Opinion on Pursuit vs Objection Themes

So, I'm not sure if I'm the only one who preferred the Objection theme over Pursuit. I just find Objection to sound original, and just...cool. But Pursuit sounds too similar to the original AA one. Is it just me who thinks this?

I adore them both, and I think Pursuit sounds very original too with its disco beat.

The "Pursuit" theme was supposed to be an Official Arrangement to be released later, but I think they wanted to use the arrangement to reminisce the days when Phoenix Wright used to battle in Courtroom, after all... Apollo Justice is the successor of Phoenix in Gyakuten Saiban 4.

I think all pursuit themes from PW to AJ has a similar feeling to them but they still sound different to me. If anything, I think the ones from the trilogy sound more alike compared to the AJ one.

Is this what you're referring to when you say "Objection theme"? (If so it's technically incorrect since that's not how the song is called, but I guess that's more convenient.) I personally think that's one of the best themes in the entire series.
Though I like the Pursuit theme and I don't think it's particularly similar to the original one, compared to the other Pursuit themes.

The Apollo Justice pursuit theme was actually my favorite before I heard the one from PLvsPW. I just wish it had been used more in the actual game.

A New Chapter of Trials is my favorite theme of any ace attorney OST so far (And that's saying something.), but Overtaken is muy second favorite pursuit theme, only after Cornered ( the first one). The AJ OST is probably the best in the franchise, IMO.

Apollo's Objection/Theme is and always has been my favorite song in all of the AA media.

I also really like the Pursuit theme, although i prefer the original AA's one. I see what you're saying about the actual melody being a little similar, but I think the beat and the whole vibe are much different. AA1's always makes me feel like "I got you now", AA2's makes me feel "I have to turn the sound off or I will break my DS", and AA3's has always felt like "This is the end". AJ's pursuit makes me feel like a real big important fight between the defense and prosecution is about to go down, which is ironic because Apollo and Gavin have probably the least antagonistic attitude between the two of them out of all of the games.

I used to have Sam Waterston as my avatar but photobucket added a watermark and also Law & Order has been cancelled for 10 years so it's time for me to move on.

I've learned to appreciate it. :edgey:
