Eshiro still wants to make a third Gyakuten Kenji

I'm kind of intrigued by this, not necessarily because I want it (I think it would be cool but Investigations doesn't get me excited the way the original GS series does) but because of two factors:
1. Would we get it? It would presumably be on the 3DS, and it would probably take place after GS5, but obviously GK2 didn't come out in the west, so what would happen here?
2. Assuming GS5 is as good as people are saying it is, I might prefer the team to make GS6 rather than go back to GK3 and have another team make a game of lesser quality.
Anyway, it's still on his mind.
I used to have Sam Waterston as my avatar but photobucket added a watermark and also Law & Order has been cancelled for 10 years so it's time for me to move on.

Seconded so hard, Turnabout Ablaze is in my top cases. I think it reasonable that we could see AAI2 as an e-Shop release (even though I'd love to see it as a Physical one, that ain't happening), of course that's hinging on GS5 selling well, which hopefully it will.

I actually never really had a problem with Edgeworth's characterization in the GK games. I think when you take an established character who's gone through change and make him the playable character he is always going to feel a little flat, because he can't go through the same stuff a non-playable character can. It's pretty apparent in Dual Destinies; by the looks of things, all the characters go through most of their personal issues when another character is the playable character.
I'd like to see another GK. I just doubt we will because we didn't get GK2. Also, like I said, as much as I like GK I like GS much better, so If GS5 becomes a winnder I'd rather them keep on the main GS team.

Because they always make sure the games able to be enjoyed/understood alone, I don't think the fact we haven't gotten GK2 completely rules out an English release of GK3.
I think it would be neat to have GK3 take place in GS5-era, with a flashback case/segment to the time of Nick's disbarment.

I loved GK1 and 2, especially the second. I really loved playing as Edgeworth and seeing his personality change in some ways. I think it would be great if Phoenix played some kind of a role, though.

That said, it'd be infinitely preferable if we got GK2 here FIRST before we got GK3, assuming we got the later at all. If worst came to absolute worst, at least I'd still have another set of rocking tunes to add to my collection of AA sounds :)

Also, the producers seem to be very aware of the Western audience and their situation, so my guess is GK3 would be made in order to not be reliant on GK2 in order to understand it. Assuming Gk2 doesn't get released here before then.

If a GK3 would come out, I'd assume it'd be set for a 2015 release if that's their next project.
I like the idea of Alternating Prosecutors. It'd probably be Edgeworth, Franziska and Future Kay? If it were to happen after GK2, then I doubt they'd drag Klavier in (Unless they expand on his story with Kristoph.)
