Alex glanced between Pearls and Maya, and back and forth for a moment, a slightly horrified as he did the math in his head. He hadn't thought about it till now, but wasn't Trucy's father just a LITTLE young to have a daughter so... well, she wasn't old, but she wasn't a kid either. Now this girl runs into the house broadcasting that he's has something going on with a girl in her 20s? Surely this family was insane. This new girl couldn't be more than 10 years older than Trucy herself.

And what... PRACTICE daughter?!

"RIIiiiight," Alex replied, holding back the thoughts in his mind from escaping. There had to be a legit reason why this girl had some strange fantasy that kimono girl and Trucy's father were somehow an item. Women did silly things like that. Specially teenaged girls. Damn, they could be annoying with their ideas sometimes.

Backing away as the two they left, Alex gave a 'What the heck was that all about?' expression for a moment before turning back to Tascha.

"Knee... injury... I think I know something about that..." Trying to shake off the sudden interruption and departure of the wonder twins, Alex held back his floppy brown hair with hid hand and contemplated his memory for the moment. Where had he seen her before? That story? Then it hit him. He hadn't recognised her immediately without the stage make up and the cute skater girl dresses that the juniors use to wear a few years back. She had grown up so much since she competed back then. He barely noticed the change until just now.

"Diamond Dancer!" Alex suddenly blurt out, "You're the Diamond Dancer, aren't you? I nearly didn't recognise you with..." So many clothes on? That wasn't the right thing to say. Shutting up before he said something stupid, a red hue flushed across Alex's cheeks as he glanced aside.

((Sorry- I figure that if she's THAT good, she'd have a stage nick name, and Diamnod dancer sounded good. I hope that's cool. If you have something better, I'll edit it in.))

"Believe me, Mystic Maya. I'm just as confused." said Pearl as she led her cousin to the kitchen. "But hopefully Mr. Nick can clear things up."

When they arrived in the kitchen, she spotted a whole slew of people that she didn't recognize. Wasn't this Trucy's party? What were all of these adults doing here?

"I really, really hope he can clear things up. This was just supposed to be a simple visit." she sighed. "We should hurry up and find him before things get even more confusing, Mystic Maya."

"Yeah...", Maya agreed. It wasn't that she had a problem with a bunch of people around: it was more that she had NO idea how she was gonna find her long-time-not-seen friend in a huge crowd like this.

... Then again, he would probably be able to recognize her voice if he called her. And if not, he'd surely remember that there weren't many girls who called her by his nickname: "Nick".

"Hey Nick!", she called out, not seeming concerned about the possiblity that people were probably stare, "Nick! Where are ya?"

Leann felt her cheeks blush with the red heat of embarrassment when Darren and the others walked in on her and Bryans kiss. It had only lasted for a moment, but yet, something about it had felt so right. Comforting, reassuring, like the fact that he was equally as nervous as her helped her to feel relaxed. After the little altercation, when Bryan had once again pressed his soft lips to hers, that was when she felt the magic. Her stomach felt warm and excited, like there were a thousand fireworks going off all at once. The kiss was perfect: sweet and sincere, not too forceful or intimidating. It seemed to last for a while, and the feelings were starting to ramp up inside of her. Without thinking about it, she felt herself kissing him back harder. She finally had to push away to catch her breath. It was the most exhilarating thing that she had ever done, kissing a boy that she had just met 10 minutes ago. As she caught her breath, she looked him straight in the eye and she smiled at him. Once more, the embarrassment came flooding back to her.
"I..er..I'm sorry if that was too much. I got a little carried away. But..don't get the wrong idea or anything. I don't normally do stuff like this." She stopped and took another deep breath, unsure of what he would say in reply.

Feeling a slight flush over his face as she pulled away, Bryan hadn't expected her to turn up the notch on him so suddenly. He was expecting her to carry on being shy and for him to do all the work. Having her return the kiss like that took him by surprise.

"N...no," Bryan responded softly, "It's fine. It's all part of the game, right?" Brushing off his surprise, Bryan readopted a smile, helping her to an upright, "I'll take it as a sign that it didn't turn out so awkward in the end." Glancing around, Bryan looked to Darren and Chris at the door post taunt. Darren's armed were crossed with a slightly agitated sulk on his face. Not such an unusual pose for that guy. Perhaps he thought that he was incapable of kissing a girl and her liking it?

"Well, she didn't turn into a frog," Darren suddenly stated, tilting his head to the side, slinging an arm over Chris' shoulder, "You still lack the natural talent that SOME men have to entice the ladies however," dusting his knuckles across his chest a few times with a cocky expression, Darren grinned, "Not all of us need to be Head Prefect boys to satisfy the ladies."

Bryan groaned, rolling his eyes. Darren and him were always at ends with eachother... well... Darren hated him. Bryan really didn't care much for Darren and his attitude. He was tolerable before he became the head prefect, but as soon as his position was announced, suddenly Darren became a raging jealous ball of flames that no amount of ignoring could put out. He honestly didn't know what to do with the guy. What would it take for him to stop being an ass to him? It's not as if he hated Darren. Darren was a cool guy when he wasn't getting all worked up over little things like how good his grades were in comparison to him, and how he was good at sports despite all of this, how girls had always liked him.... Darren had alot of good qualities that he admired. Most of them were overlooked cause of his loud personality though. He wished he could tell him, but that's just who Darren was. Loud and full of energy and heart. It's why he had so many close friends while Bryan didn't.

