Maya : not channeling anymore in GS4 ? (SPOILERS GS2 & GS3)

Something just struck me, while I was playing back 2-3 : upon showing Mayoi's profile to Itonoko, a short discussion happened between them, where Mayoi told him she was thinking about totally giving up Channeling. She talks about how dangerous it became to her, and how she is scared that "incidents" like 2-2 could happen again. Of course, we know what happen to her in GS3-5.

So, what do you think ? Mayoi, doing something with zero relation to mystical powers by GS4 ? Until now, we pretty much all assumed she was the Master of Kurain. What if she wasn't ?

The main question is, are we going to see Mayoi at all in the Odoroki arc. Naruhodou could easily be a one-shot appearance. Though what else would she be if Naruhodu gave up being a defense attourney?

Whatever happened in GS2, Maya didn't let it bother her too much in GS3. She went to Hazakurain because she wanted to increase her spiritual power, after all. And the events of GS3-5 would, as far as I see it, only encourage her even more to take up her responsibilities in the village. I can't imagine they would have her doing anything else (given that they've already taken Phoenix out of law).
