Hey! It's E.D.Revolution. I'm not an artist, but have made some graphics for trials on AAO. I'll post up my practical arts here.
At the moment, I have no spriting skills, so all I can post are sprite edits.

I have four main rules:
Spoiler:
  1. I own everything on this thread, so if you want to use any of my stuff, I must have express written consent before I allow you to use it (read: reply or PM me).
  2. You may request me to do something, but please read the notices on every section before you ask.
  3. You may post an edit of my sprites as help without permission.
  4. If you are going to use my stuff as part of your avatar or sig, you must host them yourself. The credits must be visible on the signature. (Make your life easier and put them on the first line).

Requester clause:
  • Some of the work I have listed here are requests. Since I do work for both AAO and CR, I'm going to list the requester on the work.
  • Requester clause states that if you have requested the work, you have exclusive rights to use it. However, if it's used in a project and it's abandoned, you will lose exclusivity.
  • Inversely, if you are requesting to use work I have made for others, please seek permission from the requester. If they are active, I need to see proof of permission. If they are not active, I reserve the right whether or not to allow the use of it. Most of the time I will say yes, though.

Note: You can only find my work on AAO and CR. If they appear anywhere else, please PM me or notify me somehow. I appreciate it.

Request status: On, but variable.

I can make VS screens for anyone, but try to catch me when I'm not too busy. If you want a VS screen and it's not listed, just tell me who's facing who, and which character is positioned where. By default, any character on the top is facing right and anyone on the bottom will face left. Try not to ask me to do those screens, because I have a guide on it. Ask me ONLY if you can't do it. And you MUST host them yourself and credit me.

Also, I need to know if you're using them exclusively for Rebuttals or as part of Cross Examination graphic. Why? I have to animate them differently, with timers and such. I also need to know the width of the VS lines you want. AA or AAI. IF any of the sprites is an AAI sprite, it will automatically be an AAI VS sprite.

So requests for VS sprites should be in this format:
Quote:
  • Who VS Who
  • What style? AA or AAI. (Remember, if one of them is AAI, it's auto AAI)
  • Why? (Avatar or fancase)
    • If for fancase, you will have least priority since I prefer to do this when you're about to release it.
    • Under the same token, show me proof that you're almost done.
    • If you have a custom VS sprite, please give me the files so I can animate with it.
  • Preferred due date. Must be at least one week from the time of request.
    • For fancases, though. You have one month after I accept the request to complete or almost complete your fancase or part of your case. If not done by that time, you will not get your VS screen.

If any more specific than this, I'd rather you PM me this.

Mia Fey: Ace Spirit Attorney Sprite Set

This is the sprite set that will appear in my signature case Mia Fey: Ace Spirit Attorney. This set will debut starting with Case 2 on.
Image
Spoiler: Young Mia Fey (Available to use with permission!)
ImageImageImage
Restrained!Mia A combination of serious and muted emotes, I hope this is.

Image
Mia thinking then shaking her head. Will probably improve on timing later.

ImageImageImage
Arrogant!Mia. This time, she's arrogant. Not in the confident type, where she hair flips. She'll simply look away and talk down on you. :franny:

ImageImageImage
Irritated!Mia. This time she's getting irritated with certain witnesses and certain stubborn prosecutors. :godot:

ImageImage
Migraine!Mia. Now she's really getting a headache with VERY stubborn and incompetent witnesses. :x
Though I might wanna add a few pixels to show she's getting a migraine.

Image
Spoiler: Lana Skye. Credits for bases go to Unas, Tap, and Dypo. (Permission Required!)
ImageImage
Normal Set

ImageImage
Thinking Set 1: Thumb. One of two thinking sets. This one is for situations that are less serious in nature and don't require as much thought. Though if someone wanted to create a top screen thinking graphic similar to this... *coughhuddinimlookingatyoucough*

ImageImageImage
Thinking Set 2: Finger Tap. The second of the thinking sets. This can also be considered a mocking pose, as she doesn't look at the witness/judge/Mia once. :P

ImageImage
Serious Set. Obviously when she's being very serious. Though not quite like...

ImageImage
Annoyed Set. When the defense starts to annoy Lana to hell or when she's really glaring at the defense, judge or the witness. Trust me, you don't want to be in the receiving end of her glare, for guess what she'll do to you when she calls you to her office? :fran:

ImageImage
Oh my! Set (aka "Softening pose"). Can be used in a variety of situation where Lana is "softening" herself. When she's curious, when she's saying "Oh I'm sorry" or when she's pleasantly surprised.