Glancing back to Leann, Bryan helped her off the bed, and turned to the door, "I suppose I should find that girl I spun and kiss her nex..." Stopping before he finished the sentence, the kiss with Leann flashed by his mind. Putting the side of his index finger over his lips, he put the thought aside. The kiss was nice, but that was that over and done with. This game wasn't about chemistry. It was about kissing. He was going to do FAR more kisses than that this afternoon. Looking up, Bryan adopted a serious expression, "Well, I'm ready for my second kiss."


From outside of the room, Alex heard Bryan announce that he had finished the kiss. Tensing his muscles for a moment defensively, Alex couldn't figure out why there was no panic in Bryan's voice at all. He was going to kiss his BROTHER. How could he not be panicky about that? Or perhaps it wasn't a big deal to him? Or he was just trying to play cool about it? Jerk. He could atleast have the decency to make him not feel like an over reacting child. Turning to Tascha, Alex was pretty miffed.

"Look, you don't have to watch, but I've got to kiss Bryan now so..." Glancing aside as he said this, Alex's sentence trailed off to nothing before he turned to the door and stormed towards it. He was probably just putting on the cool show for Darren and didn't want to do it. Well, he could be cool too, and he knew Bryan didnt' want to kiss him so... he might have to initiate the kiss to get the damn thing over and done with. A quick kiss was a good kiss. On the bed? Why of earth did this sort of thing always happen to Bryan? Why can't the girls tease a guy that'd appreciate it... like Darren? Urgh...

"Hey Nick! Nick! Where are ya?" Snapping away from the conversation, Phoenix glanced around to see the owner of the voice. It couldn't be her... right? Not today. Well, there was no reason why it couldn't be today, but why shouldn't it be another day? When there wasn't 30 people in his house? That way they could really catch up... why not any day but today?"

"Maya?" Phoenix called out, turning away from the group, "I'm over here! Where are yo..." Spotting Maya in a pretty kimono, Phoenix paused in his tracks. She had really grown to be an attractive woman in the last 7 years since he saw her last. Now look at her- all dressed like a true master of Kurain. He was so use to seeing her dressed down to a yukata. She was so much more mature looking now all in her kimono. He never expected that crazy burger loving girl to become... this!

((I think Phoenix happens to be wearing his suit, but he has stubble and the suit is tight on him. he's going to get a new one when he gets back into law :) ))

"Aw, look Mystic Maya! He's speechless!" said Pearl, a big smile on her face. "Mystic Maya and I decided to surprise you, Mr. Nick. But, I think we were the ones who were surprised. What exactly is going on here? Someone out in the hall said that your practice daughter was throwing some sort of party."

She was a bit unsure if Phoenix would recognize her with her longer hair or not. It had been a long time since they last spoke, and many things have changed. But whatever the case, she was very happy to see him again.

After Bryan had told her he was ready for his second kiss, Leann tried to smile at him but it probably came across as something awkward. She had really given into the heat of the moment, and for a moment, she had felt like it was real. Even though they would not have been kissing were it not for the game, Leann still felt a bit dismissed. She knew that they didn't even know each other, but all she could think about was kissing him again. The thought of how he felt about the kiss was the only thing bouncing around in her head right now. She wanted to say something, but she didn't want to come across as desperate. She took a deep breath and forced a more believable smile on her face.
"Hope it's not too awkward for you. Once you get it over with, everything will be okay. Sort of like our kiss. Except..um..I'll just see you back out there." she muttered this and started to exit the bedroom, upset she had let the nerves of speaking to him get to her.

Raising his eye brows as Leann turned around and scooted off to the door desperately, Bryan wondered if he was a little to cavalier about that kiss. One kiss was by no means the basis of a relationship with a guy, but perhaps it meant a little more than a flustered moment to her? Should he have been a bit more like Darren and talked up the kiss? No, that wasn't something he do. There was no way he was interested in entertaining a arm full of girls for the rest of the night. It was best to play it cool and not get worked up about it. It's not as if any of these girls were interested in him for anything other than kissing. It's just a game. Perhaps it was time to... enjoy it a bit more though. Where was that girl has had to kiss next?

Glancing over to Chris, Bryan facial shrugged, "Where's that girl I need to kiss next? I didn't get to have a good look at her."

Noticing Leann leave the room with a suddenly upset face, Alex got temporarily distracted from his conversation with Tascha. Wasn't she the girl that was suppose to be kissing Bryan before he was? Why was she upset? Feeling his brows furrow, Alex signalled to Leann to go over to him.

"Leann! Over here!" Alex signalled. If Bryan upset her, he was going to get SO angry with him. That guy had NO right to barge in on this game and upset all the girls like this.

Still dumbfounded as another pretty girl, one slightly older than his daughter Trucy stepped into view calling her by a familiar title. Gears turning in his headfinally cranking around back to full speed, Phoenix suddenly burst out into a shy laugh as he realised who the second girl in front of him was.

"Pearl!" Phoenix grinned, finally approaching the two, "Both of you have grown so much! I barely recognise the two of you! Although..." Motioning to Pearls' hair, Phoenix grinned, "I should've recognised other aspects about you." Grinning, Phoenix gave both Peals and Maya a big hug, hoping that they hadn't both matured past the point of liking hugs from a man that people were now starting to call 'old'.

"It's just a party Trucy decided to have for fun," Phoenix said glancing around, "The rest of the adults? I HONESTLY don't know why they all decided today was the day to visit me. I don't even know some of these people." Bursting out into another laugh, Phoenix couldn't believe his day. This was one crazy party. Leave it to Trucy to organise a get together THIS BIG.

