Kraus and Sarah were busy. Who else knew the doorman. Maybe Zeth? If Zeth knew this woman.... what was her name again... it was so long ago... It was a strange name. To was probably a stage name too. He remembered wondering if it was. What was it. It was something flashy... like a god or something... Athena? No... that was common, Aphrodite... No wait.... Artemis, right?

"A.... Artemis, right?" Phoenix asked, "It was a long time ago. I haven't gambled in a good 6 months now, and I'm sure it was a while before tha that we had a few rounds with each other." Extending a hand, Phoenix adopted a slight smile, not sure if she was here as a friend or foe... or why she suddenly reappeared in his life again, "I'm... not sure why you're here or how you managed to get in, but welcome to my home. I can get a towel for you."

((I think it would be cool to bring in another guy. I think that Leann would probably be more interested in a good guy, because she is pretty well behaved herself. But whoever you want to bring in is fine with me.))

Leann took a deep breath and looked up at Darren. She had thought that she had wanted to play,to be able to finally kiss a guy. But was it really worth it if it wasn't someone she particularly wanted to kiss? But oh well, Leann thought as she readied herself. I have to do this, and it probably won't be so bad. And it's not even meaningful, it's just a game. So it shouldn't really count as a first kiss. "I'm ready Darren." she quietly muttered. Then, she reached up and softly kissed Darren on the lips.

((I revised Artemis' bio to make things a lot clearer. Check the original post again, and you'll see that Phoenix knows a lot more about her than you think. :godot: ))

"The doorman let me in." said Artemis, shaking Phoenix's hand. "And, I think you know why I'm here. After all, you were able to dismantle my illusion."

She blushed slightly, hoping that Phoenix would not reveal the secret he managed to mysteriously force out of her many months ago.

"Anyway, that's neither here nor there." she said, clearing her throat. "A towel will do nicely, thank you."

((Alright. I'll see how introducing Bryan goes then. What everyone in the room will know is that Bryan is the head prefect boy, and he gets great grades at school. He's considered a nice guy at school but he's always been to busy to have a girlfriend with all his studies. I'll put a full bio thing on the first page. Take what you wish for your character to know, but have a reason if it's not general knowledge. I've modified his character alot to retain some of his original personality. IT's gonna be weird but... T.T Bryan is wearing his school uniform cause I can't be assed thinking of a better outfit XD Lets say he was doing prefect duties... on a Saturday. Yeah.... He has the two tone hair btw.))

"I'm ready Darren."

"Alright," Darren replied, moving his hands to her sides, moving in to kiss her also. Darren tilted his head and returned the kiss, being sure to make the kiss enjoyable, but not in an over the top sort of way. It wasn't too bad. He was glad he waited for her to calm down about the kiss. IT was nothing like kissing Nadine though. He knew she REALLY liked him. It was a little disappointing kissing a girl that felt no attraction for him now that he knew what the difference was. It wasn't bad. He guessed that this was what monogamy felt like.

Having a quiet chuckle as the kiss finished at himself, Darren was a little flush, "Heh... I guess a game like this plays out a little differently when you've found a girl who you aren't a second choice to."

************************

Bryan sighed as he stood on the street looking out at the Wright residence with an umbrella over his head. It had taken so long to find out what Alex had got up to this time when he went to pick him up from the rink after practise. He had to, or that guy would've forgotten to go home till it closed at midnight. For some reason though, he made it HERE of all places. He was luckily able to get a phone number to call Darren's parents to find out where he actually was. Mr Daniels didn't know where Alex was. Sometimes Bryan felt like a babysitter to Alex rather than a brother of any sort. Always running after him.

Striding up to the door, he was careful not to step into any puddles on the way. His trousers were already getting wet, but there was no need to make them wet AND muddy. Approaching what looked like a door man, Bryan walked up and gave him a polite smile and nod. A doorman in a suit and tie. Now this was high class for a common door. What was he guarding? WHO was he guarding?