ImageImageImage
ImageImage
Tablet Set 1: With Stylus. The original set didn't have the stylus animated, so I decided to do something about it. There's a reason there's five in this set.

ImageImage
ImageImage
Tablet Set 2: Touchscreen. Depends on the technology available in "2015" :P

ImageImage
ImageImage
Tablet Set 3: Left Hand Hold. Useful when she's just looking at the set of data she has for the evidence.

ImageImage
ImageImage
Disappointed Sets. There's a reason she's not even attempting to look at you. You have disappointed her!

ImageImage
Nervous Sweat Set. This is the true iteration of her nervous sweat sprite, prosecutor style. Too easy to go for a Mia base, not so easy to do a true one.

Image
Damage Sprite. Obviously, you know she's been defeated when you get her to bite her thumb off. Do that several times, and we'll need a medic to restore her blood. :P

ImageImageImage
Desk Slam. Credits to Sligneris for help on the arm and hand.

ImageImageImage
:objection:

Other Spritework

Image
Spoiler: Bruce Goodman sprites. Credit for base goes to Mikker. Requires permission from me and Huddini. Requested by Huddini for Turnabout Generations.
The first six poses have a hat and hatless version.
ImageImage
ImageImage
Normal set

ImageImage
ImageImage
Worried set

ImageImage
ImageImage
Confident set

ImageImage
ImageImage
Serious set

ImageImage
ImageImage
Huff set

ImageImage
ImageImage
Scared set
ImageImage
Profile pose. Aka, side pose. No hatless version on this one.

ImageImage
Hide. Best used when your character doesn't feel like revealing himself right away or if he's hiding something. :P

ImageImage
Arm/Disarm startup poses. The arm goes with hide!gun and the disarm goes with hide.

ImageImage
Hide!Gun. Take cover.

ImageImage
Serious!Gun. Basically, "I have a gun and I'm not afraid to use it. Don't f*** with me."

Image
Shoot. This meant to stand alone, especially when your witness does get mad. This is almost calling for "I Just Shot Marvin in the Face!" :P

ImageImage
Surprised.

Spoiler: Mugshots/Evidence (Free to use, no credit needed but appreciated)
Image
She's a random female victim. Was supposed to be a base for a full crossover sprite I had in mind but I wasn't confident in my ability to do a full sprite.

Image
Black gloves are VERY prominent in the AA world. :damon:

Image
People are always asking for a Maya mugshot based on her older appearance.

ImageImage
Two versions of a White Knight chess piece. One, from GK2, the other a generic 2d version.

Spoiler: Mia Edits (Do not use!)
Image
Mia really means serious business! You do NOT want to mess with her. Didn't bother with the mouth, since it's too much effort to get the evil effect. Will work on it later.

Image
Just because she's wearing white doesn't mean she's an angel. In fact, I think she's turning into her own worst enemy. In more ways than one. Inspiration: Dahlia Hawthorne. :P

Image
You never know what might happen when you try to take advantage a very powerful spirit medium. But I would suggest you run before she even goes there! Inspiration: Shin Bison from Street Fighter EX 3.

Spoiler: Competition Sprites (Use with permission)
Image
Lyn!Mia V1
Whenever Mia goes to an anime convention with Maya, she ALWAYS cosplays as Lady Lyndis (Lyn) from Fire Emblem 7. :mia:
Competition: Crossover
Ranking: Unranked :payne:

Image
Sissel/Yomiel!Phoenix V1
Yomiel has officially possessed Phoenix Wright. Udgey, Franziska, Edgeworth, Manfred, Godot, Kristoph... be afraid. Be VERY afraid! :phoenix:
Competition: Crossover
Ranking: 3rd

Image
As an added bonus, I'm doing a sheet of Sissel. Yes, it's a PW edit, but it works due to his poses.

Image
Miyo Fey. Yes, she got sex-reassignment surgery at 18 and became this Korean hunk. More quiet than Mia was in her first cases, I would say.
Competition: Rule 63
Ranking: 7th

Image
Franz von Karma. Yes, Manfred had a son, and this is his official debut outfit.
Competition: Rule 63
Ranking: 7th

Image
Dahlia!Mia. For what reason would she be dressing as her? :gregory:
Competition: Halloween
Rank: 4th place

Image
Devil Kazuya Mishima. You want PW in the best Halloween costume? Hit up Kazuya Mishima and he'll help you out.
Competition: Halloween
Rank: 1st

Your versus screens are great. That custom one you made, the red and blue one, is really cool! I'm no good at those and it's hard to find people who would do it too.

Expect a few requests from me in the future... ^_^'

Major Bumpdate!

