I'm just gonna throw a random guess for a future DLC Smash character.
I'm thinking they might put something Yokai watch related into Smash, i think it would make sense with how they pretty much adopted that series into their family of franchises.

As for Shantae, I'd like to have her in, but I could care less about having the character in herself. Like with Cloud, I'd just want her in for the music because Jake Kauffman owns.

I think the Midgar stage looks pretty amazing as well but yeah...if we get a sweet remix of FF7 battle music it'll be well worth the price of admission.

)I see King K Rool happening, or Wolf if they need to bring back veterans. Wouldn't say I'm hype for either, but still see them getting in. Don't see Nick getting in, but I still voted for him. Won't be too disappointed if he doesn't get in, since Project X Zone 2 is a thing and has Phoenix in it.
And the vocal minority, yes. Saying things like "The ONLY reason people hate Shantae is because she isn't Ridley, King K. Rool or whatever character they would want above Shantae. If you guys don't want Shantae.... too bad because she's getting in. So see you in Smash with the Half-Genie Hero."
Wouldn't bother me so much if they just voted for their character like other people and didn't try to force their opinions on the rest as if they were spouting the gospel truth, or assume other stuff
Honestly, Shantae (the character) doesn't annoy me at all. Her fanbase does.

But in all seriousness I'd put money on shovel knight for making the roster, seeing as the guy even got his own amibo. The rest is still kept secret pretty well.

I just want them to have characters from a series that isn't in smash already. So dumb, but the other two are fine. Even if I hate Cloud and FF, it was at least not a series repeat.
