Too late, but I have already forgotten most of it other than the major points. I will avoid the dub that should inevitably come out, until I finish the game itself.
I am guessing they stupidly put a plot spoiler in there, like you (or someone) were saying for that one news post by Aksys earlier (which I avoided reading after you said that).

The promotional material Aksys has been releasing on the other hand, I don't even know what they're trying to do. It gives away a plot element that you shouldn't know about until a couple hours in. So if you haven't seen any of them yet, you probably should try to keep that up.

Well, Aksys indeed had a strange way to announce the game, but I don't think it's really a spoiler. I also thought their mentioning of "virus" all the time was odd, but you don't know what it means and how important it is or if it really is in the game. So actually it only becomes a spoiler, when somebody tells you that it is a spoiler (it's not a great spoiler anyway).

Edit: I google searched for it again, like I did a few hours ago, and it was the first link. Wow. Before I went through multiple different key words and went through several pages and couldn't find it.
Edit 2: Oh god, these are hilarious, especially if you know what they're talking about. They don't really tell you explicit spoilers, but I guess you can kind of figure out whose ending is the true ending through them. Outside of that, I don't think you could really figure out anything just from the names alone. But if you know what they're talking about they are amazing. They probably won't make much sense outside of that.

I wonder, is there some achievements for the 3DS version too?
I know there's no 'centralised' system on the 3DS (yet ?), like trophys for PSN, but plenty of games have achievements anyway (Samurai Warriors Chronicles, Kid Icarus Uprising, Resident Evil Revelations).
I've always like achievements in games, though that wouldn't really be a disappointment if there was none in the 3DS version.

I don't think the 3DS version has an ingame achievement system but it doesn't bother me and I am quite the achievement whore. Everyone who loves the game will get all endings of the game anyway. If you do this, you've already got 27 out of 33 trophies covered. The other 6 are (2 each) for finding secrets, files and playing in hard mode. You want to find the secrets and those files, because getting them is a reward in itself and I think you only get the files when playing on hard. So every serious fan of VLR will do all the actions that give you trophies anyway.

But how bout they change those a bit (I haven't seen the actual list since I want to be as spoilerfree as I can)
like team up with certain and certain characters etc,
or get one by dying as soon as you can, or...something...

I also think that the random generation might work a little different, but I'm not too sure. Since parts of the puzzles are randomly generated, so you can't just look them up online or just do on Normal Mode and then repeat on Hard Mode.
