I was playing Fatal Frame again, in the dark... at 1:00AM with no sound. My controller kept vibrating, things happened and then I boarded the Nope ship and set sail to Nopeville. :D

I can see the similarities; school environment, spend half your time chatting up girls and the other half killing ~~Shadows~~ monsters in dungeons, Engrishy J-pop battle music, etc.

Crusader Kings II. No one picks a fight with the Harunid Empire and wins, not even... wait for it... the Mongols. The Ilkhanate arrived in 1219. They put up a good fight, but I had the numbers and mobility necessary to defeat them. The big battles got me enough military technology points for me to improve my military organization by another level. My personal army has recovered and been replenished. It now numbers 90,000 and is already positioned in eastern Tatarstan (I like to Persianize the names of kingdoms and empires that I establish), ready for the Golden Horde when it arrives. I just hope they arrive soon. Every year I spend waiting for them is a year that I don't spend conquering Bengal and Rome.

Magical Melody - I'm in Fall and keeping my Stamina cheat on so I can check for Truffles... those goddamn truffles... :ron:

But as soon as I find one and ship it, I'm not bothering with them anymore. I really wanna get back to playing the game without a stamina cheat.

Devil Survivor Overclocked - I got to Amane's 8th day. I learned the difficult way that fighting Babel on her or Kaido/Naoya's path without a Tyrannt or any other mean of replenishing MP is a bad idea. But I made it past after some leveling and new demons. The Brand Of Death idea is sweet for the 8th day, but also kinda... uninspired. So similar to the death clock.

Currently doing the 2nd free time event in CH 1 of Danganronpa 2.

So far I got more hope fragments from Nanami,Komaeda,Gundam, and Peko. Got to buy some skills now with the hope shards which is a new feature of getting skills instead of free time events.

Sega's having a sale at Japanese PSN, so I picked up Kurohyou 2 (Black Panther), the spin-off to the Yakuza series on the PSP. The game focus more on fights than the main series and has a much more sophisticated battle system (including stamina, the ability to get wounded in certain parts of your body and different fighting styles), which takes a while to get used to. And the levels... it's been a while since I played a Yakuza, but I don't remember levels being so important. The game starts with protagonist Tatsuya returning to Kamurocho as a pro boxer and after the first introductionary fights, I'm allowed to walk around freely. I bump into a ganster who wants a fight with me and then I see that I'm a level 1 character with a level 1 proficiency in boxing, while my opponent is level 6 with the same level in street fighting. Wut?! The protagonist won an underground fight tournament in the last game, is a pro boxer now and is still outleveled (and in my case, also outclassed as I had only done two tutorial fights) by a random map fight?!

In my playthrough of Crusader Kings II, the Golden Horde finally arrived in 1239. After winning a major battle, I played a game of cat and mouse around Lake Balkhash, trying to make sure my forces had the numerical advantage against any Mongol forces to the south. Batu's own forces fled north rather than south, though, and I was able to drive them further away from the bulk of the Mongol forces. I then got lucky in Tura by capturing Batu in battle, effectively ending the war right then and there. He agreed to peace in exchange for his freedom. Now I can finally get back to conquering Bengal and Rome. Of course, while I was busy keeping an eye out for the Mongols, a few interesting things happened in Europe: the empires of Francia and Britannia were established. Britannia is still relatively weak, but Francia may become a threat in due time; they've gone to war with the Romans in the past--they've lost every time, but that will likely change as my own conquests weaken Rome. Francia will probably become my main enemy once Rome is gone, though I'll also have to keep an eye out for the Aztecs (I've got Sunset Invasion enabled) soon, and then there will be the Timurids in the late 14th Century.

Still playing Ouendan 2 on the downtime, since I suck big time on the final song. I've perfected it previously, but can't seem to do so now.

Mainly playing One Piece: Pirate Warriors, though. Completed most of it, just wanting to get S ranks on it all and get all the coins, skills, etc. All in all, it's a great game. Really fits the series, especially when you play Hard mode vs CP9 and Lucci absolutely dominates you. One tempest kick = 60% life gone. Oh lawd.

Don't even get me started on Kizaru. Guy's seriously the Zelda cartoon Ganon's brother or something. ADHD teleportation all over the place.
