Seriously?! My friend who forced me to watch all of Bieber's movies will be heartbroken! Aww, but it seems like a joke. I guess I'm not free from the pain, then. :sadshoe:

Best of luck, in any case!

I hope to be published if I get it good enough! It's going to be quite a long story, though, so it'll be a work in progress for quite some time! And, thank you, hopefully it'll turn out how I want! :maya:

I just randomly remember how, during a two-week summer camp, I was teased and got the nickname "Shtraschiatella" (pronounced like that, they mean Stracciatella) because I corrected a kid that mispronounced it. And I was around 12 years old at the time... those little brats!
And people wonder why I stopped trying to make friends.

Vent station's open Cat, don't have to dump it here though kids are just dumb, I'd look back and think "That's a really silly thing to try and insult someone over" and just chuckle about it. Hardly matters now after all.

I didn't vent about that, I merely pointed out how my brain randomly thought about it.

You know, something really weird just happened... after reading Life as far as it was scanlated, I wanted to read the "spiritual predecessor" - ie. similar concept - by the same mangaka called "Vitamin". I go for the first chapter and...

1. The names are obviously all Korean. Now, this didn't bother me, I figured they used Korean raws to translate, it gets done at times.

2. The art style looked very much not like Suenobu Keiko's. I mean, this is the first chapter I read. And this the manga's listed cover.

Next three chapters are labelled 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 and I thought, eh, maybe the page uploaded the first chapter again in three parts. It's happened before. But then the art seemed to change so... I have no idea what this is... I guess this is a sidestory drawn by someone else? Or however Vitamin first got onto the page, the wrong thing was uploaded.

Hihi, so weird.

The only work I've read by this manga was 'Limit'. If you had not said that the cover of Vitamin was by her, I'd have never believed it.
Ah, well, many mangaka go through massive style changes, so I guess this was one of those. Baka Updates says that Vitamin should be completely by her, so either the pages by the scanlator were mixed up, or some weird stuff is going on. 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 usually means the chapter's been separated into parts because it was too long or something, or that it's part of a particular arc. Common with shojo series especially.
Since Limit also had bullying themes (although it was more 'survival' mixed with small 'school life' elements) I think this mangaka enjoys using that concept.

Yeah, I think it's a mix up - apparently this korean manwha is also called Vitamin and they somehow got smashed together... I'm guessing, cause I had to fudge and look around for the actual manga's chapters. It's only 3 Chapters long and while it did focus on the bullying and the mental anguish the heroine was going through because of it, I felt more like a Remember Your Dream thing, once she decides to not go to school anymore and just draws manga.

Big difference between Life and Vitamin is, that manga length is vastly different and how the heroine reacts to the bullying. As I said, I like Vitamin's heroine more, because she actually fought back pretty fast. She even has some pretty cool moments in the last chapter.

Although why they always fall for the "We're so sorry, let's be friends again-OmG she actually believed us, ahahaha, you're so stupid!" trap I never get... come on, people who bully you like that - dunking your head in toilets, stripping you and drawing on your body and taking pictures, wrapping you up in stuff and rolling/punching you - will not decide to be your friends again.
Even if they want to be, you don't believe them.

By the way, I saw this on TVTropes as a list on the formula of cases in Ace Attorney games.

Spoiler: Put in for Length
1. A case where either the lawyer the player controls being new, gaining amnesia or otherwise rusty who covers a case of utmost importance that leads to a plot point that will become very important later on. Justified in that this is the obligatory Tutorial Mode.
2. Two cases that are almost always unrelated to said plotpoints from the first case the player has to solve, one of which involves defending/prosecuting someone famous or is otherwise very high profile.
3. Another case that either related to the regulars or the player, will almost always throw back to the plot point in the aforementioned first case and usually has something to do with some kind of dilemma the regular in question has, solving it by the end.
4. Charlie. Or ladders.
4.1 sometimes a bonus case that either further relates to, or shoots a throwback of, the aforementioned plot point.
5. Sometimes having one of the regulars be accused of some kind of crime the player will have to defend them for or prosecute against with an exception or so that the regular had really did it, which may overlap with points 1-3.
Side-Note: At least one villain of the final case is always pure evil

How did you get money back from a guy for falling on the sidewalk? I didn't think it was privately owned.

