Correction, it's one of the best movies ever made; period. I've personally seen every single Studio Ghibli film. I think Princess Mononoke might be my favorite.
Have you seen The Castle of Cagliostro yet? It's just as good Studio Ghibli, though that's probably because Hayao Miyazaki directed it.

Oh I hope it's another Minecraft one! That's the only time I ever have any contact with something connected to Minecraft and I quite like it that way. I don't get the appeal for minecraft... And I still have to re-watch his Terraria one, because I wasn't really paying attention last time.

The latter of which is exactly my kind of series, goes from being quite humorous in some instances to horrifying torture five minutes later to "what the fuck is going on here?" (In the good, mystery way, not the "this makes no sense" way). Only watched the first episode, since there's only mobile broadband at my mum's >.<
Speaking of watching, got a Firefo extension that lets you watch US Netflix. Why the hell is US Netflix so much better?

You know, I like the Anime. It's definitely inferior to the manga, although I have to say, having SuperS focus on Chibiusa, my favorite, more than the manga, where it focused on Sailor Moon and that stupid rose-shadow illness, was a great touch. Plus, the music~
Watashi-tachi ni Naritakute and Rashiku Ikimasho are such great songs~

I only have the former song in Orgel Fantasia version, but it's definitely nice to listen to.
I haven't read the manga so I can't comment on the differences. I finally got to watch Super S all the way through about four years ago. The Chibi-Usa/Pegasus stuff is definitely cute though some of it drags on in the middle. I seem to remember being amused by Fish Eye's antics as well.

I guess it does drag in parts... I missed some of the episodes when they were shown in Germany, so some I don't know. But overall, it's definitely a very cute relationship and I think it's even more believeable than UsagixMamoru - in terms of anime (where the producer admitted that he hated Mamoru and made him a jerk on purpose, so the producer also didn't like Chibiusa all that much, either, since she's his kid and made her suffer) and the manga (where I feel like they only got together because they are Serenity and Endymion reincarnated)
Plus... Chibiusa has the most character development out of the senshi. Usagi matures into a soldier and becomes the invincible one and all, but Chibiusa changes from a girl with no power, to a competent soldier and finally a young lady. This is more noticeable in the manga, though, since SuperS focused more on comedy at times...

Well, that's the thing with NGE, it's a deconstruction of (amongst others) the Super Robot genre. And other elements. And stuff. But indeed, Shinji is really tiring at times...
My favorite deconstruction of the Super Robot genre is the opening for Chou Gattai Senshi 3-God V. Of course, technically, there is nothing but the opening.

I thought it was just an anime that got really freaking weird and intense towards the end. (People say Anno was in a depression when he started the anime and, when things got weirder, he was in therapy) I mean, heck, looking at the stuff I simply read about... giant... naked... Ren... thing... what?

Sure, you can view it as a deconstruction of the mecha genre, and it does deconstruct a lot of the tropes therein. I view it as more of a cosmic horror, though, it's got all the prerequisites for it.

Freaking earworm!
I like madness and all that, especially if it makes me wonder if the madness is real or just in one of the character's heads... but what I have looked at from the nightmare fuel page, I'd rather not.
The 3rd Digimon season was awesome, especially since it became so dark later on. I think I was too young to remember most of the later episodes, I think I missed them, but I remember some creepy imagery. But I also missed out on some of the creepyness, probably because I didn't understand it.

Anyway, back on topic, still watching one of the greatest shows to ever appear on TV: Babylon 5. About two-thirds of the way through the fourth season, which is my favourite one alongside the third.

Hate Gendo, he's more deserving of it. And out of interest, are you watching the Director's Cut of the series? That's what I watched without realising it was one, and there's a few added scenes in episodes that are certainly helpful in understanding things.

Most of them are trying to do good, just plagued by personal issues. Gendo is, well, Gendo Ikari. He has some issues, too, but no way is he acting in anyone's interests but his own.