"An unfortunate day to be on door duty, sir. Are you dry here?" Bryan asked, glancing at the door and it's broken frame. It was very apparent why they needed a guard on the door, but this one seemed like an excessively mean looking door guard. His curiosity about the man's story was growing.

"It doesn't bother me," The door guard replied, narrowing his eyes at Bryan's intensely interested expression. Bryan smiled at the response as he noticed a silhoette of a gun in his jacket pocket. He got what he needed to know. This man was well over paid to make sure something, or someone in this house was perfectly protected. Whether this was a drug ring or a Police protection... or something else was another story.

"All right," Bryan nodded, tapping his umbrella on the ground a few times to shake off the water on it, "My younger brother Alex Daniels is inside. I'd like to go inside and get him."

"Hmmm..." The doorman pulled out a cell phone from his pocket and dialled a speed dial tone. The cell phone barely reached his ear when he seemed to get an answer, "Kid at the door. Says he knows an Alex Daniels.... Yeah, White American, late teens, blond hair yellow eyed... Yeah, didn't think I remembered a kid that looked like him."

"Wait!" Bryan raised his hands to protest, "He's my adopted brother- not a biological one! He has brown hair and hazel eyes. His friend Darren is here also. He's got red hair and green eyes."

The doorman paused, and looked at Bryan for a moment. Closing his cell phone, he motioned in the door with his thumb, "You're lucky, you've missed all the action."

"Missed the action?" Bryan asked in intrigue.

"You don't want to know," He replied with a slight grimace motioning to the door once more, "You better get in before you attract any attention to this house.

"Right," Bryan grinned, stepping inside and removing his shoes. Putting his shoes and umbrella aside, Bryan followed the noise to a large room FILLED with teenagers. Well, that definitely ruled out drug lords as a suspicious reason for a door man. There was a reason for that man to be there, but he had to find Alex first. Looking around the room he spotted Alex holding onto a girl that looked about his age... She looked kind of familiar. Maybe she was in his year at school? Hugging... that was certainly a change to Alex's normal approach to women. Still standing back, he continued to scan. A few faces he recognised here and there. He heard about Chris' DJ skills through the grapevine. There was that girl that he always saw hanging around Darren. He suspected she liked him, but Darren always needed to fall head first before he could see a girl returning feelings. Who was she... Nadine, wasn't it? Then there was the crazy Cara. He heard all sorts of stories about her. Then to Darren kissing a much younger girl. Urgh.... Jones, if only you KNEW what Nadine was thinking about you. How can you kiss a girl like that in front of her? Some day she will give up and move on.

Deciding to wait for the chaos to wear off, Bryan leaned against the door frame to the room and watch it all pan out. What on EARTH did Darren get his brother into, cause this wasn't the party Alex would normally go to.

((Bryan will hang back for now till W#1fan is back and Alex is free, unless someone wants to 'notice' him.))

((OOPS! Forgot Phoenix >.< ))

Phoenix looked at Artemis with a surprised look for a moment, "So... you're ready now? Well, don't rush it. I'll go get you a towel."

((Phoenix can take a while getting a towel if you need to poke Zeth.))

"I'll keep that in mind." said Artemis. Suddenly, something struck her, and she sighed.

First I forget my umbrella, now I let this slip by. I must be out of it today. Then again, with an opportunity like this at my fingertips, it's been difficult to keep my head in the game. she thought to herself as she made a beeline to Zeth.

"Hang on a minute." she said. "How do you know who I am if we've just met?"

"Hey, Wrighto," Zeth called, "You mind getting my glasses from el Cheerful at the front door?" Lobbing the aviator sunglasses to Phoenix Zeth grinned, "I've had my fun."

Phoenix caught the sunnies and smirked, "You're never going to get sick of calling me that, are you?"

"You're kidding me?" Zeth grinned, "It's my birth right to torment you with that name."

"Heh, coming from the guy who hates his father," Phoenix gave a quick gesture to say he was leaving the room. Zeth smirked, giving him a salute back. Zeth's face dropped to a heavily neutral expression as Phoenix walked out of site. That man had a way of stabbing him. He needed to stop getting close to people. They always started to learn secrets when they did.

