Investigates carefully... Hm, seems the coast is clear. Wonderful, I suppose I'll give a short introduction then:

I'm Netkeeper and I've played and kept up with Ace Attorney since the second game's release in the US. I really adore the series, my personal fave entries being the Layton crossover as I'm a huge Layton fan as well, and I feel the need to mention Apollo Justice as a runner-up since it's sort of cheap to list a crossover as my #1. I'm an artist, roleplayer, and a collector of absolutely worthless collectables. Ask me about my wave 4 amiibo preorders.

Being new here, I have a couple questions, if someone wouldn't mind helping me out:

-Are there wild AAI2 spoilers around here? What about in signatures/avatars? Forum signatures in particular have spoiled me for video games numerous times before, and it was my main reason I was reluctant to join. The spoiler thread only talks about DGS and the Layton crossover.

-There appears to be a roleplay section to post in character, but is there anywhere I can make a thread asking for one on one roleplay over IM or off-site? I'd like someone to roleplay a ship with and was one of my main reasons for joining, since I've had little luck searching elsewhere.

Sorry this was so long, feel free to ask me anything or hit me up for discussions. My IM names are open to all, but I can't post them in public due to previous harassment issues I've had. Hope to enjoy myself here.

AAI2's fan translation has been out long enough that users are allowed to freely post spoilers for the game, so you do risk running into spoilers here. How high that risk is probably depends on what areas of the forum you visit.

As for an offsite RP, it's probably best to assume you'll only be able to recruit players in the Press Conference, as that's the only place where you're allowed to advertise offsite content. Also, since the RP in question wouldn't be on Court Records, the staff can't enforce the rules in your RP, so I feel it would be misleading for the RP to have a thread in the actual RP section.

That's unfortunate... do these rules apply to signatures and avatars as well? I think I can manage to scroll past any text contained within a single forum post, but you made no mention of signatures and avatars.

And speaking of, I assume it's okay to advertise wanting offsite RP in my signature as well? I don't mind making a thread here too, but I notice threads here don't get heavy traffic.

They also apply to signatures and avatars, so there is a chance you will encounter an AAI2 spoiler in someone's signature and/or avatar. That said, I don't recall seeing any AAI2 spoilers in anyone's signature or avatar recently--though it's possible I just haven't been looking in the right places.

Also, yes, you are allowed to advertise an offsite RP in your signature and here in the Press Conference--as long as the RP doesn't involve anything illegal. The Press Conference is auto-pruned, however, so if the thread doesn't get enough activity, it will be automatically deleted.