((Guys, I am SO sorry to have been holding up RP, this last week has been crazy busy for me DX I should probably warn that with exam season coming up, I may be less active- but I will be posting a minimum of once a week so I don't get too out of the loop~))

Tascha blinked in genuine surprise as Alex came out with her old skating name- there was something she hadn't been called in a LONG time.

"...without the short skirt and sparkles on my face?" she grinned, guessing from the blush that he had been thinking a similar thing but didn't want to offend her by saying it. Her Diamond Dancer outfits hadn't exactly been conservative, a far cry from her ordinary outfit of skirt and jumper this evening... how did he still recognise her? She'd been far smaller and blonder aged twelve, not to mention all the makeup and glitter.

"When did you see me skate? It must've been a while back... And how did you recognise me?" A wide smile spread across Tascha's face. It was good to finally talk about her skating- after her accident, she'd tried to put the Diamond Dancer behind her as much as she could.

"He's been holding back on me... why? Did I do something wrong?"

Klavier felt a brief, irrational spasm of anger at Kraus. Sarah was clearly in love with him and he with her, but if he had known from the beginning (and Klavier had to assume he had known) that he would never be able to fully let her in, why put them both through the pain? And why even suggest that Klavier would be able to fill that gap in Sarah's life?

Reaching out, Klavier tilted Sarah's chin up in order to look her more closely in the eye.

"I don't believe it is anything you have done, Fräulein Sarah- in fact if anything, I think the reasoning lies with Herr Kraus. I can make an educated guess myself, but I would rather have his confirmation, and so probably would you. Before we give any further thought to his proposal, I think we both deserve to know his motivation..."

Although Sarah was beautiful and clearly attracted to him, Klavier didn't feel he could get tangled in any kind of liaisons with her until they both knew why it was necessary...unusual caution perhaps but looking at her tears, he had no wish to add to them.

Tiffany couldn't help but permit herself a small smile as Kraus avoided her question with characteristic charm. It was likely that she would never find out why he had suddenly decided to come tonight but her own personal reasoning behind why he had agreed to participate in such a game once arrived was that Alexander Kraus, like Tiffany herself, enjoyed a challenge. Perhaps it was something that came with the profession- she guessed that Zeth would also be partial to the game.

"Would you like to join in, Tiffany?"

Phoenix's question interrupted Tiffany's musings and she paused to consider. Trucy did not seem to be anywhere around and with such a interesting group of players, why not?

"I would be delighted, Phoenix," she replied. "It promises to be... interesting, to say the very least."

"When did you see me skate? It must've been a while back... And how did you recognise me?" Seeing her face light up like a Christmas tree, Alex could tell how much she missed competitive skating. It didn't surprise him. When he considered how he'd be without the kiss of frost against his cheek he felt his whole body reject the idea as it'd freeze up like a plank of wood. He had to live in the now. Anticipating an injury was like inviting one to come and get you.

"Your story..." Alex said softly, "The guys in my old hockey team and I use to turn up early for our practises so we could watch the junior figure skating from the bleaches. You didn't practise with them of course since you were a higher grade, but I heard about your talent from there so I decided to turn up to some of your competitions and watch." Adopting a slight smile, Alex met eyes with her, putting his hands into his pockets casually, "You had the form of a professional, but there was an honesty in your movements that you don't see in the adults." Pausing, Alex glanced aside thoughtfully, "I don't think I ever told to anyone that I was a fan though. I guess that if I said anything they probably would've though that I had a..."

Sitting down on the bed suddenly, and grabbing Phoenix's pillow, Sarah clung onto it tightly, as she tried to make sense of what Klavier was saying. He honestly said she was beautiful to her all the time. Why would he have an affair with another woman when she was there right on his door step begging for attention? It's not as if she was un attractive. Was she just not attractive to him?

"Cou... Could you talk to him?" Sarah asked, wiping the tears from her face, "I don't want Alex to see me like this. No matter how he feels about me, I know that it will hurt him to see me like this."

"Excellent!" Kraus beamed, playing host as he saw Phoenix become distracted by new guests, "Would you like to spin first? The game is fairly simple. You spin the bottle, and who ever it points to gets to do a dare, or tell a truth about something of your chosing."

Picking up the bottle, Kraus motioned to it cheerfully.

((Remembering she can't spin anyone not at the table. Who is at the table besides Zeth, Tiffany, and Kraus? Perhaps Klavier might sneak a round in while he's there? He's on her list :) ))

Maya was so overjoyed, she hadn't said anything as Nick had said all he'd said. Her smile was so big, she could barely hold it shut. As he hugged her, she'd hugged him back. It was nice to see him again...

As he let go, she did to, and replied to Nick's comment: "You're daughter set all this insanity up?" She chuckled as she looked at him smugly, and said lightheartedly, "She's a Wright, alright!"

Pearl was caught off-guard by Phoenix's hug, but quickly got over it. She was just glad that he recognized them, even after all this time.

"It's so good to see you again, Mr. Nick." she said happily after he explained what was going on. "It certainly has been quite a long time." She then took a look around. "Wow. I still can't believe your practice daughter organized all of this. She must have a lot of friends."

She then fell silent, her face turning slightly red. There was so much to talk about, and she didn't know where to start. Besides, she didn't want to interrupt Mr. Nick's time with his "special someone".

