Oooohh Eureka 7! That's one of my favorites, but you'll eventually find yourself wanting to beat Renton cause of his stupid personality. Overall, great story. I even liked English Dub.
Ugh, that's going to bug me then. Will there be better characters to make up for it?
I'm watching it with English subs. You can't beat the original Japanese.
Eureka's kids got extremely annoying in both English and Japanese, so I had a hard time deciding what to listen to. I really liked Renton, Eureka, and Holland's English voices so I stuck with them.
My favorite characters were Holland and Eureka, but Renton DOES get better. I mean it's like 50 episodes, so there's gotta be some growth for him :\

I'm doing it in completely wrong order though, first the 2 ep OVA, then the 2 min specials and now I'm in the actualy anime... XD
Oh well, with series like these the order you see them doesn't really matter though.
I dunno why I have soff spot for this kinda series. But let's be honest here; Run is so stupid and so cute it's just unresistable
and Tooru is...Tooru is...Just so damn epic scumbag I'd wish there'd be more of this ;_;

Anyway, I also started watching Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet. It's about a mecha pilot from a humanity that abandoned Earth years ago during a severe ice age making it seem uninhabitable. Then something goes wrong in a fight, and he ends up on Earth, which is now completely flooded with people living on floating cities made up of entire fleets of ships. Naturally, they speak different languages (his AI buddy can translate though) and there's quite the cultural difference.

I've been watching Gargantia too. On top of that I'm watching Valvrave cause it's silly. I'm watching a lot of things this season. Well I always do.

Anyway, as per usual, also watchign Doctor Who and Game of Thrones. I've seen mixed reactions to DW's latest episode, but I personally rather enjoyed it. Game of Thrones is interesting as ever, with Peter Dinklage (Tyrion) of course owning every scene he's in, or at least the ones Charles Dace (Tywin) doesn't own. My friend the novel purist is gorwing increasingly agitated with the details changed from the books, but since I haven't read A Song of Ice and Fire I'm choosing to take the TV series as its own thing (as I tend to do with any adaptation).
