Sorry about the delays (I've been more focused on spriting), but here are some character info for Case 2!

Krystine Collins, 22, Singer: A pop singer who debuted before Athena returned to the US, going by the stage name of "Krystal" (No, I did not copy Star Fox!). But when her manager is murdered before her next concert, Krystine ends up as the defendant, and it's up to Athena to defend her!

Dante Kurr, 22, Rapper: The defendant's childhood friend, and a rap singer who was to feature in her next concert before the manager's death. Don't mean to be racist, but he's white. His style is just like Bret from Flight of the Conchords in the song "Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros". (Rapping about reality)

Hey dude, Just a random thought, But are you going to make sure you have consistent grammar, because THAT is the difference between a good case and an amazing case, you get me?

What does 'consistent grammar' mean?

Proper English, no spelling or punctuation mistakes. Unlike some of the DD script, and papasbuddy. (No offense!)

Regarding the Mood Matrix in PyWright, I actually tried to do something like it in an AAO case I did a while back.

It basically involves complete Mood Matrix background images where normally someone would be at the witness stand testifying. 'Press' will behave like it normally does and following a 'Hold it!' the witness will say more things about the statement.

Then the player is told to 'Present' the Mood Matrix (as evidence) on a statement where there is an unusual feeling. It only works on one statement, so the player will have to get that right first or will not be able to pinpoint. Once the right statement is selected, the player is asked to examine the area of the image (like you would a crime photo) and direct the cursor over the correct emotion.

I know this is only slightly similar to how the real Mood Matrix works. I'm not too familiar with PyWright, but I figure if you can do it in AAO, then you can do it in PyWright. If you wanted to see, you can play the original case here. I never formally posted this because it's short, and was something I just made as a Dual Destinies Case 5 Parody more than a serious game. Sprites may not be properly given credits to. I think I used Aj3's Robin and Rajin's Phoenix and Athena.

I get it! So when you present the Mood Matrix, it automatically redirects to the image, and when you "pinpoint", I can just edit the script so that Apollo or Athena says "Got it!" instead of "Take that!"

Oh, and one more thing: This game might have a huuuge delay, due to the lack of a complete Athena sprite sheet. Once I get that, then the team is good to go. And in case you didn't know, here's the development team:

Production/Script: Me (If you have any ideas, just PM me.)
Sprites: VideoGameTaco
Coding: BonnyMono
Artwork: SuperAJ3, Me
Music: Me, the original composers, and a few open spots.
Voices: For the fan voices, it's just me and Rina-chan.
Credit to: Anyare for the Athena mugshot
mercurialSK for the Apollo co-counsel sprites
Abstronaut for the Apollo front sprites
Former C-R member Rajin for the DD Phoenix bench sprites

You know, I don't mean to tell you what to do... but why don't you, if you would rather start testing/debugging when the script is finished, use placeholder Mia sprites, instead of Athena sprites?

OK, guys! The script for Case 1 is now done. On the main post, I have made a list of the development team. If you want any jobs for this game, feel free to PM me.

On the other hand, I believe I have too many recurring characters...
Let's see here: Franziska von Karma, Miles Edgeworth, Juniper Woods, and Simon Blackquill. Wait, that's only four. As for why Blackquill is in this game, that relates to the fangame which will be developed after this one, Ace Attorney Legacies (Or Shin Gyakuten Saiban, whichever one sounds cooler.)

Development has NOT begun in PyWright. The script still needs to be edited. We do not have a script editor.

As for the script... I'm splitting up the script into multiple sections, which end after a "save point". The first case has two scripts total: Trial Day 1-1, and Trial Day 1-2.

Bad news: VideoGameTaco has resigned position as lead spriter, so the position is still open.

The good news? Mijumaru is working on the Athena sprites, so that's one thing down. Also, if anyone could do a bench sprite for Angelina, that would be awesome. GF out.

