GAH, I watched the vid of LoZ:TP..That little things scares me. I'll never play it again, so happy that I'm a loser in this game.

Scary?
Hmm..Pokemon scared me once, D/P. When you go into this old creepy house and do something, a ghostly girl walks out of a room..

When I was five or six, that game TKKG scared me..There was one, I think it's called 'Treasure of the Mayas'. I always played it with my auntie because there was one scene where you had to put the Maya-Heads into the empty eyes of the big huge one. It always scared me.

Hmm..But for now, I can't think of a game. Ah wait, Joe Darke in PW:AA Case 1 scared me..
I'm not using CR anymore.

I see I'm not the only one to hate large underwater foes. EVERY SINGLE 3D Mario game has some kind of giant eel, to boot. I didn't actually loathe Eely-Mouth from Sunshine too much, because at least there is no danger of him sneaking up on me.

Resident Evil: Dead Aim.
There's a boss where you have to kill this fat zombie, with a HUGE club.
I just made my character hide behind boxes until I found the Rocket Launcher. DX

I don't really get scared by games, but of course I they can get me incredibly tense, and some are fairly creepy.

The redead filled villlage in Majora's mask I found fairly creepy, with the one family surronded by them at all times, it may have been gibdos actually...
There's also the well in ocarina of time, which if you look has blood-stained hay stacks, not to mention the music.
The final level of castlevania DoS I found fairly creepy, with you going into hell and all, the final boss room constructed out of naked corpses was a bit creepy as well.

The last game that scared me (well, sort of) was Animal Crossing: Wild World. No joke. I got stung by a scorpion, and the next time I heard it hiss two days later, I ran away, then I was too scared to go look for it amongst the trees. I kept slowly patrolling the outside of the forest for two hours.

(lol every time I read the word "redead", I think it says "redhead" XD)
So yea in LoZ the redeads scared me soooooo bad. Sometimes I sneak around and then one pops up and I immediately give out a high-pitched scream >.< It also didn't help that in Melee's classic mode, there was that stupid LoZ maze in one of the levels where redeads chased you *cries* needless to say, I didn't play that mode very often.
The floormasters scared me the first few times, but now I've gotten wiser and keep my eyes peeled for them...
BUT if anyone's gotten to that one dark temple where Zant is in Twilight Princess, whenever I was doing that thing where I had to take a "sol" all the way out of the dungeon, that stupid hand would wake up and follow WHEREVER I went. I was sooooooo freaked out that I started using up all my arrows just to stop it for a sec (and then I realized I could've used my hookshot to poke at it from the beginning... <_< *sigh*)

In Trauma Center, I give a huge jolt every (yes, EVERY) time I kill my patient. Every time I see the "operation failed", I suddenly feel reeeeeeeeally guilty... and then that stupid "Derek goes emo and disappears" text comes up and then I feel bad for Derek :stiles: (yea so it's more guilt [hehe, GUILT] than being scared, but killing my patient still kinda creeps me out)
And sometimes on the kyriaki missions, I always think I have all the kyriaki defeated, so I'm waiting for the huge one to come out, and sometimes on the Wii it lags so like after I'm waiting I'm kinda like *doze off* then suddenly I hear alot of slicing sounds and the stupid thing pops up (Yea I play the game on very high volume) and... yea.
There's more stuff, but I'm not willing to bring up those memories right now...

... Halo, and Gears of War.

Okay, so, I played Halo when I was about ... ten or so. Not too bad, I guess. I loved the game. I own the trilogy now. But ... the first time I got really scared in the game ...

... was when the flood made their first appearance.

Oh god. Walking into that room ... only to find a corpse pop out of the door you just opened... and then his helmet on the floor. You take out the chip, insert it in your helmet to view records of what he's seen ...

... memories...

... his death.

... And then the culprit was right there...

And I knew I had to face it.

My reaction:

Oh, hell no.

I stood in that room for a long, long time. I waited ... wandered slowly... into the bloody rooms of past battles ... and then they swarmed in. I continued to hide. I zoomed in on the door they entered... and saw the juggernaut form of the flood ... and my heart just went boom.

I didn't wanna play ... but I did. ;;

And then in Gears of War. (Recent, so I'm still the same age as when I played it... 13.) Oh my god, I have never wanted to not play a game that badly before because of fear. If anyone here has played it ... I'm pretty sure they were at least a little creeped out when they first met the Berserker.