I have two new competition sprites for AAO's Rule 63 comp, which ends in two days. It's now under the "Competition sprites" entry.

Also, I've added another Mia Fey middle finger pose.

And I has logo! (though if this should go in graphics, please tell me.)

If I can be arsed to finish the whole set, sure. However, that'll probably take a long while. So use PW as a base for now.

May I say, I like these works but...

...with the Mia and Lang thing, why aren't you letting people use it? And (just saying) if someone were to use it, wouldn't it be impossible to claim they're stealing your work, considering that you didn't create anything?

Don't get me wrong, I can appreciate the work you've done. It must've taken some time! I'm just finding it odd that you aren't allowing people to use it and if they did, it can't really be proven that you made it.

Thanks! : D

Please excuse my rant, but it annoys me when people say that. Most of these, I did, in fact, create. If not create, compose. The Mia VS Lang thing... That is my true signature VS. It is currently in use. I won't allow anyone to use it at all. In fact, I have already started to put the DS version into a fancase. And I do have witnesses that can attest to me creating/composing these works.

I wasn't accusing you of not making them. But I'm saying, that...pretend if there was a situation in which I wanted to make a MiavsLang testimony intro. And then I made it. It would look identical to yours. See, honestly, all you did was animate. And I'm not saying that's an easy feat, it can be quite hard! There's a reason nobody else has made these, it isn't easy to make the intros. But if I applied myself, I could. And I could make a MiavsLang testimony intro. Good job on making them, I know it wasn't easy. It's difficult to compose such things but you didn't create any original characters or sprites, just applied already made ones. I'm sorry if I'm offending you and I'm not asking to use them but really, I think it's a bit arrogant to ask people not to use something, they can spend an hour working on. It's just wasting people's time, really.

Anyway, apologies for that. I like your sprites but I have some criticisms. Lana's head is...grotesquely too large for her body but I understand it's too late to change it. You're not making a career of these so for the purpose of which you made them, they're perfect and they work well. They convey what you want to be conveyed which is Lana in court and you've done some creative work by applying the idea of a tablet. Everything about the sprites work really well and convey a multitude of emotions with well times animations that is difficult to achieve in most amateur sprite work. The only problem would be the head and the male hand in her objection pose. I'm not asking you to fix the head, it would be incredibly difficult and not worth the time. Good job!

The Bruce Goodman sprites are fantastic in almost every way. There's a good variety of poses and emotions and it works very well. I will say though, that Goodman wasn't figured in Gumshoe's size. He was much smaller and thinner as seen in his ID and in the flashback of his conversation with Gant (although, just in silhouette form). I think if you tweaked the facial features slightly, maybe add a few details to the outfit/hat and perhaps change the colour, you could have a really good original character which I think might be a wise way to go. They are fantastic sprites and since they're for a fangame, they do the job but I think you should rework it to make your own character.

Well, there were some paragraphs! Shabadoobydoo and I'm out.

It's not that the sprites are bad. They're really really good. Just her head's the size it is in her normal sprite. For the bench sprites, the distance between the character and the "camera" is longer and thus they're slightly smaller. It's noticeable here with Edgeworth, for example:

Image Image

If you were to edit his head onto the bench sprite, it would look grossly large, wouldn't it? That's just my point. I mean, we're just fans making sprites, it's not a big deal. They're really well made for what they are! I'm just saying, that her head wouldn't be that size from that angle but despite that, you've shown creativity in poses and have done some marvelous edits! Well done!

About the Lang vs Mia thing... Because of some... problems with the fancase, I might be able to release this from its restriction some time later. This was gonna be used in a case that I was a collab for. However, since the trial is pretty much dead and I contributed over 66% of the work done on it, I'm claiming back the rights of the Lang vs. Mia. Meaning, if this was to be used just for somebody's case, I can't release it as per requester clause. But since I own the sprite and have did a lot of the work going to that collab's case, I am taking back the rights to use it.

Thanks, man. I was lucky to receive the original set by Tap when I needed a Lana one. Yeah, I recognized that the head is too big as I was redoing these. Even Percei told me to redo it. I ignored him. :wellington: Yeah, it's going to be a colossal waste of my time to redo these just to fix the head. These work pretty well for trial use.

For the tablet sprites, yeah I made some major changes from the original set. The original had no moving stylus which made on sense. I tried to model the stylus after Young Ema's notebook pose. The way the tablet sprites are meant to be used is this: You can use Set 3 by itself. But you can't use Set 1 and 2 together. Gotta have some consistency with the technology.

Oh and I noticed something odd about your paragraph here...