"Hang on a minute. How do you know who I am if we've just met?" Raising his eyebrows, Zeth turned to the accusation. Seemed Miss Blind was just slow on the uptake for once and not oblivious. Zeth readopted his knowing smirk, tapping his nose a few times.

"A master never tells his secrets," He responded daringly, straightening out his apron, "But they can have looser lips if they're wearing more suitable clothing."

"Yes, I think I see what you're getting at." said Artemis, looking over Zeth. "I'd ask why you're dressed like that, but I suppose that'd be calling the kettle black." She snickered a little at her own joke, feeling a lot more relaxed than she did when she first arrived.

"So, out of curiosity, how much do you know about me, Mr. Gant?" she inquired.

Zeth grinned secretively. Everyone always got panicky when they found out that he knew strange things about them. The honest truth was that if the truths he did find didn't interest him, he generally stopped there unless he had to interact with them. There's only a certain amount of personal details one can find out before you realise that there is NO way that they'd do anything bad without a new reason for it. This one however was new so she got an extra looking into and boy, she had an interesting family. He wasn't going to play all of his cards at once though. There was no way that looking up criminal records, 'light' detective work, and court records could tell him a whole story. Being a detective did have it's advantages though.

"A bit," Zeth replied, "There's no fun in spoilers though is there, Miss Blind? After all, there is a truth and dare game being run here," Motioning to the lonely bottle on the table, Zeth facial shrugged, "Get me back into my normal clothes and I might slip a spoiler or two."

"Really now?" said Artemis, raising an eyebrow and folding her arms. "And how do you expect me to do that, pray tell? Through a game of Truth or Dare? I'm not sure it works like that."

She then smiled a coy smile. Now things were becoming clear. Zeth's attire was part of a dare. This could prove interesting.

"Alright, I think I get the picture." she said. "I'll play your little game here. But just one spin, alright? And if I can't get you back into your normal clothes, that's your tough luck." In the back of her mind, she was still intent on having chance to talk to Trucy, but one little game couldn't hurt. Right?

"I'm sure that even if it's by proxy that you could get me back into my normal clothes," Zeth said, then motioned to a pile on the corner of a black teeshirt and camo coloured cargo pants, "That's them there. I'm sure you're smart enough to use your imagination with how to get them onto me creatively with this one."

((I better redo the rerolls. Time for a global reset I think. I'll reroll this assuming that Artemis is staying for all the games with the adults. If she's not around for your spin, please don't chose her as the person you spin. You can only spin someone that is ACTUALLY at the table. That's why you get a few options of results. <edit> Redone the rolls. Please check them out. For those that are new, please observe the rules. You pick one of the sets of rolls (Adults game gets 1 person cause it's truth or dare, and teens get 2 options cause their kissing) of the ones given to you. When an adult plays the game, they spin the bottle, and ask the person that they roll 'Truth or dare'. The person responds if they want a truth or dare, then they get it from the spinner. Anything goes- be creative with your dares / truths. Just keep it PG13. With the teens game, you spin the bottle twice, then we have an extra optional dare to spice stuff up. What this is, is they flip a coin and call if they get heads or tails. IF they guess right, they get to chose if they get a dare relating to one of their kisses. IF they get it wrong, they HAVE to do a dare. You get the option if they do a dare willingly or not, or not at all. Please don't auto leap into kisses. Noone like dive bomb kisses. RP it out ;) ))

((Just to clarify. If Artemis is spinning, then the three characters next to her name on the first page are the characters that the spinner can land on, right?))

Artemis' smile grew even wider, and a mischievous twinkle was visible in her mismatched eyes. "Use my imagination, huh?" she said slyly, looking over the apron carefully. "Well, I think I might have an idea. I just need a mannequin, or perhaps another volunteer. Or do you want me to get your clothes back on specifically through the game?"

