I doubt many fans actually want that extreme of a character reversion (I can't really speak though because while I love Maya and am excited to see her back she's not my favorite character or anything. Of course, even if she was I'm always willing to have characters change if it means great story and thematic potential so it wouldn't bug me either). I think if they bring Maya back in a meaningful way (heck, they seemed to have written the game's entire premise based on doing that) then fans will be happy even if she's not the Maya they once knew. I think a lot of why people didn't like AJ Phoenix and Ema was that (in keeping with the tone of AJ) they had both been broken and their lives betrayed our expectations in negative ways. (I really like their arcs as I think it makes their characters more complicated but I understand that's not a popular opinion.) I doubt they're going to do anything really radical with Maya; I think they're going to make her highly involved somewhere in the Kurain religion (whether that be in Japanifornia or Kurain Kingdom) and she'll probably help save the day at the end (in fact, I'd love an inversion of her mother's arc where Maya channels a victim and gets it right this time). I think (and hope) that most fans know that to bring her back without any change in personality would be a disservice to the character and her arc in the games they loved so much.
Plus, Pearl is basically Maya now so that character role is filled too.
I used to have Sam Waterston as my avatar but photobucket added a watermark and also Law & Order has been cancelled for 10 years so it's time for me to move on.

It looked way too similar to young pearl, therefore it seemed a bit rushed, if they hadn't just made her taller and added a small lock of hair, then maybe it would have been better. - Introduction, lots of filler chit-chat with the MCs and special guest. Possibly show the TGS trailer again.
- Eshiro and Yamazaki come on, review the info already released.
- Discuss the basics of the game, show off the case two investigation they did at Jump Festa.
- Spend some time talking about the AA6 Twitter campaign, merchandise, etc.
- Things are getting close to wrapping up: boom, Maya.
- As part of the Maya reveal, roll trailer. Release date at the end. Possibly the special guest is announced as her VA.
- "Maya will have a large role in the game. Please look forward to more information in the coming months."
- Demo announced.
- Special editions announced.
- "Ace Attorney 6 will be releasing in AA's 15th anniversary, so we're trying to make a game that surpasses the previous entries. We think fans of the series and newcomers alike will enjoy it."

Some of this might be over-optimistic (if the game isn't releasing soon, I could see the demo announce getting pushed back a while too), but given they technically have two hours slotted in for it this seems reasonable and roughly lines up with AA5 and DGS' big initial marketing pushes.
Also, an ask for y'all: could you go to https://amebafresh.tv/, click one of the live streams, and report back on whether or not it plays for you, as well as what country you're in? We've been getting mixed reports as to if there's a geographical block on the site, which will effect whether or not we need to make a full restream on Cytube or just embed the Ameba Fresh player.

I mostly agree, but I also wouldn't rule it out as a possibility. AFAIK Rio Uchida has no connection to AA thus far, so she's a bit of an odd duck out. It's entirely possible she's just there to promo Ameba Fresh, though.

To double-check: did the video that worked for you say "LIVE", "On Air", or nothing at all? I've noticed I can see recordings of past streams, but live ones give issues.

I know it's at 1pm Japan time, and Australia's 2 hours ahead, so that'd make it 3pm for me, which is in about 1 day's time... (Ok I realise I messed up the maths XD)
Still, I downloaded the app, and tested some streams and by god, even on "high quality" the quality is horrible! (For live streams, once they're over they seem to play in HQ).

If it's not Maya then all the evidence definitely points to it being Mr. Hat. That's who the green Gramarye was all along - a hand-me-down from Zak and Thalassa. Later in the game Lamiroir tells Apollo that Mr. Hat is actually his brother.

I see where you are coming from (and in fact I'd argue that it would be better to NOT show Maya and keep the surprise for the game) but their phrasing of showing off "that" character implies to me that it definitely IS someone we know is coming. If it was a new character or more of a surprise appearance (something crazy like Oldbag or Kristoph or something) then they wouldn't use "that" character as we don't know who "that" character would be - they'd say something along the lines of showing off "a new character" or "a surprise character". It probably isn't a reference to Apollo's reference to "that person" in the trailer because that was a hint towards the new prosecutor (at least we think). In conclusion, I can't think of any other character than Maya that A) is someone we know or believe will likely be present in the game, hence the use of "that character" and B) is enough of a fan-favorite to warrant an announcement devoted to it (sorry Trucy, you're my favorite sidekick but nobody is going to hold a press conference to say you're in the game). So that's my reasoning. I'm fully prepared to be wrong though.
I used to have Sam Waterston as my avatar but photobucket added a watermark and also Law & Order has been cancelled for 10 years so it's time for me to move on.

If they're bringing in guests to this stream, I can expect a demo showing off case 1 or 2. Case 3 info usually would be revealed on the site instead, so I doubt we'll be getting something from that at this time.

Not sure what the issue is with the stream, but if you're in the US, it should work for you. I have no issues with streams on that site.

It is a bit difficult to watch it if you don't have access to a Japanese iTunes or Google Play account (I don't think you can watch it without a smart device?). If you have a way to mirror an iOS/Android device to your computer and then just stream your computer screen it could work? If you need someone to, I have a way to share my iPad's screen and audio to my computer, I just don't know how to share screen with cytube.