As soon as Leann left the bedroom, she heard someone calling out to her. She thought for one moment that it might be Bryan, but when she turned around she realized that it was just Alex. She was a bit surprised that he wanted to talk to her, seeing as how she didn't really know him that well. But seeing what she had of him, he seemed like a nice enough guy. She slowly walked over to him, trying to mask the slight hurt she felt from her encounter with Bryan. "Hey Alex. What's up?" she said as she put a smile on her face, hoping that it would mask whatever it was that was she feeling regarding Bryan.

"It's so good to see you again, Mr. Nick. It certainly has been quite a long time. Wow. I still can't believe your practice daughter organized all of this. She must have a lot of friends." Phoenix paused at the 'practise daughter' comment. How did Pearls find out that Trucy wasn't his daughter? And wasn't that a... strange term to call her by?

"She does," Phoenix smiled, "Trucy is a little ray of sunshine. I don't know a single person that has anything bad to say about her," Pausing to adopt a proud grin, his eyes lit up at talking about his daughter, "She's organised this gathering over the last week. It sounded like such a great idea. Alot of her friends are very shy. She wants to build up their confidence."

"You're daughter set all this insanity up? She's a Wright, alright!"

Phoenix glanced towards the lounge door as Maya said this. He had to admit, he didn't hear any noises in there. He assumed that the kids were somewhere else n the house. Perhaps it seemed like a larger party than it was because of this?

"Not all of it," Phoenix admitted, "It was suppose to be just Trucy and her friends at school playing spin the bottle. I was going to do some study here in the kitchen but suddenly everyone I know has turned up wit their friends." Adopting a chuckle, Phoenix still couldn't believe his day. Finishing his laugh, Phoenix grinned, "I had so many visitors thought, why not have my own game. Did you want to join in, Maya? It's Truth or Dare."

"You are," Alex replied frankly, not leaving Tascha's side as he crossed his arms, "You were looking upset just now. Did Bryan act like a jerk to you just now?"

At Phoenix's offer, she balled up her hand, and held it to her chin, looking upward in thought, and said, "... Depends."

She calmly looked at her little cousin and said with a smile, "Hey Pearly, wanna go play with Nick's daughter and her friends? It seems like they have their own game going on, if you want to join..."

As much as she would've loved to smuglyjust say she'd join and threaten playfully to be harsh with whatever was chosen, but she wasn't going to let Pearly play alone if she was to go play whatever game it was with the other kids without her.

Pearl thought for a moment, and then nodded. "Okay, Mystic Maya. I won't interrupt your time with Mr. Nick." She then bowed to Phoenix. "Maybe we can catch up some other time, Mr. Nick. I guess I'll see you later."

She then skipped off back to the hallway. When she arrived, she noticed Alex talking to Leann about something, and decided to wait patiently to ask if she could join the game.

"You've been awfully quiet, Ms. Lincolns." said Artemis. "Are you alright?"

"Seems like someone's embarrassed about her connections to the Skunk." said Claves with a slight chuckle. "Look, it's alright. I'm not gonna force it out of you. Unless you have to tell the truth on my spin, that is." She concluded by giving Audrey a friendly wink.

She watched Pearly leave, relieved it went over so easily. "Have fun!", she called out to her, almost like a parent or something, "And if any of the kids give you any problems, you know who to call!"

She looked back at Phoenix with a mile-wide grin. "So... where's that daughter of yours?", she asked, clasping her open hands together. "You KNOW I gotta see the formerly inconceivable before I start this game!"

Leann was surprised that Alex wanted to know about her and Bryan. He seemed like a nice enough guy, but she didn't really know him. She was debating whether or not to tell him what she was feeling, when her emotions gave in and she just spilled everything. "It's just, I know that spin the bottle is a game, and the kisses mean nothing, but I kind of like Bryan. And when we finished our kiss, it felt like he just..dismissed me. I don't know how to feel about it, that's all." Leann took a deep breath once she had finished and realized that she felt instantly better. Maybe Alex and her could be friends, she thought as she waited for a reply.


Audrey woke up from the dreamlike state she had been in when Claves mentioned the skunk. Everything that had happened that night involving Zeth was so crazy and confusing to her that she didn't know what to make of it. She realized that she was being rude, so she finally replied. "Oh yeah, I know the skunk. Well, as much as he let's a person know. He's definitely not very willing to open up to anyone." she wished that he was, and realized that someone else's input might help to put things into perspective for her.

"Hey Pearly, wanna go play with Nick's daughter and her friends? It seems like they have their own game going on, if you want to join..."

"Okay, Mystic Maya. I won't interrupt your time with Mr. Nick. Maybe we can catch up some other time, Mr. Nick. I guess I'll see you later."

"Sure!" Phoenix grinned, watching Pearls skip off happily. Little Pearls hadn't changed that much over the years! Except... she wasn't so little anymore.

"Have fun! And if any of the kids give you any problems, you know who to call!" Turning to Maya, as she turned to him, Phoenix could tell by the glint in her eye that she was about to cause mischief. "So... where's that daughter of yours? You KNOW I gotta see the formerly inconceivable before I start this game!"

"Inconceivable?" Phoenix echoed, "I don't think that means what you think that means," Laughing, Phoenix slipped his hands into his pockets and relaxed. Without Pearls pressuring him to marry Maya, it was like the good old times once again. Crazy times, mayhem... hopefully there would be no murder involved either. Althoguht he was sure that there were more qualified lawyers in this room than himself if it did. Glancing about, he was certain that Trucy was with the rest of the group, but he didn't want to disturb her and her friends and be the 'uncool Dad'. Walking over to a shelf, Phoenix picked up a picture from the shelf of Trucy and himself hugging after a stage performance that landed her with the contract with the Wonderbar. He was so proud of his little girl growing up so fast!

