I think I've improved somewhat since my last post here. I return due to all the Phoenix hype of him being in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.

Some of my latest art, usually fan art of other things. For example, these two are from a game called Arcana Heart 3, they're similar to Kay in that they are shinobi-ish.

Another with characters from said game.

A random roster of characters of my own design for a story I'm writing/drawing/planning out.

These were my last Ace Attorney fan arts, which are several weeks old already. Haven't done any fan art for it since then. My latest art has been different.

Here are some drawings pre-now era, but far after the last time I was here. Some are
fan arts, and some are my own designs.

My smoothest linework:

High res versions of characters from that roster I showed earlier. You'll notice that
viewing the individual characters art will reveal that its at a higher resolution.

Here's my previous thread. It's been over a year since I last posted in it I believe:

How would you compare my art of now to that of the past?

Well, it's difficult to compare unfinished art to something that's more finished or completely finished. It's looking good though :)

Wow. That is a lot of art. XD I really like your painterly coloring style! It's a skill that I wish I had, but don't. Definitely keep it up and continue to hone your skills! :D

Arkillian: X D That "unfinished" art was actually my limit then, lol. I couldn't go beyond that without suffering mental pain and even passing that, without spending 5 hours to get something good{what's scary is that the edgeworth x kay line art from the previous thread took me a few hours, while the new lineart of them took only about an hour! Frightening! I could spend hours on something before and never gotten past the line art form, and even if they color form was reached, it would be unimpressive, yet now, in only two hours or even less, I can have a full illustration with hues and shades. :edgeworth: Eureka! It's a miracle!

Popo-licious: Thank you! X D I didn't have that skill either last year. Every time I tried to paint or do anything in colors, I would just get horrible blobs or flat images. I never ever thought I would pass my previous limits and get to this level. What's ironic is that the last image I posted in my other thread took nearly all my energy before I lost motivation to further it. Now I can do full illustrations with lineart and colors and still have only used up 1/3 of my art energy on a finished piece. {Really! To think! Just last year! A simple pencil drawing that hadn't even reached line art level took out practically 95% of my artistic energies! WORD!}

Remarkable! :edgeworth: I feel like I'll be able to go even further.

I like the second one better- the expression change is a bit fast on the first one. The drill animation amuses me though ^^

Arkillian: Thanks. In the drill animation, the knight is getting their hand burned before the drill twirl. I messed up on how long the frames would last in seconds. lol

++++++

Here's some new art.

Thanks, yes, the manfred pic, I tried to capture his personality in the art. :karma: :franny:

Here is Kay as Misao versus Maya as Kaoru. Ace Attorney characters with Rurouni Kenshin fighting ability.

Doesn't anybody else think there's parallels between these series? :}

I finally got around to drawing this, after seeing it in my mind around the time of GK2's announcement. The announcement of GK5 really inspired me to draw this since it takes place near the future timeline anyway. :keiko:

What do you think? Does Edgeworth have a mansion or big house like that by the way? I think he does. What do you think of future Kay?

Edgeworth future design is gonna be epic.

Like her dress a lot. The Steel Samurai fountain was a nice touch too.

Spoiler: random critique
Perspective on the house in the first frame is a bit off.

Mini-Edgeworth seems rather too short (and spoiled - from where I sit, he needs to have some manners spanked into him :yogi: )

Read my fic(s)!

KingRaptor: Thanks! Glad you liked the dress, I think it gives an elegant impression of her future self while still retaining her base personality. The steel samurai fountain is something I think Edgeworth would eventually add to his yard being such a big fan of the show.

Yeah, I definately need to work on my perspective. Thanks for pointing that out. Eventually, I hope to get it right without the use of references.

Yeah, Mini-edgeworth is probably too short, and I blame the attitude from the influence of "Aunt Von Karma". :franny: She most likely visits often.
