She does not. That's link's bangs and his sideburns longer, but tied together. What, tied together automatically means Zelda now? :ron:

For the love of crap, just because one character('s incarnation) uses them doesn't mean that instantly means whoever uses it now is related to them. That's like saying any girl that now wears a pink bow in her braid is Aerith.

I... kinda agree with Cat about Fem. Link's look. To me, her hair looks like an extension of Link ala Link to the Past...

Spoiler:

...as well as many other Links.

Spoiler:
Image

Really, if you're going by Zelda to justify female Link's side-locks, many of the Links are no slouch either. I'm going to go on a limb here, but being female Link, I'm going to say her hair was inspired by the many Links who had similar hair. The only striking difference I see is her hair is parted in the middle, but I consider that more because she's a girl so it's kept nicer as opposed to Link's rough looking hair.

Next, you're guys are going to say Female Link's hair is blonde so she must be based on Zelda, right? D=

Could be a couple coincidences, but as a wise man once said, "However, two coincidences at the same time seems more like a 'pattern' to me."

Pff, that's about as likely as Cawlin actually liking the ghost hand that gently caresses him at night. Nah, I think it's more like Fem!Link is the child of Skyward Link and Peatrice. At least she showed proper feelings for him as soon as they started until the end of the game.
Also, she's not a manipulative bitch like Skyward Zelda.

I beat Windwaker HD today and I'm seriously going to miss it. Last time I played the game, which wasn't long ago, I rushed through it, so I took my time with this playthrough. I just love discovering new things on each island and finding secrets and stuff I didn't know about. I know that's the same with quite a few Zelda's, but there's something about the large ocean that I find mesmerizing. I suppose I'm like that with all types of water....Perhaps it's why I collect snow globes.

And I had loads of fun with the camera. :redd:

Yeah it's just so thrilling when you pump that speedy sail and just blast across the water with the gulls overhead. I'd just pan the camera around the front so I can see the spray hitting Link's face and just let it run wild!

Also man that final fight was nice!

As for that Dynasty Warrior-Zelda game... to be honest, when I saw screenshots of it, I thought those were simply mods for the Dynasty Warrior game. But it's actually real. Well, it looks kinda cool... but I'll wait to see more of it before I decide whether it's a game worth fighting for.

That violin arrangement of Dark Pit's theme sounds like an anime I've seen before, but I can't quite place it... though your last sentence reminds me of Mulan. X3

Me? I've somewhat liked DW (I have a fresh, unopened copy of 4 in my closet! I also own Empires 5 for the 360), but... I've found it a tad repetitive? Seeing this with new features (like the use of Link's arsenal) excites me a little bit, so I'm all-in. Plus, my WiiU library's been a bit thin, especially ever since I returned ZombiU (couldn't get past the carnival part). Counting my digital copy of Wind Waker HD (which I got for free), I have four games on it.

Was pretty fun. It was like playing the one piece version of it.

Only annoying thing was the controls when using the Wii U tablet. It was hard to control the camera angle because of how the analogs were placed.

Huge Pointy Rock-Hard Goron Man Nipples too.

In any case we knew about that character being somewhat...exposed for a while. Kinda worse when it's paired with her desire to seduce/control/love Link (I dunno I should get the game)?

Still good to see those three got playable, the 'Warriors' series normally makes its more villainous characters playable so it's a big plus in my eyes.
Also that game is out today right? Though Theatrhythm is out tomorrow...nnngh I can't get both...

Well... when Veran is only 8-bit and spends most of her time inhabiting bodies of women who are dressed MUCH more conservatively through 99% of the game, it's easy to forget.

Yeah, I think her being some kind of female mage who was a bit attractive was to serve as an opposite of Onox who was a male, bulky brute covered in armor.

Correct. Like dullahan stated, Veran, the Sorceress of Shadows, is the female antagonist of the Oracle of Ages. She accomplishes a lot of her schemes utilizing her possessing powers, unlike Onox that he takes care of things personally.

But now that you mention it, dullahan, Veran and Onox really are polar opposites. Nice observation there. *proceeds to hand out a cardboard Triforce, but hey, a Triforce is a Triforce....*

Finding that Ruto, Agatha, Girahim, and possibly Ganondorf are unlockable only in the mission mode, which means that they'll never be playable in story mode- which is disappointing (unless you're P2, then you can do whatever you want).

Finding that each character is only good once you find their most broken move (and for their other weapon, if applicable). For link, it's definitely X X X X (HOLD) Y, because that charge is unbeatable. It forces enemies that can defend to do so, and often breaks defenses at the end of the combo. Sheik is just all sorts of levels of broken, even able to change her element to fit literally any stage except maybe Light, and her special attack is AMAZING.

Not finding a lot of use for Darunia. He's quite immobile, and is hard to move around with unless you're using the much-weaker-than-his-combos strong attack wherein he starts rolling: and it's only a slight improvement.

Having trouble understanding the exact nature of Fi's buff technique.

Aw man I loved Darunia, he was so fun and does so much damage, plus his victory dance is amazing. I find his first charge attack is great for single targets as it leaves them airborne with potential to regular combo into whatever you like after. His other charge are all MASSIVE AOE DAMAGE which is great when you wanna mop up mooks.

Though I'll admit Fi's buff technique has me baffled too, perhaps it's simply more damage? Though I'd say most characters I've played are fine even without "most broken moves".

As for grinding, I reckon you'll ease the monotony if you just bust the characters through adventure mode a bit. Still hopefully you'll get some Ganondorf chapters as DLC I'd like.

Yeah, there's always hope for DLC. But there are probably Ganondorf-only missions, but I'd like to see it in the story mode, not just the mission mode.

AOE's are only good with a wide range (like Sheik's special attack) or if the AOE can be moved in this game. Staying static when enemies just tend to sit there make things... problematic. BARELY cleared the Ruto stage, though part of the problem probably was due to being in the low 20's.

I just want to clear the story. I'll do extra stuff afterwords. Though I'm waiting on it for another reason: I'm waiting on my dad to return home. He's my P2 for the game, and it makes things so much easier when I can split the work.

Haha I guess what with being effectively in two places at once, can get difficult to manage I suppose. Though that's always part of the fun and tension for me.

Though I dunno, I found Darunia's AOE's had plenty wide range, could drop fools with them like it was a special attack. Most mooks won't bother you much anyway, they love standing around paralysed in fear and if you aren't focusing on the actual 'health bar' enemies then well it's your folly I guess. They seem to be the only ones capable of posing a threat.