((That's right. In Artemis' case, she either spins Kristoph, Luna, OR Tiffany. One of the three. Although I suggest that you wait for Nadindi to get back if you want to spin Kristoph or Luna. I don't have a clue what she's doing. She's not replying to any of my facebook messages :( I wish I could put her on hiatus. Just a simple 'MIA- BRB in a week or two is fine T.T And Panda has gone AWOL... Actually, screw it. All your results are AWOL right now thief. Draw the random card. Pick who will bring the most laughs. It doesn't have to be Zeth. You can chose someone else and get them to do a dare as long as they CHOSE dare as what their character wants. It'd kinda be ironic if it's Audrey you get cause she's the one that dressed Zeth up in the apron...))

Zeth narrowed his eyes, trying to figure out what she had planned. Was she being naughty sneaky, or nice sneaky? Who cared, as long as he was back into his own clothes again. He could feel the apron sawing away at his chest every time he moved. And the frills... oh the frills. He HAD to get this off ASAP. That WITCH was there, and there was no way he was adding fuel to her fire. Nothing else mattered.

"Volunteers come a plenty in this game. Just get me back in my clothes. Not inside out, or in any embarrassing condition. I don't care how you do it. It has to be through the game though." Pausing, Zeth smirked slightly, "And I do like a good challenge."

*******************

"So," Phoenix started, stopping by the entranceway beside the door guard offering the sunglasses to the guy's back, "You're the 'Dragon?"

Vaughan glanced to the voice, his eyes then moving to see his sunglasses in Phoenix's hands. Taking his sunglasses from the ex-lawyer, Vaughan slipped them on and smirked slightly, "You have keen ears, Wright. You live up to your old name."

"My old name?" Phoenix smiled back, "Perhaps I can make a better one second time around,"

"Yeah, I heard you were retaking your exam," Vaughan mused, pulling Zeth's glasses out of his pocket, "Kraus is going to be most definitely interested in you when your cards are back on the table. He's had his eye on you for a while now. He has a good eye for talent."

"Oh," Phoenix adopted a dark smile, "Do you mean for Kristoph's case? Now that's a cheeky notion. Have the ex lawyer defend the man that framed him for murder. Yes, the prosecution WILL love that even if they let me get away with it with MY history." Phoenix paused, glancing down the hall, "But then again, he is a man of power. Gant on evidence, him on Prosecution, and myself on defence. If I whole heartedly believed that Kristoph was innocent, then the three of us could mould the court like putty."

"You DO believe he is innocent, don't you?" Vaughan asked, crossing his arms in interest. Phoenix slipped his hands in his pockets, turning back to the doorman with a frown,

"Do you understand justice at all, Dragon?" Phoenix asked harshly, "Do you understand that when you kill a man even when it's not in cold blood that you have still committed a crime? Do you think I would fully defend Kristoph's innocence in court even if he was framed to do it? Kristoph Gavin assaulted Zak Gramarye with a wine bottle to the forehead, killing my adopted daughter's true Father. Do you think that I can simply put that aside and not think about it as I defend his honour?"

"Screw right," Vaughan hissed, "you're dealing with one of the largest crime families in all of America, and you're worried about one stinking shyster in the crap pot of the criminal underworld. Have you even heard of the Abitonara?"

"Yes," Phoenix replied, "Cases involving them use to crop up alot when I was in law. I've done alot of research on them since losing my badge. Intel is limited on the family however."

"You're in luck then," Vaughan grinned, "Guess the unexpecting heir of the Abitonara family name should the big boss kick the bucket tomorrow? I'll give you a hint," Holding up Zeth's glasses and offering it to Phoenix, Vaughan smirked, "You should try having your life bound to a crime family some day, Wright. Then you'll understand what Gavin is going through right now."

Phoenix grabbed the glasses, giving Vaughan an intense look for a moment, "You can't fight fire with fire, Dragon. If Kraus wants me to defend Kristoph then it has to be on my terms, not his, and he better be willing to pay for the price."

