I honestly have no legitimate theory for who Hemlock is (Although I have a guess), but I think I know how Hemlock is tracking Phoenix.

Spoiler:
The fake Magatama. Hemlock sent Renwick out to bug the Magatama, but Renwick decided to help Phoenix out a bit. He replaced the Magatama with a fake one that was bugged, and gave the real one to the Chief of Police. This is why he told the Chief to give it back in secret, so that Hemlock wouldn't know. This would lead Phoenix to tossing out the fake Magatama. I have a few reasons for this.

1. After the Case 3 trial, Hemlock is saying how Renwick "Doesn't have that stupid piece of rock yet". This most likely means that Hemlock sent Renwick to get the Magatama, and possibly bug it.

2. The broken Magatama is still in the Court Record.

3. Hemlock tells Phoenix after trial day 1 "I reckon you'll spot a psyche lock or two." Hemlock is unaware that Phoenix's magatama is actually a fake. He thinks Renwick bugged the real one instead of a fake one.

Was he really the culprit of the crimes? will we know the truth? so we can save him at time and not give him the death execution ?:/ I kinda feel bad for him and want to save him :'( :larry:

--> About vex guilt: I'm now sure that he didn't do it. Just reached the last part where it's avaiable and it's that boogeyman the killer of Docks and probally the other murder that happened in the same day, so my bet and I really hope so is that we will save somehow Vex in a later time, ofc he still have to get that time in jail but not getting the death penalty.
--> About hemlock: I still have no clues about who but I have some guess's like Snow: He is probally acting "dumb" etc but he is actually hemlock, reminds of remnant of past where Fullbright was the ghost assassin or whatever and no1 suspected him etc ;
--> Old teacher: Hum it's still a guess about that stars she is contantly using maybe it's some kind of "tracking" device and she can be everywhere;
--> The police chief: I don't know he is hidding something about it we could see the psyche-locks Since the magnata was there but not in possesion of Wright, so I'm assuming he is either him or working with him

Never the less i'm really looking forward to continue this game, best game so far in fan games, I love conflict of interest aswell but this one is really "blowing" my mind off. Good work so far! :godot:

This isn't much to go on, but I have a guess on who Hemlock is.

In investigation day 2 (It might be day 1, not really sure) we get a piece of paper with "Hemlock" written on it. Everything else is gone, though. No first name, no picture, etc. The point I'm focused on mostly is the picture. Assuming that Hemlock's picture was there before it was shredded, and assuming that Hemlock hasn't had surgery if some sort, then we can assume that the police know what Hemlock looks like (This is why this isn't much to go on, considering both of the could logically have happened). Also, based on the name, we can assume that they know Hemlocks real name as well. Now, who has avoided being seen by everyone but Phoenix, and is known to have changed his name at one point in time?

Terry Greisan.

It makes sense, too. Greisan and Renwick know each other from after DT-2, and Greisan has cover from Phoenix by telling him that he's working against Aculeus. And when Phoenix mentions Greisan's name, no one would know he's talking about James Trent. Also, as former Interpol, he'd be able to supply knowledge to the smuggling ring on whether Interpol has a lead or not.

I actually agree with you're point of view of the game. it makes sense. I've thinked about it but for some reason I don't go thinking terry is the one. It's thanks to Terry that phoenix got some clues about hemlock and aculeus etc. Since hemlock was part of aculeus that's why i'm guessing it isn't, but yeah he knows Renwick since ever, since they even said Renwick had trouble with Interpol in it's past and Terry said he left acuelus, so maybe he is after Renwick or blackmailing him since he got a lot of info about him ? But then we have the notepad about the "play card" aka enigium, he is looking for the enigium so maybe a "old" hemlock and a "new" hemlock is currently active? Idk let's see how it goes :D My body is ready for this.

Greisan could've given that info to make Phoenix trust him. He could know that Phoenix would get involved, and by telling him details he would eventually learn anyway, he gave Nick the impression that he's fighting against Aculeus.

I've been thinking what if Vex isn't Vex? Remember when Phoenix noticed that Vex had a scar under his eye ? He didn't had any scar under his eye but in the forehead. Now who had the scar under eye ? Feenie! No less! What if Aculeus blackmailed Feenie and they somehow exchanged him in prison? What if Feenie was disguised as Vex when he came to visit him later? I don't know this is a long shot guess but still if i'm correct it may be huge o.o like I said huuuge and looong shot this guess of mine. Been thinking this since last 15 minutes. :beef:

EDIT: Ohhhh, you mean Vinnie. Got confused when you said Feenie lol. This could happen, but it'd be difficult to pull off. If it did, then I'd say the chief looks really suspicious, and it could be the reason for the prison transfer and psyche locks.

idk that scar under the eye seems too much "weird" for me, Phoenix even mentioned it, there is something there about that scar that is more important of what we actually think it is to be honest, i still think that way but I can mistaken let's see how it goes :D

That got me a bit intrigued, so I compared Vex (With his hair on his back, so you can see his scar) and Vinnie via paint. The scar matches, the head size and lines kinda match too! However, the skin color and nose are different, and also Vinnie seems to be a little more bulky than Vex, though this things could easily be explained with the amount of time elapsed between cases... and the skin and nose could easily be made with make-up. I also agree that Vinnie seemed like a very important character to just appear in one case. I don't think he's bad, but he's definitely involved somehow. Can't wait to see how this all turns out.

ye ye skin and nose size can be easily "hide" by a mask etc... And Vex and his brother had some "sculture" art like they said in the first case or something. So maybe Vex did a mask and gave to Vinnie so he could be there while backmailed ? Or Vex is somehow "in the secret" group trying to find proofs against Aculeus or Hemlock ? I just don't know that scar is really "pissing" my mind atm man xD

No sorry, it'll be included with the final part once I release it.
I released Turnabout Scapegoat in 4 parts, but I haven't done it since. I'd much rather get the whole of Part 2 done and dusted.

Also kind of an off-topic note, mainly to myself: I take back what I said about imagining Snow's voice to sound like Flynn from Uncharted 2... I'd say he's more like Adam Blampied from WhatCulture Wrestling in terms of voice and personality.

The Ensnared Turnabout seems like a great case so far, but I'm having some minor issues about things I wanted to object to like the time when:

Don't open unless you played the case from beginning til the end.

1. I don't know in which part of Morag's testimony did this happen, but I believe there was a part in which she mentioned Smith carrying a ball(or something) with a gloved hand. I tried to object that there were fingerprints found on the garotte wire, but I couldn't. Please explain why.

2. In Snow's testimony, I tried presenting Smith's profile because in some part in Snow's testimony, I tried to object to the fact that Smith didn't recieve an injury from the struggle. I agree to the fact that a struggle might have happened between these two, but how on Earth did he just manage to walk away with no visible injuries, that I don't know.

Another thing I noticed...

Greisan has Brisbane as a "B" victim. There's also the Garrotte wire as the only evidence for B victims, along with the card pieces that stopped appearing after the 3rd victim. We also know that Hemlock most likely killed Maplethorpe, considering what Vulper said. So I'm gonna take a guess and say that Hemlock killed Blaine Chill, Cedric Maplethorpe, Perry Docks, and attacked Brisbane.

Right after Phoenix finished examining Room 106 the game sent me to the Police Station to talk to Snow, like usual. Right after Phoenix's first sentence finished, I decided to open my evidence list to check something. Right when I clicked the
court Record button the entirety of PyWright closed.


I don't know if this is a problem with PyWright or the game itself... but now I've lost the last hour I was playing this game rip.

EDIT: I can't present evidence to Snow either. It seems as if anything involving the Court Record is crashing the game.