In some places (in parts of the US and Canada for sure), if it was on land "belonging to" his house or business, he's responsible for clearing it/having it cleared and responsible for accidents that occur if he doesn't.

I'm kind of uncomfortable with the fact slipping on a sidewalk leaves someone potentially liable for property damage, but... welcome to America. That's how it happens.

Yeah thats what I was afraid was the case as I didn't quite get how he'd get money for someone other than that way, still doesn't seem necessarily fair to me but I guess if it's the law to keep the pavement clear in America it can't be helped.

yeah thats pretty much the deal. Here its important to keep the sidewalks clean in your property to prevent people from hurting themselves during snowy or icy conditions. Since he never cleaned it I fell on my way to my final right on his property which was his garage entrance I feel hard on my back landing on my messenger bag crushing my macbook and cracking the screen. Pretty much the guy's home owner insurance is supposed to pay for it. Coyote i'm sure if what happened to me happened to you i'm sure you would wan't some retribution. Its only fair

Here is a comicstrip that tells you how to not make an OC... at least, not for the Kuroshitsuji fandom. It's shockingly accurate. And I'm grateful that, while I may have an OC for Kuroshitsuji, she's nothing like that.

I'd be angry but I'd probably blame myself more for rushing along and not being careful to avoid an icy bit of ground. Though in general this is the sorta reason I don't carry my laptop around.

I'm just gonna point out that, just today, my mother and I both were a little slippy on some ground that did not look icy at all. We were weary of some lighter, slippy looking ground further along, but we still felt a little sliding going on on a part of pavement - close to a supermarket.
Oh and we were not rushing along.

My mother managed to sprain her leg or foot pretty badly a few years ago and she was standing still on snowy ground, did a slight turning motion and fell. So yeah, neither of those points actually works on this. Granted, this is Germany and we have more snow than some parts of America, but still.

Pretty much my point Cat. When I got out around my house I almost slipped as well even not rushing so I took it slow to the bus stop but I still fell after all the precaution I took. And Pierre I take my laptop because I take it to college to take my notes in and that day I took it in order to study.

It's winter, always assume Black Ice is a possibility, especially after rain or thawing. Though rushing along is right but if you go slowly you will only slide a little like you and your mother did at the supermarket. I'm talking about full on banana-peel slips that crush laptops here. Had my fair share of slips on ice and mud so I always take it carefully this time of year.

*shrug* I'm not going debate the physics of slipping on ice here.

Just think it's a shame that law doesn't seem especially fair :ron: Then again probably makes perfect sense if you've lived with it all your life I guess.

Well think of it this, If the same thing happened to you and you knew you weren't at fault wouldn't you seek the same retribution or would you walk away and pay for a accident that wasn't your fault?

In Germany, every person is required to clear their own steps and pathway to the pavement. This includes the garage area and pavement there. If you don't it's... it's called "Verkehrs"something I forget. Too distracted, must wash the dye out of my hair now.

But anyway, yeah. If he fell on what counted as part of somebody's personal property that they are in charge of and responsible for, he has to pay any damage done to the person that fell.

Exactly that's how it is over here. It's fair to because if you own a house it's your job to take better care of it especially during times of snow when you know people can get hurt. Plus that's why people have home owner's insurance for accidents like this.

See exactly. I know I only take it out from when I'm going to school so now I'm taking more precaution for the future.

Yeah would just have to walk away with the damage but perhaps it's even a law here in Britain and I'm just not aware of it :ron:

You thought you could be safe in your courts, with your laws and attorneys to protect you. In this world only I am law, my word is fact, my power is absolute.

I have a question: am I the only person who gets absolutely neausiated, disgusted and feels sick when she hears people having sex?

I'm fucking serious here, DoMaya.

And yeah, I sure am jealous. I am so jealous, whenever I hear it, I want to crouch into a corner, cry waterfalls and tear my face with my fingernails while a tornado is churning in my stomach and I want to stick my finger down my throat and puke as much as I can so I don't have to hear it anymore.

*wonders if Cat remains completely silent when having sex*
Is it a turn off if the other person is moaning?

If it's a neighbor issue, I think I can understand. Especially if you are trying to sleep and suddenly hear a loud "hmmmmm" "ooooooh" "awnnnnn"

Eh, that makes sense. But you know what you do? Record them, and then stick it under their door or put it in their mailbox or something and leave a note: "I can hear you."

It works.