"Oh?" Vaughan grinned, "I think Kraus can afford to employ ten of you."

"Please, don't patronise me," Phoenix replied, "If they're going to gamble with my best friend's life then they are going to tell me everything, or nothing at all." Slamming his hand onto the wall beside Vaughan's head, Phoenix narrowed his eyebrows, "The Kristoph I know now may no longer be the same man I knew when I was back in law, but if this battle is greater than that, then I will achieve true justice for both him and the Abitonara. Nothing less."

Vaughan paused, and dipped the sunglasses to look at Phoenix's expression, "I see why both Kraus and the Skunk chose you then, Wright," Vaughan corrected his sunnies, and grinned as he motioned that he was concluding the conversation, "You three are going to get along just fine,"

Relaxing to a slight smile, Phoenix pushed off the wall. As long as they knew what they were getting into with bringing him onto the team. Yes, he will defend Kristoph, but Kristoph will still pay for his crimes like a true man should. Taking out the puppeteer behind his friend however, Phoenix would almost do for free...

((If you want to spin Phoenix, he'll be back in a round.))

"No promises." said Artemis. "After all, this is a bit impromptu. But, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it, yeah?"

With that, she spun the bottle that sat at the table. It spun in a few cycles before pointing to a woman with dark auburn hair wearing a grey dress.

"It seems the gauntlet has fallen to you, kind miss." said Artemis. "Truth or dare?"

"I still don't see why we needed to spend the last fifteen minutes making me up, Truce..." Tascha muttered, wary of the brush waving near her face.

"Because yours got wrecked in the rain on the way here and I like doing makeup and I'm your friend and you're not going to catch a cute boy with your mascara smeared all over your face!" the magician beamed. "There, done!"

Tascha examined Trucy's handiwork in the bathroom mirror. Definitely an improvement... "C'mon, let's go back in, everyone'll be waiting."

The two girls exited the bathroom and headed back into the living room, to see a spin already evidently in progress. Feeling Tascha stop at her side as she took in the sight of Alex hugging a pretty blue-haired girl, she gave her friend a nudge forward.

"Let's go sit down over there and find out what we missed, 'kay?" she whispered, tugging Tascha along to sit down next to Vera.

"He sees something in you that for the life of me, I can not, and he is never wrong."

Klavier's eyes flashed with a sudden rush of anger, not only at what Kraus had just said, but the tone with which he had said it. As diplomatically as Kraus seemed to have been handling the situation thus far, it seemed that he had reached a point at which he had decided that such an approach wasn't working. The content of what he had said, however, was what had affected Klavier the most. It was a dig at his character... an implication that he was less than the good person that Zeth had apparently conveyed to Kraus that he was. It was a combination of a sense of protectiveness over his friend and Klavier's own vanity which started to root a deepening sense of loathing for the man in front of him.

Klavier's sentiments had become all too clear, his jaw tightening and expression hardening as Kraus spoke once more, his voice neutral again. "I hope you understand your position here."

"That I do, Kraus." Klavier folded his arms, his hands white-knuckled in their grip on his upper arms. "Perfectly."

-----

Kristoph inclined his head to Sarah as she took her leave, straightening as his eyes followed her out of the room. An unmitigated sense of concern had taken its place in his esteem of her due to her concerns about her partner. Kristoph certainly wasn't a man to get emotionally invested in many things or many people, and that was for no more complicated reason than that of keeping himself distant and keeping others from being tangled in his affairs.

But times apparently were changing. Humming to himself thoughtfully, Kristoph clasped his hands loosely behind his back and leaned against the wall to quietly watch the room as he awaited either the return of Sarah or Kraus himself.

-----

As Sarah entered the room, Klavier turned, his hardened, barely-under-control expression softening immediately into a smile. He forced his antipathy towards Kraus to one side for the moment in order to focus on her. He noticed how her cheeks were reddened slightly, figuring it to be something that had happened prior to her entrance, or a nervousness at apparently being suddenly summoned in this way. As Kraus said her name in greeting and invited her in with an extended hand, Klavier in turn loosened his folded arms to slip his thumbs back into his pockets in a more relaxed stance.