Offering the picture to Maya, Phoenix grinned, "She'll be busy somewhere, but that's my little girl there. Trucy Wright. You two would get along great, Maya! She's just just like you were when you were her age!"

Alex's eyes flared open wide as he felt his agitation levels sky rocket. That inconsiderate bastard. Playing her feelings around like that. The least he could do was be a man about it! Pulling out an unused handkerchief from his pocket, Alex gave her the cloth with a stern face

"Like him or not, you deserve better than this arrogance from him," Alex said to her, "Leave it to me, I'll give him a talking to," Glancing back at Tascha, Alex's tough expression flushed a slight red colour as she looked at him. Darn it, this was bad timing, but he had to deal with Bryan. that guy was so clueless about women. Turning back to Leann, Alex nodded to Tascha, "Can you keep Tasch company? I'll sort Bryan out."

Not waiting for a response, Alex burst through the door past Darren and Chris, and ran straight for Bryan. Bryan glance up at his angry brother with confused eyes, before Alex gave Bryan a flying tackle, crashing the two of them onto the bed.

"What the HELL?" Alex demanded at Bryan, gripping his collar with both hands as he loomed over him, "Are you a COMPLETE jerk? Or is this some crazy ploy to make chicks like you even more?"

"What?" Bryan replied, taking a quick glance around him, "It's great that we can have this chat, Alex, but could you get off me?"

"Do you just not CARE about a girl's feelings?" Alex demanded, ignoring Bryan's question, "Don't you realise that this game is more than just a petty kiss to some girls?"

"What on ear.... You mean that girl I just kissed?" Bryan asked, his voice lowing as he spoke, "She did seem a little upset when she left,"

"Damn straight," Alex growled, "She got swept away by you and you trampled her into the floor."

"No, I didn't," Bryan replied with a growl, "She knows that this is just a game. Just a kiss. A bit of fun. It's nothing serious!"

"You call kissing a girl on bed not serious?" Alex asked, "Well, I'm glad that you've onyl got one more kiss left to do and you wont be upsetting any girls with it."

"And THAT'S our cue," Darren suddenly said, giving Chris a slight push forward with the palm of his hand, "This is gonna get ugly, and Alex will actually kill me when he knows the truth. Go get the blue haired chick and I'll play damage control."

"Yeah, tell me about it. That's part of the reason why it didn't work out between him and Viola." said Claves with a sigh. "Still, I'd say it went better than her, other relationships."

She looked over at the table, and noticed the Truth or Dare game starting up again.

"Hey, Artemis. What's say we get into the game before we miss out?" she said.

"I, don't see why not." said Artemis, hoping against hope that she could get a chance to talk to Trucy through the game. "Will you be joining us, Ms. Lincolns?"

Pearl was more than a bit unnerved by the commotion from Trucy's room. She thought games were supposed to be fun. Why did that boy from before sound so angry? Meekly, she approached Leann and Tascha and cleared her throat.

"Um, excuse me..." she said quietly, still afraid of the commotion caused by Alex's quarrel with his brother.

Chris nodded. Things were getting pretty hectic here. "You keep them from killing eachother, I'll be right back." He left the room shaking his head. It was amazing how complicated these kisses and dares could get. Pitting brother against brother, he mused. Not that he thought there was any kind of love triangle or anything. Just more evidence that shows how volatile teenage emotions are.

What am I, Voltaire? he thought to himself as he stepped into the hallway. Now is no time for this psychological stuff. Gotta find Vera... He looked for the blue haired girl for a few moments. He spotted her in the living room and walked up, putting a hand on her shoulder. "Hey, Vera! You're up to kiss Bryan. Watch out, I heard he's a thief." He looked over his shoulder and looked back with a sly grin. "Of hearts. Muhahaha!"

Vera was drawing (again) and humming when Chris came in to get her. She was fairly immersed in her drawing that she didn't notice his presence until he put his hand on her shoulder.



Wait... I thought it was Alex kissing Bryan? And he's a thief? Vera wondered in her head but quickly dismissed these thoughts.

"Thanks for getting me." She said quietly before she stood up to follow Chris, not hearing the last part of his sentence.

"You keep them from killing eachother, I'll be right back."

"Ha, you have the easy job," Darren smirked as Chris dashed off to get the girl. Turning back to Alex growling over Bryan, Darren scratched the back of his head. Alex was going to be annoyed at him still, atleast he was cutting back on a larger portion of Alex's wrath. As fun as it was to get at Alex, there was a limit to what he was prepared to do.

"Look Alex," Bryan started, "You obviously aren't in the mood to be talked to so just let go so I can get on with my next kiss. We can finish this conversation off later."

"Fine," Alex responded, "Well, I'm ready." Bryan's eyes widened for a brief moment, before adopting a look of humour,

"Your desire to kiss me is cute, Alex," Bryan smirked, "but how about you wait your turn?"

"It is my turn," Alex retort, crossing his arms at his brother, "So quit complaining and just get it over and done with." Bryan looked back at Alex blankly for a moment, before cocking his head to the side bemusedly.

"You have been fooled then, Alex," Bryan responded, turning away, "Now, I need to find the young lady I am meant to be kissing."