Good thing my brother was playing it with me. When we had to face that thing, I paused the game and I was like... "NO, NO, I DON'T WANNA ... OH MY GOD NOOOO." I was SCREAMING... partly laughing... xD; but my brother encouraged me. ... But that thing creeped me the HELL out. SCARED me... I kept yelling every time it would chase after me.. as it screamed, and you couldn't even SEE it chase you. However, I got used to it, and I grew to love the big lug, and even tease it everytime we had to confront one. xD;;

... and gawd... clock tower and resident evil... DDD: I've never played clock tower. Boy, it sounds freaky. But I played resident evil when I was like, 4. I don't know which installment it was, but, man... I was so creeped out.

All I remember.. entering a room. Then a flash of a body crawling up a window! What the CRAP was that?! Then I walked slowly through the corridor.... and omg, it pops up ..

I'm petrified.

I never played it again.

I've seen only videos and explanations of Fatal Frame 1-3 and Haunting Ground and that's enough to give me nightmares! :beef: I'm quite pathetic when it comes to scary games. Can't handle 'em. I know I'd have a heart attack if I try to play Haunting Ground; one of the main objectives is to try to hide from your enemies and pray that they don't find you; I tense incredibly any time I'm playing a game in a frightening situation where a freaky enemy is coming after you. The worst part is since I can't take my fear on by hitting the dang guy, you're supposed to hide; the thought of trying to hide really sucks me into the game and just makes me really freak out. Also, you have this "Panic Meter" where the screen becomes grainier as the meter increases and also the screen can sometimes skip. Oh, and what happens if your character gets too frightened? You enter in this "Panic Mode" where the screen starts flashing and you can't control your character except maybe turning while she runs! And, AND, the controller vibrates like a heartbeat...

*shudders* I've never even PLAYED the dang game, and it's already giving me the creeps!

I think it's scary to think that the villagers got their water from a well, where were blood, monsters, Dead Hand, and dirt-soaked rooms. I wouldn't even want to drink water from that well.

The only one I can recall scaring me is The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, although it wasn't necessarily fear so much as a nightmare. Thanks to my fear of spiders, I had a nightmare about fighting an army of spider-based enemies from the game and ultimately getting killed by one.

I know that me and my friend were creeped out by a game of silent hill, 'cause a zombie came out from under a car and startled us xD then we learned how to change the color of the blood the zombies sprayed, and had much fun after that xD

And when I was little my dad played dungeons and dragons game on amiga, and I was scared by the creatures, even though I reaaally wanted to play (so I emulate it on my laptop now...it still kinda startles me xD)

Argh, there's this one game I vaguely remember when I was a kid but stopped playing it because there was this one part that terrified me. I can't remember the name of the game, or the story for that matter.

I remember it was for the PC and it was a point and click adventure game. I forget the plot, but a group of kids, or teens had the ability to transform into animals. And I think they were searching for a pet dinosaur or something. But I remember walking down this one path and animated t-rex came out of nowhere and attacked me. That part scared the crap out of me and never played it again. I think your character also had to look for animal transformation powers or something :eh?:

If only I could remember the naaaaaaame :larry:
If anyone here knows what the hell I'm talking about I will give you lots of love.
And cookies.

Also, I remember I had a friend when I was 8, she lent me her 101 Dalmations game for the PC.
You'd think "Oh Disney, 101 Dalmations, puppies are cute."

No. It was a point-and-click game where you played as one of the puppies and had to escape from the DeVile Manor while rescuing the other puppies. You had to be careful because if you stayed in a room too long, or looked in a certain area, or made noise, you would get caught and it'd be game over. But getting caught was the creepiest thing D:

GTA scares me.
just. the idea. i'm such a goody goody person that its just not my style. I got nothing against it, i'm just not gutsy enough to actually play it. even though its only a videogame.
the last time I played it, was...so many years ago. Vice city, and all I did was run around punching the criminals the cops were already running after. DX

Nope wasn't Animorphs. It must've been a really really obscure game since I can't find info on it anywhere. And I usually find info on games I used to play in the past that I vaguely remember.

It was just some kind of adventure game where you were on some island filled with labyrinths, had moai-like cliffs all over the place. And somehow there were also dinosaurs.

