Yeah it was all going well, then I just had one of those "...Ah -_-" moments.
I probably wouldn't have to rewrite the whole thing, I think I just need to go back a bit and find some way to justify the contradictions, possibly by introducing new evidence or something.
Oh, by "dumb parts" I meant illogical parts that wouldn't be overlooked in a real court.

I've done a lot of note making and I think I've now cleared my writer's block and worked around the wall that momentarily stopped my progress. Some parts still sound a tad iffy but I'll try and iron those out in the scripting process.
It's just a matter of putting it all together smoothly now.

By the way, with the newest version of PyWright, using an "{eblahblah}" will crash the game if blahblah doesn't exist. However, using e=blahblah will allow you to skip through it ;)

Case 2 Progress (AS OF 17/11/11)
Plot = 100%
Script = 100%
New sprites = 100%
Backgrounds = 100%
Music = 100%
Progress towards completed case = 99%
Current status: Beta-testing (and making some tweaks here and there)
If I'm VERY lucky, it could be ready by today. If not, then another few days at the most. But from tomorrow my life will most likely be consumed by Saints Row The Third (as it comes out in England tomorrow).

The news that it might be ready today/tomorrow/a few days is fantastic, Cardy! It feels like it hasn't been quite a while since the last release, and although the trial session is a tiny bit sketchy, I still remember a lot of the details, especially from the investigation. It'll be great to finally see what the mystery behind Maplethorpe is along with meeting Mr. Ghost Hunter, and of course, finding out the identity of this 'ghost'... ^^

IMPORTANT: As before, you need Turnabout Scapegoat already installed to run this case. Unzip the .rar to the PW - Contempt of Court folder, replacing all files and folders.

News regarding Case 3
I already posted this on my main post, but I might as well put it here too:
OK I admit that apart from the main antagonist and the backstory, I have nothing story-wise planned for this chapter. Now I've finished The Haunted Turnabout I'm taking a lengthy break from fangames. I don't know what it is, I just don't enjoy it as much as I used to. It might be down to the fact that now I've started uni and I hardly have the time to work on the project anymore, but I genuinely got stressed out a lot while making Case 2.
So yeah, Case 3 isn't happening as of yet. Not exactly "abandoned for good", just "abandoned for now".

Well, fangames are already kind of illegal, since we're still using the Ace Attorney name without Capcom's permission. Capcom hasn't really expressed any interest in shutting them down before, so I imagine that the only thing that would change is that the websites we get the fangames from would be gone (or rather, just harder to access).

Looks like it needs refreshing. Sometimes YouTube opens up to me looking like that, and I have to refresh it a few times until it looks normal again.