"You aren't kissing a girl, you idiot. You're meant to kiss m...." As Alex went to grab Bryan once more to stop him leaving, he felt something push in the way of him and his brother.

"NYYOOOOOOO......" Paralysed in shock, it took Alex a few seconds to realise what had happened. Pulling back, Darren knelt beside him rubbing his cheek with a slight sulk, as he protected Bryan from his brother's attack.

"I... deserved that I guess," Darren stammered, pushing Alex back further with his hand, "Sorry bro, but I was totally pulling your leg about kissing Bryan. The bottle was pointing at the blue haired chick, not you."

Alex's mouth opened to reply once... then twice, before he closed his mouth and gave Darren a firm shove into Bryan, "What evs, man. Ya know?" Walking away from the bed with a grump on his face, and a slight red flush, Alex strode back over to Tascha and Leann, stuffing his hands into his pockets. Darren was cool, but sometimes he pushed a joke a little too far. He could see why Cara was annoyed at him now atleast. It wasn't cause she was angry at him, it was because she was just playing with words while he flat out lied. Lying like that just wasn't Cara's style.

"Sorry bout that," Alex apologies, failing badly at hiding his current mood as he joined the pair. Freezing immediately after saying this, he realised that there wasn't just one girl there, but three now. Oh oh- they've started gathering. This can only be bad....

((I'll assume at this point that Alex joins them when Pearls is introduced. If someone can fit Alex's line there into their rp so I can intercept the conversation at some point :) ))

"Oh, um. It's okay. I guess." said Pearl, still feeling a bit uncomfortable. "Um, what was that all about? I thought games like this were supposed to be fun. Did you lose or something? Wait, can you lose at this game? I..."

At this point, Pearl was getting very embarrassed. She had never played Spin the Bottle before. All she knew about it was from her more recent endeavors of learning about the world outside of Kurain Village, and even then, she still didn't know a whole lot about the game. But the problem was that she didn't want to admit it to anyone.

((Pearl actually walked in when Alex was talking to Leann, but she didn't really approach them until Alex and Bryan had their quarrel. She was waiting patiently for a chance to let them know that she was joining the game. Either way, I hope the flow of the conversation makes some sense. ))

((Hey, I'm really sorry for the hold-up but I've been pretty sick for the past week with a throat infection that I'm only just shaking off- it wasn't just my having a CRAZY busy life :P))

"Cou... Could you talk to him? I don't want Alex to see me like this. No matter how he feels about me, I know that it will hurt him to see me like this."

Klavier nodded. "Of course, I'll take care of it. Try not to pine for me too much while I'm gone, Fräulein Sarah..." he finished, unable to resist a joke.

Dummkopf! What did you do that for? The girl's crying! he mentally reproached himself as soon as the words left his mouth.

"I'll be back in a minute."

Stepping out of the room, Klavier gently closed the door- Sarah wouldn't appreciate any of the teenagers from the party wandering in on her. He crossed the hallway and strode into the kitchen, locating Kraus immediately. He paused for a moment as he struggled to recognise the elegant woman next to him, she was somehow familiar although he couldn't quite place the face.

"I believe you are trying to remember where you recognise me from. You took my statements for TM-6, the body left in the refridgerator at the Caprina Hotel- gang-related, of course," the woman spoke up, clearly picking up on his confusion.

"Fräulein Tiffany," he replied with his customary charm, recognising the woman the police turned to when they wanted some serious dirt on the underground. Not quite legal, but not quite illegal either...

"We are about to commence a game of Spin the Bottle, perhaps you would care to join us Signor Gavin?" she continued, picking up a medium-sized grape juice bottle from the table and displaying it in the palm of her hand.

"I'm afraid I have to speak with Herr Kraus for a moment... it's a matter of some urgency," Klavier answered pleasantly.

"Che assurdità! You can surely spare a few minutes for your friends," Tiffanny gestured towards Phoenix. Her tone of voice remained playful but there was momentarily something in it that reminded him who she had been before she had decided to go straight.

"Very well...but only one round for now."

"Excellent," she smiled, setting the bottle on the table and giving it a firm spin.

((Klavier seems like the most interesting choice but it might be a little dull RPing the whole dare myself, perhaps Tiffany might request help to come up with one?

Also I'm finding it difficult to slot Tascha back in after having missed a fair amount- could someone who's free perhaps start a conversation with her or take her over to where the kiss is happening?))

Chris smiled. "Don't worry about it." He led the way back into the room to see the aftermath of what just happened inside. "Man, I told you to keep everybody calm in here and something else happens. You've gotta work on your mediation skills, Darren," he said, ushering Vera into the room.

Looking around, he said, "Hey, by the way, where's Cara?"

That was winning as much as averting death was winning!!

"No!" Alex blurt out, pausing, "No wait... Yes! No... I don't have a clue!" Grabbing his hair, Alex narrowed his eyes and tried to make sense of his situation. The only thing he conclude was that it was a sport with no winner or loser so it didn't count. It still sucked majorly though.

Letting out a giggle at the situation from the corner of the room, that social experiment turned out a MUCH better success than she thought it would. She got to see Alex be awkward, AND Darren getting the blame for it. Her job here was done. She didn't expect it to come, but finally Darren did something nice for her, even if it was unintentional. Something nice fore his enemy too! She guessed that Alex's wrath was worth doing something nice for Bryan for once.