DUDE my friend gave me that game once and I loooved playing it... at first. But when the freakin' dogcatchers come, oh god. I don't care how stupid and un-scary they are, it freaks me out when you have to run from them. I stopped playing after that (come to think of it, where IS that game?)

If anyone's played the original Myst for the PC, I got so stuck in the beginning, so I asked my cousin if she could come over and help me out. While we were playing, there's this one part where you take this colored page and stick it in a book of the same color and something would happen, which in this case was some odd video of a random guy going, "can you hear me?" It scared my cousin so bad, though XD
which also reminds me...
Another time that she came over, we were watching one of my brothers play Windwaker and he was taking his time just smashing pots in a dungeon when suddenly, one of those stupid blue rat things (aaaaack the name escapes me) breaks through the boarded-up door and attacks. D: We both gave a high, girly squeal at that moment

F.E.A.R - I haven't played it, only watched a few videos of it - generally with Alma in it - and I always muted them.

That freaking hand in Twilight Princess' Twilit Palace!!

Sort of, but not really... Final Fantasy X's boss Yunalesca's third form. But only cause it was late at night.

That hand... I first saw it when I watched my brother play Twilight Princess and years later, when I finally played it myself, I spent most of my time dreading it. (^^;) Fortunately, it never caught me.

The re-deads in the Legend of Zelda still scare me now. Not as much though. The worst thing is that my 8 year brother recently played the game and killed them for fun...

Another thing from the Legend of Zelda are the Big Octos from Wind Waker. I've actually developed a fear of Octopi from it...

I once tried a demo of Resident Evil, but I got so scared I couldn't finish it. That and I died pretty quickly. :/ I don't do well when it comes to horror games. Funny enough, I'm fine with movies though.

Oh yeah I totally forgot Resident Evil... probably because I never played it.
I believe I watched one video, that involved all the possible deaths in RE4 - cinematic and 'normal' ones. Mostly, though, I watched the spoof thing "Days of our Lives: Resident Evil 4" and that took some of the scariness away, simply because it's, well, a spoof.

ReDeads were scary?
Mh, not really. Then again, I got desensitized somewhat as a kid.

Yeah, it's weird. I'm not usually scared of such things, in fact I love Zombie horror movies. I think it's the fact that when you're playing a game, you become immersed in the world and in some way, what's happening to your character, is also happening to you. If you get what I mean.

Well, this is what happens for me, anyway. It's part of the reason why I love video games so much.

I'm going to be honest here but when I was young I was scared of the Chicken Run game for PS1. There was this local restaurant which had 2 PS1s there, one with Chicken Run, the other with Rayman 1. Now, as a child, I sucked at games, probably because until I got a PS2 the only games I had were Tetris DX for GBC and Robot Wars for PC. In Chicken Run, in the first level, I think you had to gather some things for their escape plan without being spotted, but Mrs Tweedy's dog was patrolling the farm and I got caught EVERY. SINGLE. TIME, and when you did get caught, it would say 'The dog caught you' and the screen would close up on the dog's face while he would bark relentlessly at you. Needless to say, I stuck to Rayman 1 from then on. Shame the restaurant got rid of them.

Most games, aside from fighting games like DBZ Budokai or Street Fighter, scared me as a kid... I had an irrational fear of dying. Even though I knew nothing would happen to me if my character died :payne:

Within the past couple of years, though...

Trauma Center: Second Opinion - When I first played, the polyps freaked me out. Didn't help that it was really late at night...

Trauma Team - Rosalia and Diagnosis in general. I don't know why I freak out at those... Seriously, show me anything from Forensics and I'm like, "ok, cool", but anything from Diagnosics, I wince and/or flinch... Oh, and the cutscene at the beginning of the seventh chapter. The high-pitched ringing in the background never fails to get me... Especially back when I first heard it; back then I was having sleep issues because of this constant buzzing/ringing in my ears that I never found out the cause of, and it was also distracting and freaking me out during the day. When I first heard the ringing from that cutscene, I thought it was the buzzing again and had a bit of a panic attack... Was short enough that no one but me noticed, but still...
So I finally grew a brain and remembered to give myself a signature... Whoopee.
Snackoos IRL. They are delicious and are covered in real chocolate. #so-grateful-I'm-Filipino

Excuse me if I contradict myself. I do that.
