You forgot the crazy ass weather, Ohio Players, and the corn fields. I swear to god, sometimes it feels like there's ten corn fields to every person in this state.

You don't know the half of it. I live in Mt. Gilead sometimes. We have a CINEMA. ONE MOVIE A DAY. Half of our houses are barns. It's the country. I'm always scared Malaki would pop out of the feild.

That's cool. I always wondered what it was like to live in Cananda. Then again, I should start traveling someday.

Which of the two place do you like better living in , EFG? :hobohodo:

That's a very good question, BP. *thinks hard*

While I'm still attatched to my home province--not surprising since I spent over 30 years of my life there--I like Maine a lot. :) My husband is also here so that tips the scales in that way in favour of Maine. :)

I do miss my home country but I'm happy with my husband in Maine.

Wow, that's one of the best answers I ever heard for this kinda question. I bet you must miss your home province sometimes. But you got your husband, who you are so loyal btw, which makes living here just a good. Do you go back to your home province in Canda for visits or vacations? :larry2:

I wonder If I miss NY when I finally move out of state someday. :yuusaku:

@BP: I think you probably will. :) I think it's funny that the place I lived in for over 30 years-and had said often that I couldn't wait to leave-now has a nostalgic glow about it. It was where I was born, lived for over 3 decades, where my family lives and was very attatched to. It sticks with you no matter where you might go.
It's also familar: the places, people, the ebb and flow of daily life. After awhile, you get used to the routine, regardless whether or not you like the place you live in. It gets in your blood and stays there; no matter where you might go or what you do, it's always there with you, something familar to cling to in times of uncertainty or change.

Thank you on both counts, BP. :)

I haven't been back to Canada or my home province of Alberta since I left August 1, 1999.
I do talk to my Dad every week so I catch up on news from Alberta and Canada. :)
I do want to go back for a visit and I will sometime. :)
