Maybe it's to signify how young and vibrant Ryu is compared to this thin, lanky, and pale man who looks like he's risen from a coffin recently after 5 years of "sleep".
Maybe Takumi thought an older prosecutor would be better after all the increasingly young lawyers that have become like a plague in this series.
Or, maybe Takumi and Kojima were hyped for DMC4 and since they couldn't wait, they had the designers draw up some guy from there instead and slapped him in here.

I think you're onto something, I kinda like the idea of a young and vibrant young attorney squaring off against an older and sort of vampirish prosecutor. Besides our main hero feels like a breath of fresh air, I'm certainly interested in learning more about him.

It feels like way back in Ace Attorney 1 when Phoenix was a total rookie matched up against two seasoned veterans (well, of course Edgeworth was also pretty young). Barock looks like a combination of Edgeworth and Von Karma to me. His age is somewhere inbetween and while he is kinda good looking, he also has a rather rough and evil aura. While I am sure he won't be a complete antagonist, he is most likely not as friendly as Edgeworth in the end.

This probably won't get a localization announcement until they get sales numbers in Japan. I'm probably just gonna watch the dowolf playthrough or hope the game gets ported to iOS, making it easier for a team to do another translation project

Seriously though, the 3D models were fantastic in DD, much better than PLvsAA. But these are even better! Eye movements are important, especially if we consider what kinda game this is. I look forward to see what this game will offer, they usually keep in secret all the shocking events and character development and stories, which I like because that way it'll be much more exciting when it comes out!

Well yeah, it was strange at first. But after a while, they felt more natural and pretty. Some of the movements were great too. But like you said these are more smooth, the movements feel better.
And leaving the sexy prosecutor aside, I like the 6 members of the jury thing. What I'm wondering is... are they gonna be the same for all cases? They shouldn't be, cause they are chosen randomly fo every case. So are we gonna get 6 new for each case? I'm wondering if maybe some of them are relevant to the story, it would be interesting.

That is an interesting point. Although I rather like the idea of doing a PWvPL mass cross-examination type deal with contradicting two jurors with one another.

DD's models still look fantastic, but DGS's outshine them by a mile. They're smooth and crisp. Capcom's team really knows what they're doing now and are using that to their advantage.

We saw 6 different jurors in the extended TGS 2014 trailer. However two of them are now shown as witnesses in the latest famitsu issue, so maybe they were just placeholder models or whatever.

Oooh, ok, it was my mistake. I thought he was speaking about the recent trailer, I forgot they showed different guys in the trailer of TGS xD Then they really change the jury people and some of them take part in the story.

Yeah you could tell right off the bat it was Hanazawa. Pretty much the same voice she did for Akane except less passionate.