Not trusting his anger not to give itself away, he kept the smile fixed on his face and said nothing, waiting for Kraus to be the one to offer an explanation.

-----

After having made her polite introduction to the host, Luna immediately ignored Phoenix's response, granting him one more smile before simply looking around the room and taking note of everyone there, spotting a few people that she recognised. Instantly taking Phoenix's seat as he left it, Luna crossed her legs and fixed her eyes on Zeth, who was conversing with a white-haired girl. As soon as she left him in order to speak to the woman that she'd spun, Luna rose from her chair and made her way over to Zeth, a smile playing about her lips.

"Didn't think that was your type, Gant," she said casually. Grinning with a flash of her teeth, Luna tilted her head to the side, her eyes glinting dangerously. She could allow herself to enjoy the moment for a while, knowing that nobody else could see her expression. "Nice dress, though."

As always, Vera was still being quite awkward and her awkwardness rose to a new level when Alex hugged her to calm her down. She returned the hug and took deep breaths for her to calm down. After a while, she decided that since she has to do it, she might as well get it over and done with and try and enjoy it. It'll also help her fulfill her goal of becoming more outgoing.

Vera thought for a moment and took a really deep breath before she pulled away from the hug and looked at Alex in the eye signalling that she's ready to kiss him.

"Sarah," Kraus smiled, offering his hand towards her, "Please join us."

Glancing from Kraus to Klavier, Sarah held back for a moment. Sure, Kraus looked as if he had just had a pleasant day and it was only going to get better now she was in the room, but Klavier's beautiful face was flicking between strained and not. She didn't know what to expect with talking to these two right now. Was Kraus upset at Klavier or not?

After a moment of pause, Sarah put on a smile, and approached the two, taking Kraus' hand. Giving Klavier a courtesy, she tried not to let it bother her. If she needed to worry, it would be made apparent on it's own.

"Kristoph was in good spirits when I left him, Alex," Sarah smiled proudly, "He's just as wonderful as his brother," Giving Klavier a quick glance to catch his eye, Sarah smiled at him, "I can see why you get along with him so well."

"Ah, I had a feeling that he'd enchant you," Kraus smiled lifting her hand up and giving her a twirl on the spot. Sarah gracefully did a turn, before giving him a slight bow as she finished. Kraus broke out into a broad smile, giving her a bow back, "I'm sure the feeling was mutual though." Sarah giggled at how cheerful Kraus was. He was hiding something, that was for sure, but it wasn't something bad- that she was sure of.

"Now," Sarah started, grabbing Kraus' and Klavier's hand each, "Assuming that I'm not going to be accompanied by two handsome men on that bed there, was there any other way that I could help?"

Kraus paused for a moment. Sarah must've felt a little nervous. She couldn't fully tell what his body language meant, and he had dodged the topic for much longer than he normally would've. His broad smile narrowed to a polite smile, glancing aside as he tried to find the words. Normally they came easily but this... this was unusual. Unorthodox. What would she think him brushing her off to another man? That his words didn't mean a thing? That she wasn't every bit as wonderful as he told her every day? Or would she'd think the very worst of him- that he could never be attracted to her at all. This would take some wording.

"Sarah," Kraus began softly, taking her other hand from Klavier so he had her full attention, "there has been a growing concern for me that I wish to rectify. The concern of the physical attention that you deserve from me but have not gotten much of until now. I... don't wish to be half a man for you."

Kraus' grip on Sarah's hands almost completely disappeared as for the first time ever, as his eyes glazed past her in shame. Sarah's eyes flashed wide at his sudden change of character. What brought this on? She... didn't think that Kraus had a vulnerable side. He looked so alone all of a sudden, and confused.

"Ha... half a man?" Sarah stuttered, her cheeks turning a shade of pink, "I don't understand. Our relationship is a mutual decision. Www... why is.... Klavier here?"

