Hi! I've made a few things, I'll label what you can use and not use. Well I kind of suck at these but here you go!

Great to see more people taking an interest in spriting. Keep practicing! If you want to move to characters, maybe try some splices to start?

I'll be working on characters soon. I taught myself how to do these so they're not going to be so great... :sadshoe:

but I can try! If I do Characters I need to learn how to animate them though...

I believe it's also known as a Frankensprite, where you take pieces of multiple sprites to make something new.

Id suggest that you use MS Paint as it is the preferred tool to use for sprites, go onto the prites page on the court records website and download some sprite sheets, then experiment.

Once you've made your sprite, and you save it, try uploading it to a website like imgur.com or photobucket.com

then if you want to put it in your thread, when you edit your post, click the "Img" button and paste your images link between the brackets.