"Silly jerk," Cara smirked, adopting a Cheshire expression as Alex left the room in a storm. Watching Darren flop onto the bed dramatically, probably in hope that sympathy for him would absorb into him via mitosis, she didn't pay attention to the happenings outside of the room till Chris walked in with Vera in tow

"Hey, by the way, where's Cara?"

"Right here," Cara grinned, bouncing back over to Chris with a satisfied grin, and latching back onto him, "You miss me?"

Bryan sat on the side of the bed, still in surprise at what he had just witnessed. Alex was taking this game alot more seriously than he expected. Just a simple kiss seemed to mean alot more to him that he originally thought it would. Perhaps the only think holding Alex back from getting a girlfriend really was the fact that he had no time for one with his ice hockey. Him though? Was he prepared to let it go enough to see if he truly liked a girl in that way? Or was he so use to acting older than his own age that he lost all ability to act like a teenager still. To relax and just have a bit of fun? Maybe he was too hard on that girl earlier? She did seem pretty proactive about the kiss. Perhaps she was trying impress him, or perhaps... perhaps she...

Pausing that train of thought, Bryan slicked his hair back once more, and smiled. Well, he had one more kiss to do. Perhaps he could try and be a little more relaxed with that one?

"Hey, by the way, where's Cara?"

Looking up, Chris was bringing in the girl he needed to kiss next. Getting up off the bed, Bryan walked up to her and held out his hand, "I believe that you are my actual last kiss for this round?"

"Agitation is not an endearing look for you, Herr Gavin," Kraus said softly, hoping his gifted hands would relax him even though there was tension between the two of them, "Let your shoulders feel your burdens. Not your face. It is the mark of a true gentleman."

When Maya received the picture from Phoenix, the incoming smile could not be held back. "Wow Nick...", she said, "Looking at this picture, I almost think you're actually qualified to be a father!" She giggled at her little joke before saying, "Just like me? Adorable AND awesome?! I almost wish I could've been her mother... without the father."

"Alright Nick, I'm gonna go see if I can find her. Wait for me for a bit, will ya?"
She then left him for a bit, and began walking around. (Her name was... it was... Ah...!)
"Trucy! Trucy! Where are you?", she lightly called for her.

Bryan had walked up to Vera just as she entered the room. Her mind was blank at the moment, she had only been following Chris around mindlessly.

"I believe that you are my actual last kiss for this round?"

It wasn't until Bryan had said those words that Vera had finally understood just what was about to happen. She quickly tensed up and didn't know what to do. She was obviously nervous, this Bryan guy intimidated her for some reason. Vera stood there for a while before noticing that Bryan had held his hand out. She looked between him and his hand for a while before deciding that getting it over with is probably the best option right now. The quicker I do this, the quicker I get it over with. She thought, probably trying to convince herself that she should just do it.

Vera decided to ignore the hand that Bryan has held out to her. "Y-yeah. I t-think so." She said so quietly it was barely audible before taking a step closer to Bryan.

Leann was shocked that Alex had gotten as upset as he had over the whole Bryan thing. Watching the argument between the two, she had wanted to say something but was at a loss for words. She knew that the whole argument was stupid, but she secretly liked the fact that in a way, Alex was standing up for her. A boy had never stood up for her before. She was surprised to say the least. After the argument when Bryan had gone off to do his kiss with Vera, Leann walked up to Alex. "Um..thank you. For doing that." she gave him a shy smile. It was the least she could say for what he had said for her.


Audrey joined the game at the same time as Artemis and Claves. She was intrigued by the whole the skunk dating viola thing. She wanted to know more about it and figured that maybe Claves was the one to talk to? "Viola? Do you know much about that relationship? Sorry if it's a weird question."

"It's fine. It's obvious that you're interested in the Skunk." said Claves. "Unfortunately, I can't say much about it. At least, not right now. I respect Viola's privacy a bit more than that."

"But you're willing to cast that aside for the sake of the game." said Artemis, folding her arms.

"Hey, it's the luck of the draw, Artemis." said Claves with a shrug. "Besides, Viola played this game before at my Sweet Sixteen. She understands what could happen."

"I suppose." said Artemis. "Well, shall we get started then?"

Alex's answer to Pearl's question made her feel even more uncomfortable. "Um, I'm sorry. I, really didn't mean to upset you." she said. "It's just that..." She gulped. She really didn't want to say that she never played the game before. It was too embarrassing for her. She twiddled her fingers and began to blush, unsure of what to say next.

Cara grinned, a sneaky sparkle glinting in her eyes, "Yes! Mr Knight in shinning armour pulled through for me again! He's like a Drama bomb waiting to explode." Breaking out into a fresh new giggle, Cara glanced up at Chris coyly, "It was fun, but he's too easy of a trigger to pull. Specially when Mr Drama Llama is triggered so easily by the King of Llamas over there," Pointing at Bryan, Cara burried herself back into Chris' arms and adopted a cheshire grin, "Lets see how deep he digs himself with her."

"Wow Nick... Looking at this picture, I almost think you're actually qualified to be a father!" Maya giggled, "Just like me? Adorable AND awesome?! I almost wish I could've been her mother... without the father."

Phoenix's eye widened. He had no romantic interest in Maya, but that being said, being burned by a pretty woman in a kimono was always going to be a bit of a stab in the chest. Glancing aside, Phoenix couldn't think of a cute come back to that. Little did that matter how ever as Maya quickly turned away.

"Alright Nick, I'm gonna go see if I can find her. Wait for me for a bit, will ya?"