Yeah, I realize this now. But take a look at Mikker's Original and his 2nd iteration. They both have him as too fat :garyuu: .
Yeah, I know he's a bit big for his size but what can you do? The thing about the size was that it uses elements from Edgeworth and Gumshoe to create this. The body is mostly of Edgeworth's though. I simply resized Gumshoe's huff sprite to make a model which I can use to make him huff.

You may or may not know this but this was made specifically for Turnabout Generations. Not all poses were used, though, lol.

As for making this into an OC, what kind of details are you thinking of? If I were to make this into an OC, that'd be a very long way coming since I am not ready to pen another case yet haha.

You should have a look at Turnabout! and Turnabout Generations to see how Lana and Bruce are being used, respectively. Trial thread here and here, respectively once again.

By the way, if anyone wants to attempt to try to do the zoom sprite, they're welcome to do it. I have a sprite but I'm not quite satisfied with it.

Hey man on the Bruce Goldman set, he was tailored to my specification for turnabout generations (the court gallery sprite, if i was allowed to post it here, would show you just how big of a guy the bruce goodman OC sprites was meant to be)

You shouldn't fault ED on this, blame me ^^'. As I personally requested ED to hook me up with a revamp/recreation of mikkers set towards my vision for use in an AAO fancase.

Thank, guys! :D

I think it was already mentioned that the Goodman sprites were made for Turnabout Generation. What I forgot to mention is that these were created specifically as a request from Huddini to use for the case, as stated above. For this reason, there is a requester clause on that set of sprites. Meaning, if you do want to use it, you do have to ask Huddini for permission. It is a rule I have maintained from AAO.

I've modified the thread to reflect the rules. Basically, ask and you shall receive. However, if X member is active on CR, I can't release them without their consent.

Would it be at all possible to use your Lana attorney sprites for a webcomic I'm making?

If used, I would give credit to you on the bottom of each page and it would be greatly appreciated. :will:

Thank you so much for letting me use your sprites! :edgey:

I posted a thread about the webcomic here http://forums.court-records.net/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=28492

I have to redo the first page with unedited Lana sprites because it's going to take considerable time to change your Lana to have a black uniform since I would have to convert it into a spritesheet, and then spend a considerable time after that to change only the coat's colour. :pearl:

I'll hook you up with a sprite sheet since I had to take it down after I noticed some colorization issues

Do you have the spritesheet already finished, or would you have to compile it yourself?

I already started to compile it, I finished splitting all the gifs, and now I'm just putting them on the spritesheet itself.

(2/39 gifs compiled on the spritesheet, whoooooo!)

He has a complete spritesheet iirc, but like he said hes sorta fixing it so it's up to quality.its probably in your best interest to wait for his new spritesheet version, since youll be using an older version of his sprite set, which is wasting your time too having to compile one yourself

Between the time of posting my last comment and this one, I already compiled 28/39 gifs into a single spritesheet, and while it may not be as good quality as the one E.D Revolution can do (assuming the sprites in his personal one are updated after he uploaded the individual gifs, he simply said he took the spritesheet itself down due to colourization errors.) it's good practise and I feel a small bit of pride in having gathered all of them, split them up into different folders, and then having compiled the unique sprites into a neat and orderly fashion.

...Plus it's making me appreciate having actual spritesheets alot more since I was almost in the mindset that they were just exported as a spritesheet. (I modded games in which it was, such as Pokemon for the trainer overworld and variant pokemon battle sprites.)

It's not really difficult, it's just time consuming, but the payoff is some sort of experience or patience if nothing else. :trucy:

...Wait, you needed to change color only?

I could do that with gifs...

Well, I myself only need to change Lana's uniform to a black variant to fit in with my webcomic, which in itself isn't all that complicated.

While the uniform shares 2 or 3 colour with the uniform, I can just create a top layer of the unedited hair to paste on over the modified jacket, or use the selection tool to work around the hair.

But, if you want to, then... I guess you could modify the sprites?

And for my personal use, it would work best as a spritesheet as animated gifs (in my version of photoshop anyway) I can only work on the first image, I needed to use a gif splitter to even access the rest of the sprites in the gifs, and I'm using it in a static webcomic, although, it DID occur to me before to have actual animated sprites in each panel, I just thought that would make it seem a little cluttered.

...Now I want to actually try an animated page, it won't take any more effort than a normal page, I just need to use gifs.... I think.

But if I did an animated webcomic page, what's stopping me from just doing it as a straight up flash animation?

...Hm.

I might actually try to do a small flash animation of a page or two now...
