I don't know what that means.
Basically I just draw everything in the Gamemaker 8 sprite editor, save each unique frame, and piece it back together on this gif making site I use.

I used to use BGM (Beneton GIF Maker) on my Windows to make gifs before Photoshop. It's free and easy to use (It also gives you some effects like greyscale for your animations)

Those look real nice! You may want to neaten the outlines (Make some of the thicker ones thinner, and add some more detail to those lines.)
That close up looks nice though! just add the rest of the outline to his tie, and for the regular pose, add an outline the top of his right hand. Other than that, nice style!

Now I'm not artist but I figured I'd share some things I noticed about your sprites.
Firstly, I think it's mis-proportioned, as in too tall. I made a quick comparison graphic here:
She's a whole head and a half taller than both of them! Luckily, this one can easily be fixed by just cutting the whole skirt-portion off. Then she'll be at the right height for a bench sprite.
Secondly, the cravat looks... wrong. Compare it to Edgeworth's, and you'll see the difference. Edgeworth's looks like it's actually a 3d piece of fabric, whereas Angelina's looks like a cardboard cut-out of one. I'd suggest just frankenspriting Edgeworth's, it'll save you some time.
And finally, the shading on the grey vest is a bit off. The dark is too... well, dark, I think, and it clashes.
Anyway, the sprite itself is good! You just need to fix those couple of problems.

The prosecution's argument is only half liable!
The problem here is that your comparison has their sprites at the bottom rather than where they sit on the screen in the actual game. Here's another comparison placing everyone where on the game's screen they lay (I'm aware of Edgey and Franny's color quality).
Here they are in court, behind the bench.
Most bench sprites aren't draw to go all the way down; they don't need to be.
Had they been placed they way you're comparing them, they'd be a tad short.
The defense rests.
I will, however, fix the cravat situation, and now that I'm seeing the two side-by-side, Lena is a little tall. I'm not sure If she's supposed to be taller or shorter than Edgeworth. Fanatic, can you confirm this?
