Anybody watch this yet? There are two seasons out at the moment and it's a fantastic show.

Basic premise: Katsuragi Keima dislikes the real world. As an escape from said world, he spends every waking moment playing dating sim games, which gets him in trouble at school and other places as well. One day, he receives a message on his PFP (PSP after licensing barriers) challenging him with a girl he supposedly cannot conquer. Regarding himself as the "God of Conquest", he accepts, and a contract is signed. Demon girl Elsie descends from the sky and informs Keima of his new job: hunting down loose souls that have taken over the bodies of troubled female students.

This show overall feels like a harem, but don't be fooled. It deals with so many different elements that it's just very fun to watch. It's also got one of the most badass OP themes of all time, along with a magnificent soundtrack filled with catchy songs.

S2 Ending Theme: Character Variation

And to top it off, both seasons contain a simple 12 episodes. Easy to complete, but with lots of content.

I've seen a couple episodes of this and it looked pretty good, so it's on my list of shows to watch.

Crunchyroll! I love their variety of shows but personally hate their cheaply done subtitles. I've got mine...as you might say "illegally" torrented.:D

But yeah, no excuse now. Everyone go watch Takahara Ayumi tie her hair up in the very first episode.

Honestly, I loved the series. I loved the way how both Keima and Elsie both go around town to fill in the loneliness in girls' hearts! This anime also has a terrific sense of humor, makes me laugh on almost every episode! For people who haven't watch it, I urge you to! Agreeing with the last post, I await a third season!

Don't do much anime, but I have been reading the manga of this and I find it very addictive and entertaining. I really find it interesting how they use a physically weak protagonist in a world full of overpowered beings. They have made it to where it works quite well.

On April 3, 2016, Court Records Forums experienced a miracle upon that day.

I'm a big fan of the manga but not that much of the anime. Still I watched the whole first season and have to make some time for the second one.

But currently I've been bugged by the... let's call it: "Latest important events" in the manga. How can a week pass so slow!? It's no freaking "Captain Tsubasa"! :zenitora:

In the process of watching this now, about two thirds through season 1. It's super. I was a little suprised at how touching it can be, considering the premise.

I love The World God Only Knows I just wish Keima would've changed more or at least started a relationship with one of the girls he kissed.

Even though it seemed like he became infactuated with some of the girls he kissed, he was still the same old otaku who would probably sell his soul to live in a dating sim world with females that fit all his ideals.

Apparently the manga goes on for quite a bit longer than the anime did, so maybe he does hook up with someone eventually.

I'm reading the manga, and as of the current chapter, nope. It is, however, really really interesting. I'm very interested in seeing where this next arc is heading. I do like the way they're handling time travel so far.

though it does worry me in a way that the manga's title has been said in this chapter...like in most manga the manga's title being said in the manga sometimes has a way of saying the story is getting to its end

I'll be honest. If he HAS to hook up with someone, I say save it for the end. To even put him in a relationship right now, to me, would be a very bad idea. It would really take away a lot from his character and it would lose a lot of appeal for me. Yeah, it might show his growth of how he goes from liking the 2-D world to the 3-D world, but I honestly feel that that kind of development would just drive the series into the wrong direction as of now. He's just now gotten to a point to where he's actually starting to care about the things around him and not just games. To throw him into a relationship right now I feel would be way too soon and would just show overall bad writing. If they really did that right now, I'd really lose interest in what I think is a great series. Like I said, if they got to do it, save it for the end. To me, that would show the end of his growth as a character.

Yeah, I doubt Keima's actually going to end up with anyone until the end of the series, if he does.
