Why would it be? If a (natural) swarm is your encounter (first, second, whichever is the one you set as the rule to 'count') in a new route, then you can get one of them. I am watching HeatedMo play X Randomized and he encountered a swarm where each pokémon was different - and one of them was a Giratina!
Well, my Lola (Bunnelby) fainted before I entered Lumiose. Fighting a Pidgey trainer, used Agility, it keeps using Sand Attack, but Lola still kept hitting with Quick Attack. Both at red, THAT'S when Quick Attack misses (for the first time, after using it successfully 3 times in a row) and it Gusts my 3 HP away.
My Bunnelbies tend to not make it to Level 20.
On the other hand, my Theta Emerald Nuzlock LP is doing fine. Exited Slateport and have yet any death happening. (But Brawly is so forgettable)
Also, for Xillia, post-game and I mistook which harbor the Magna Zero guy was in. (They look the same!) Now I'm not sure if I should be able to make it to Level 99 on a new game, but with some EXP enhancing food... that would require major grinding...

I never believe those polls for that topic, no matter what game it is. For all they know, that which they considered the greatest game of all time earlier (say, Ocarina of Time) has been overshadowed by a game they consider better two decades later (Undertale, in this case).
Like, what, did 'ever' or 'all time' cease to exist already?

Yeah its surprising, I would have thought that people who didn't care for OOT but had a fury about undertales success would have counter-rallied behind OOT to make it more even.

Melee got a huge counter-rally in the semis and it still wasn't enough, that probably had a lot to do with it
Honestly I wouldn't call Undertale the best game ever either; it's damn good but there's still others I like better. I'd say it's better than most of the games it went up against, though.

Yes. You unlock Multiplayer, where you can exchange items and sprinkle fairy dust onto other people's farms, around the end of Spring. (22nd or 25, I think) Note: Multiplayer in SoS is REGION LOCKED. So if you know that lots of people are actually using the multiplayer at times when you are, it's worth it.

Soon as you can walk around town (which happens on the 3rd or 4th Training Week day), collect the forage daily. You get your own house on the 7th, but it's dilapitated. Gaiza (I think he's called Gunther in the localized version) will offer to have you upgrade it for free if you bring him 15 Small Material Stone and Small Lumber. Collect the stuff, then you can chop/smash it on the 7th, when you get the Axe and Hammer.
This first, liveable upgrade gives you the closet. (You can change your hair and eyes then whenever you want, ditto clothes once you make them)
Also, you can rename yourself and your farm whenever, so you aren't 'stuck' with a name like in ANB.
Other than that... dunno, I eventually decided on one playthrough to just sleep until Year 4, when everything has unlocked. You want to befriend Eda very fast, she loves simmered potatoes, and view her 'Rival' events. Not necessary, but they are sweet events that bring FP.
Dive in rivers! You can save in the river, then move around until you find something and, if it isn't a gem, reload and try again. (Or a Fish Fossil, they sell for 4.000) Try to save up about 11 to 20 of them by the time Summer rolls around. You unlock Conquests then and you definitely want to grab the Bee/Mushroom field. (Collect Bee critters) It's the only way to grow mushrooms or get honey.
Try to grab the field from whomever and, preferably, pick the option for making the most money in one day. On the day the conquest takes place (say, Summer 11th) sell everything that you can sell to the vendors - hence why you should stock up on gems and such. The amount of money that you need to get to win depends on the amount of vendors. (1 Vendor about 26.000 and 2 Vendors already close to 50.000 - and I noticed that, usually, you end up unlocking the 2nd vendor in the first few days of Summer)
Here's the fogu page that explains better and more detail about conquests. It's overall a good page to check out.
Conquests become a bit easier in Autumn, when you gain access to the Safari Zone, where the 'mine rock' is located.

You can buy fertilizer. And it's pretty cheap.
Oh, first Blueprint you should get from the vendors is the Seed Maker. Collect 5 Bricks from the River (use save-reload if necessary) and keep 5 Turnip Seed Bags. That thing is gonna be a GIANT helper very early on, so even if you used the bags, buy some more before spring and don't use them.