"Because...." Kraus looked back into Sarah's eyes, "No matter how much I love you, our situation will never improve, and you deserve so much more than that."

Sarah stood stunned, looking into Kraus' blue eyes. The same blue eyes that looked upon her with so much love and respect. One day she hoped that those same eyes would look upon her with a new devotion when a stress in his life was fixed, or she said something that would change his world and break past that barrier that held him back from her.... That day will never come? But, he loved her also. Did he want to have an affair? Did he have a medical issue that cancelled out his libido? Was he coming out of the closet?!

Glancing at Klavier, Sarah hoped he knew what was going on cause she didn't. They had to have discussed this together before she got in.

**************************

"Didn't think that was your type, Gant," Luna said casually, "Nice dress, though."
"She's not," Zeth replied instinctively, "And it was a dare. I wont be wearing it for much longer so don't get use to it." Suddenly adopting an intrigued look though, Zeth looped his thumbs into the apron ties, "What I'd like to know is how you hide that inner b@#$h inside of you from the Dragon? He is no man's fool. Surely he's seen your dark side by now, Witch?"

**************************

"I'll leave you to your job though," Phoenix nodded, "Give Zeth a buzz if you need anything like food or a drink and I'll bring some to you. I'm sure even a man of your calibre gets hungry after a while."

"Don't you worry," Vaughan smirked, "When that repair man gets here and repairs the door, I'll be the first to suggest some JD on the rocks."

"It's on the house if you can beat me at poker," Phoenix grinned, giving Vaughan a wave as he left the conversation, "Good luck with that though!"

"Pah!" Vaughan laughed, "You're on!"

Laughing as he walked down the hall and into the kitchen, Phoenix saw that the bottle had just been respun. Deciding to rejoin the game, Phoenix walked up to Kristoph and stood beside him.

"You have some interesting friends now days, Kristoph."

**************************************

Alex gave Vera a silent nod, bending down to her lips. Pausing before they touched, Alex whispered, "Don't worry, I'm pretty new at this myself. We're both learning." Deciding to make the task a little easier for her, Alex gently pressed his lips to hers, hoping to not frighten her any further.

Chris was sitting with his iPod out, an eye on Darren kissing Leann, and the other on his songs. He wondered absently what effect this would have on Nadine and Darren's relationship, with the two kissing other people, and by extension, his and Cara's. This reflection was rather brief, however, as he found the song he was looking for and selected it. An upbeat jam he'd made one day after school with a good friend of his.

Looking up from the device, he noticed a dude standing by the door. Although he did not know this particular dude, he decided to invite him to the circle so he wouldn't feel alienated. "Hey, dude!" he called out. "Are you here for the game?"

((Chase- unless Chris doesn't pay attention at school, he'd know Bryan. He's one of the head Prefects :) Dude works as a term to address anyone though. He just may not care about him enough to remember his name.))

"Hm?" Glancing to the voice, Bryan noticed one of the teens looking at him. Well, he DID look kind of silly just standing there while... This was for a game? W... Well, that made sense then. Why else would Alex be kissing a girl, and Darren be... awkward? Usually he was all for kissing girls.

"I guess," Bryan responded, walking up to the teen with the DJ get up and sitting down, "Spin the bottle I take it?" Glancing about the group, he didn't recognise many. There was too many students at his school to remember the names to everyone his own age let alone younger ones. Darren he was familiar with being Alex's best friend, Cara and Nadine, two of the Legionair's cheerleaders. He recognised a few other faces from around the school- not the girl with the blue hair though. She looked around his age but he was sure he'd remember a girl that looked like that at his school. He was starting to get vague memories about posters of a DJ that looked like the guy sitting beside him. It was a slightly awkward situation, but could've been worse.

((Remembering that Vera never left her house till after the case in Apollo Justice with the paintings. I'd assume she was home schooled. I... don't know what age she is in this game though. She's 19 in the game so we could pretend she's a little younger so it's not weird that she's in the teens game))