A tip; Perhaps use more meaningful screenshots, as opposed to simple and random bits that show nothing about the case. Hook your players, don't show off three different objection bubbles that tell us nothing that we don't know already.

Screenshots are a great way to flex off the best of your dialogue skills, don't waste it!

Script:
Additional Script Writer

Sprites:

My advice:

Skip the music composing, unless you choose to do it yourself. The only case writer I can think of off the top of my head who has had entirely new music made for their fangame was SilentBobX, and that was only one song. I can't remember fully, but I think he might have done it himself. Songwriting is going to be a bigger commitment than even spriting, so it's going to be harder to find somebody who will do that for free. It's much more convenient to just find stuff from other games or anime.

Just write the script yourself. You are the guy making the game, so you should be the one writing it. Unless you're doing a full collaboration with somebody else, there's not much need to add an additional writer. This isn't Hollywood where you need separate directors and screenwriters. It's just interactive fan fiction. You have a story you want to tell, so tell it yourself.

For sprites, it might help if you got help from people without requiring them to make a commitment to the project (that's assuming you don't just do the sprites yourself... which would actually be my number one recommendation). Needing a full commitment from one or two or three people is rather intimidating for anybody who knows how much work goes into making custom sprites, especially for what I assume is going to be a rather large cast. The way I see it, you can...
-Do the sprites yourself. It's hard at first, but after a bunch of practice, you could get really good at it.
-Pay people on Deviantart (or elsewhere) to make your sprites and other artwork.
-Use sprites from the AAO Resources: Random Characters to Use thread. There's a whole bunch you can use for free.
-Individually go to other spriters and request them to make one character at a time. If they're interested in your project and have some free time, they might agree to it. Many people are open for requests, as it gives them some time to practice their own abilities.
-Keep waiting for somebody to come around and agree to a full commitment as the lead spriter. Maybe you'll get lucky. However, the longer you spend waiting, the less interest people are going to have in this project, as they'll assume it's never going to get made.

It's your choice and your project. However, as somebody working on my own fangame, I would highly recommend that you take matters into your own hands, rather than waiting around for some good Samaritan to just drop by and agree to make everything for you.

Couldn't have said it better myself, but I'd like to add something to your "making sprites yourself" point:

Spriting is a skill, so even if you start out bad, don't feel discouraged. Keep trying! It took me years to get where I am in ability, but the effort I put into it has come out excellently. And spriting doesn't even need much anatomy lessons unless you're a scratch-spriter.

Spoiler: Examples of my own work to show skill gap

So, I'd agree with Ropfa that you should try to sprite by yourself. It'll be much more worth it in the long run, plus you'll be able to be more independent with your works.

Actually, I've attempted spriting myself. Here was the final result:

Also, I can't pay people to make sprites. I'm only 14.

As for the music, I create it using a gadget in LittleBigPlanet 2 for the PS3, the Music Sequencer. With the addition of the Move Pack, I have more instruments to mess around with.

So... other than the music and the sprites, you'd be able to release something? Ideally before the end of this year?

The longer you take to produce something the less likely you'll get sign-ups and stuff. Since this is on page 7 already. Just saying.

See, apart from some line errors and anti-aliasing issues, that really isn't all that bad. I've definitely seen a lot worse. But, you know... of course your sprites aren't going to be perfect immediately. It takes time to get good.
Though really, I still don't see why you can't just use his sprites from AJ:AA.

The main issue might be that you tried to do a full custom sprite right off the bat, rather than starting with something easier, like color swapping or frankenspriting. The first sprite I ever did was changing Iris' hair and robe colors to those of Pearl. I've come a long way since then, but it's only because I took the time to continue developing that skill. Try giving Phoenix green hair and an orange suit. Try putting Godot's hair on somebody else's head. Give Maya a beard and mustache. All of those are going to be a lot easier than making a completely new sprite and they will all help you build the necessary skills to work up to custom sprites, because you'll have a better idea of how the canon sprites are formed.
