It's been a few months since the last release, but the AAI2 fan translation team has just put out a new patch for the game covering cases one through three! You can get the patch here:

That said, I found my save states (something different entirely) were corrupted and unusable, so BEFORE you make changes, if you primairly use save states (like me!) SAVE YOUR GAME PROPERLY FIRST! That is all

I do not believe so...I heard something about not being able to advertise any ROMs on the site. We can only advertise that we are working on a patch. Something along those lines. But if anyone can help this poor fellow...you would be a good Samaritan.

Nevermind that, my computer refused to repatch a patched rom, but I patched a clean rom, gave it the name i gave the case 1-2 rom, and then deleted the 1-2 rom and got to keep my desmume saves.

Two cases are still left, however they're mostly translated. Although this doesn't mean the patch will be out in the very near future, because after the translation is done most of the work is still waiting. Text insertion is also a very big part and of course proof-reading, testing, fixing, etc.. I don't know how much of the text is already inserted, but they're on a very good way.

Use the old ROM from 1-2 with that save file, load the save, and then save again when you officially clear the case and the 3rd one appears on the episode select screen (The warning tells you to save after the message, not on the message itself). Then use that save for the 1-3 ROM. That should hopefully fix it.
If you didn't play the 1-2 patch, then you need to start from the beginning. If not, you're meant to save after finishing case 2 (i.e "The Inherited Turnabout" should appear on the episode select of the 1-2 patch), then after you've patched the game (Patch a clean ROM, not the one you used for cases 1-2), then just use the same save file (name the .nds and the .sav the same, i.e: GK2Eng.nds and GK2Eng.sav) and it'll work fine.

EDIT: Never mind, got it. Somehow.
EDIT 2: Never mind again; I can only get a sneak teaser of case 3 on the file I've already played. I have a new one (well, new copy of the game) that I think would go up to case 3 but I would have to play through the first two cases again. What exactly do I have to do to fix this?

Though, I still refuse to play this game until every one all of the cases have been translated. I wish Capcom did something about this game themselves. But it's far too late, now that we have unofficial translators working on this, and the game system had its run.

I've downloaded that, but I don't know what to actually do with it (I have Openemu). Does anyone know? I've got it as a .sav file but I have no clue how to proceed from here.