"Trucy?" Phoenix asked, breaking out of his shock as she left the kitchen. Giving the kitchen door a lopsided look as the door closed, Phoenix crossed his arms and watched for a moment more, before turning away. Typical Maya. Always barelling into situations without thinking first. He hope that trait hadn't gotten her into too much trouble in her life....

"Y-yeah. I t-think so." His hand being ignored, Bryan withdrew the hand in surprise, giving himself a quiet 'huh' in response to being denied the right to be civil about the kiss. Girls usually liked that. Perhaps this one was too embarrassed to express her feelings in person. Watching her take a step closer, Bryan realised that she hadn't gotten the full story of the kiss yet. It wasn't to be done just anywhere- it had to be done on the BED. It was just going to get awkward if he let her have the kiss there.

"That's good," Bryan replied, suddenly sweeping Vera off her feet, holding her in his arms, "but I'm not kissing you here. We need to do it on the bed."

"Hey, it's cool," Alex said, raising his hands in defense, "I'm still figuring this damn game out, that's all."

"Uhhh..." Glancing back at the girl Bryan just upset, Alex paused to retrace his thoughts to what she was getting at, "No problem. I think he got the picture finally. He can be pretty thick for a smart guy though so you can never be sure..." Glancing aside, Alex wondered how Bryan was treating Vera. Should he check? She did look pretty fragile about the game. He hoped he wasn't too forceful...

Chris laughed and pointed to Bryan sweeping Vera off her feet. "Looks like it's gonna be pretty deep. Check out Casanova over there," he whispered, gesturing towards the two. "Talk about a ladykiller, huh?"

"Oh, that's a relief." said Pearl with a happy sigh. "That means I'm not the only one who hasn't played this game before."

She gave Alex a smile, feeling a lot more at ease. She then looked towards Trucy's room, where Alex was looking.

"Is that where the game is being played?" she asked. "And if that's the case, what are you doing standing out here? Shouldn't you be in there having fun with your friends?"

By this point, she was wondering if Alex was getting annoyed by all of her questions. She felt a little guilty about bombarding him, but so far, very little at this party made sense to her. She figured things would come into focus once she joined the game.

Vera squeaked in surprise when Bryan had swept her off her feet, she wasn't expecting that, of all things, to happen. She was still wondering why Bryan swept her off her feet when next said something.



"I'm kissing you on the bed!?" Vera shouted, or.... quietly shouted in shock.

"How come no-one told me about this?" Vera then questioned, she wasn't mad, she was simply curious. She could have mentally prepared herself if she had known.

((Back from holiday! YAY for back to a 22 inch screen again! <3 I'm gonna miss Wellington though >.< ))

"Oooooh- I didn't know he had it in him," Cara grinned, "Really smooth. Too bad he's putting the moves on for the wrong girl. If he did what he's going to do now for Leann, then this would be a completely different game." Bursting into a giggle, Cara closed her eyes happily, "But that's what makes this game so fun!"

"Is that where the game is being played?" the girl asked. "And if that's the case, what are you doing standing out here? Shouldn't you be in there having fun with your friends?"

"If you want to watch my brother traumatise some girl with his lips then be my guest. It's not my thing to watch torture."

"Nonsense, you're a sadist at heart. You play ice hockey after all," Glancing behind him, his red head friend, Darren had snuck up on him, and slung and arm over his opposite shoulder, "Besides, it's going to be hilarious. He's already swept her off her feet so he can take his prize over to the bed. You want to see the train wreak that comes of that, right?"

Alex looked at Darren, partly horrified at Bryan's choice of courting, and partly on the person he was doing it ON. He knew for a FACT that Vera was very shy, and that she wasn't use to boys. That poor girl was a MESS after Darren got to her. Goodness knew what Bryan would do after how he treated Leann!

"Fine," Alex replied, "But only cause Vera is going to need someone that isn't already in that room to make her not upset after Bryan is finished with her." Darting his face to Pearls, Alex nodded to the door, "Looks like we're going in." Turning heel, Alex strode back to Trucy's room, not concerned if anyone else was going to follow. Frankly, the less that saw the aftermath, the better....

Looking down at Vera as his eyes glazed over, Bryan traced his memory back to the spin. Now he thought about it, Alex and Vera were still very pre-occupied with their kiss at the time. Perhaps the event of the spin was explained in hindsight. By Darren. It was all making sense now...

Grinning to himself, Bryan did a quiet chuckle before swinging his leg over to knelling over Vera. Smirking, Bryan looked back to her, "I get it now. Don't worry, I'll make sure I keep an eye out for you to make sure you get the correct information next time. It seems that a certain red head wanted to make life difficult for me," Glancing back for a moment, Bryan turned back, and leaned closer for the kiss, cradling her cheek, "Don't let him get to you, OK?" Bryan then leaned in and pressed his lips to hers.

Chris raised an eyebrow. "Wrong girl? Whaddyou mean?" he asked Cara, while also looking at the scene unfold before him between Bryan and Vera. She was such a quiet girl, he thought. But then, Leann was too. That's what made this dare so hilarious to watch.

Cara giggled, giving the side of Chris' head a cheeky flick with his finger, "You boys are clueless, you know? Didn't you see how she battered her eyes at him and got upset when he dismissed her? She's got a crush on him- the Lady Killah!" Glancing aside, Cara dusted her knuckles, "I doubt she knows Bryan well enough to know that he's just slow on the uptake, and not just disinterested... She'll be heart broken if she sees him do this, I bet."
