What do you think of magic? I mean stuff like Penn & Teller, those stage magicians with their sleight of hand and tricks that you can't seem to figure out that make you gasp.

Like the reincarnation of Jesus, Dynamo, who walks on water. On the Thames. I can only imagine his morning:

"What shall I do today? Hmm... I know, I'll be Jesus!"

My favourite magician of all time is Teller. Never speaks, just lets his companion do all the speaking, then he'll do a majority of the tricks and shock you all. He's awesome 8D

I used to impress my peers at school by doing simple coin tricks hahaha. It used to blow their minds.

I have lost intrest in it now though, maybe when I have kids I can impress them with my little tricks hehe.

I should try that, but knowing my luck it would fail.

Everyone loves Magical Trevor, cause the trick that he does are ever so clever.
On April 3, 2016, Court Records Forums experienced a miracle upon that day.

Magic is something great, until you get to learn the magical trick.
Howevery, everthing involving supernatural stuff is hocus shmocus to me.

I was watching TV's 50 Greatest Magic Trick and everyone had figured out the tricks and I was sitting there screaming "WUT?!". What impressed me was Derren Brown. It may or may not be magic in some people's eyes, but in Russian Roulette when he actually got the gun and almost shot himself.

No need to write in epic capslock size, dear sir. O_o
I mighta use any other meme from any other source, just this one at that moment pleased me the most.

Oh and, your post is more offtopic than any of the posts beforehand yours, since you didn´t even provide anything at all to the topic at hand. :gregory:

For the record:
I can´t think of anything new regarding the topic, since I´ll remain by my opinion and stuff.

Off-topic: I've already stated my magic preferences.

Okay, everyone, lets calm down. No use gettin' mad over the ponies.

Derren brown, I agree, is my favourite magician. It's not direct magic, but rather the power of suggestion and how when people are put in certain situations will react in different ways. There was one trick I was particularly interested in. He took a woman into a room with a Kitten in a glass box and told her if she pushed a button next to the box, the kitten would get electrocuted and die.

He kept repeating to her; 'Do not push the button', and by repeating this phrase it made her wonder what would happen if she DID push the button. Would the Kitten really die? To further enhance this he took her back to childhood by having her draw pictures with crayons and giving her squash to drink, and calling her by her childhood nickname. This subconsciously made her feel more mischievous, and eventually, she did push the button.

However, the kitten didn't die. They wouldn't allow a Kitten being electrocuted to be aired on TV.

I shall ignore the pony comments. Anyway, I like Penn and Teller, and Criss Angel is so-so. Has anyone heard of Marvin Berglas? He's created several magic kits.

Nope. Never heard of.

That's cool! I would probably press the button whatever age I am because I'm always curious.

If you're interested it was part of his 'Trick or Treat' series that run a few years back. He did some other ones as well, but that one stays in my head the most.

He also did a trick that blew my mind, he made a man 'scan' books by making him reach out his pinky and index finger and move them from the top of the page, all the way down to the bottom. He made him do it with loads of books, he got through a couple of hundred in a few months. And then when Derren asked him questions, he somehow had retained all of the knowledge he had 'scanned' for the last 3 months and could answer most questions that he had no previous knowledge of before. Then he entered a Pub Quiz by himself and came second against 20 Pub Quiz world champions. It was really strange and I had a hard time believing it.

Did he scan them with his laser face? :godot:

Also, concerning the :shoe: , was it really electrocuted, or was the woman told that to get her to press the button?
