When I am in arguments with people I will sometimes shout HOLD IT! or OBJECTION! when they contradict themselves, I will also find myself pointing at them and wagging my finger similar to how Edgeworth does in his arguments when pointing out contradictions

Me and my sibling watched an episode of QI, and when they mentioned a stepladder we looked at each other, wide-eyed with a rather amused expression.

This isn't about me, but I was rather impressed by my sibling, who recently slept at my place. We both went to bed early (rather hungover and tired after partying hard at new year's perhaps?) but since I'm not used to go to bed earlier than 3.00-something-something, I woke up a few hours later and decided to watch some of the Dual Destinies-playthrough (since I don't own a DS, much less a DS 3D). I forgot to put my headphones in, so the speakers blasted out some music for a second or two. The next day I asked them if they heard the Ace Attorney-music, and they replied: No... Wait, I heard Simon Blackquill's music for a few seconds!
That's probably not very impressive at all, but as someone who's freakin' terrible at recognizing what music belongs to what thingie, I congratulated them slightly since it was a small thingie-thinigie that just woke them up for a short while.

You know you play too much Phoenix Wright when:
You drink coffee even though you hate it, just so you could be like Godot.
Whenever someone mentions a ladder, you always have to correct them, calling it a stepladder. (Guilty!)
You get arrested by cops and handcuffed, then hurt yourself by trying to smash the cuffs against a wall like Blackquill.
You try to imitate the character's animations in your day to day life, for example imitating one of their "thinking" animations when you're in deep thought. (Guilty!)
You watch an actual trial on TV, and are disappointed in the lack of desk slamming and finger pointing. (Guilty!)

When one starts to find Kristoph endearing... just because of some jest-conversations with one's sibling.
There is a joke-song-thingie-youtube-video where a guy sings to his "daddy" after slapping him with a pizza, at one point he sings "Oh, daddy, oh, daddy, you're simply the best, daddy, you look so worn all the time..." and so on.
Anyhow! My sibling told me that they first, before playing Apollo Justice and only having seen some sprites and pictures, thought that Kristoph was Klavier's father. Then I sang (or wrote on Skype, whatever), pretending to be Klavier: "Oh, Kristoph, oh, Kristoph, you're simply the best, Kristoph..." And it was, aww, Klavier thinks Kristoph is the best person in the world.
To make matters worse, we sang it when they last visited me, we celebrated new year's together and were to have a hungover lunch eating pasta. "We have to make pasta for Kristoph too, he's hungry, he loves pasta... And he is a guest after all." Then we bought pizza for dinner. "Kristoph is hungry again. He loves pizza. But that's a secret. He loves really greasy pizza. Now Kristoph is hungry as hell. Oh, he loves pizza... This will be so nice for him..."

So, Kristoph, the best person in the world who absolutely loves pizza... That is... rather cute. :kristoph:

...you have a fit because you've put away some old Nintendo-magazines and now you don't know where they are, and you know that in one of them there is a review of Apollo Justice and you really really I mean really want to read it (sure, I like to read reviews of games/movies/books I've already played/seen/read, so there are other reviews I'd like to read as well, especially since I know I actually read them, and I'm not sure I read the AJ-review back then, and sure, it'd be nice to maybe get some tips on other DS-games now that I've started playing DS again, but hell. I guess, when you several times have started to, or nearly started to laugh in public when you're alone because you're thinking about some funny AA-dialogue. Hm, that felt like an overly complicated way to describe something simple.

I just mentioned Professor Layton in the AAI-version of this thread, but you know you play too much Phoenix Wright when you play Professor Layton and try to "turn your thinking around" when stuck in a puzzle. "Hm, maybe I shouldn't focus on figuring out why X is Y, but rather how Y... hm." It has helped me a little, but of course it's easier when you actually know what questions to ask yourself.

...when you're waiting for a bus to take you to school, definitely not up for the task, bloody cold outside and the bus is nowehere to be seen and you stand there repeating to yourself: "I'm fine. I'm fine. I'm not fine... I'm fine. My name is Alex and I'm fine. 'MY NAME IS APOLLO JUSTICE AND I'M FINE!' Yeah, I'm fine..."

...and then, a couple of hours later, you decide to go and fix I don't remember what it was, and you think "Okay, let's do this!" and immediately after: "What the hell am I doing?"

...and in general, when something frustrating happens, you think to yourself: "Lang Zi says: Aiyaaaah!" Image

...and whenever someone says something stupid, you automatically see this in your mind. Image

Yeah, I find it good as a distracting thing. Also when I'm nervous about something coming up, "I'm fine!" doesn't help a tad but at least it makes me think about other things: AA, i.e something I like, and I guess "I'm fine" is more constructive than "Gaaaah noooo get me out of here someoneee I'm gonna dieee" :apollo:

No, hopefully he'll at least have something to put in his mouth I didn't just do that.

So, in order to keep this civilized: You know you play too much Phoenix Wright when a classmate of yours dressed up a little more than usual for the day, wearing make up, high heels and a red leather jacket, and when you see the person, all you can think of is Bansai Ichyinagi because of said leather jacket. ...I don't think that was the look they were going for.
