Fun fact: They covered exactly 2 manga chapters in this episode. At this rate they need to cover 2 per episode, and a couple of times 3, and they'll close the arc with huge reveals. Either that, or they leave those for season 2, since this season's set for 25 episodes as far as I know.

Due to spoilers, I already know what some of those reveals are (and there were certainly some hints to them in this episode), but now it's waiting for how the get revealed, as opposed to just the revelations themselves.
And Jean continues to be a bloody good character, after being so adamant that he would never go outside the walls in the beginning.

*attempts to speculate* Hmm... I vote that female Titan is the Colossal Titan's sister/cousin/other female relative, simply because they both lack skin. That, or she's at a pre-evolved stage or something. Considering the female seems significantly more intelligent and powerful than the regular ones, perhaps the reason why mankind has never recorded any sightings of female Titans is that no one lived to tell the tale?
And why do the Titans need extra teeth...? They can swallow humans whole...

Only 6 more episodes to go before season ends. They're probably ending the Female Titan arc, then keeping all the juicy reveals that have been happening in the manga for eps 12 and 13 of season 2, that is, the end of its first half. They have now officially covered up to chapter 25, just half though. Next half is for ep19.
Gettin' better and better'. Too bad we've gotta wait a year for the most juicy eps.

If it is only a year. I'm waiting for a third season of Kaiji since 2011 and still nothing has been announced. Of course, SnK is far more popular than Kaiji but I haven't heard anything about SAO's sequel either.
And yeah, I think it's pretty obvious who the Titan is and my thoughts have sadly been confirmed by spoilers on MAL. But still, the last two episodes were my favourite episodes so far and I can't wait for next sunday. Like every week. I won't touch the manga though, I prefer watching anime and reading the corresponding manga is like spoilering everything for me.

its the case with all manga that people like watching it rather than reading it. For me i think reading it is just as good since you can use more of your imagination on how everything moves and how each character would actually talk

I feel like I'm getting so addicted to this show now. All the characters effected by Eren, especially Mikasa and Armin, all go through a major change. Even Jean, the guy who wanted to join the Military Police just to get away from the Titans, even has a change of heart.
And when it comes to drama...this show definitely pulls no punches here.
I'm really liking AoT so far, and I hope Season Two gets better from here. :)
