Dead or Alive - More like TITS OR ALIVE AMIRITE? But seriously : If you want the most overhyped fighting game series after Mortal Kombat, sporting a so-called "deep" counter system (While certain characters can get 50% damage combos off mashing PUNCH, uncounterable as it's a juggle...), look no further. It's why each time Itagaki opens his filthy little perverted mouth, I expect a load of shit coming out.
Mortal Kombat - After failing to deliver for the last... 6 games or so, you'd think they'd call it quits.
Final Fantasy - Because I too, am a mainstream game hater. This gets in here mostly because the fans suck.
Atelier Iris - For taking extremely clichéed characters, plots, and whatever else and calling it original. GUST couldn't develop a good RPG if a good idea bit them up the ass.
Guitar Hero - I DON'T want to put this up there. Really, I don't. Except that Rocks The 80's was the most disappointing product of 2007... to a point where the franchise is dead to me. Here's hoping Rock Band won't be as bad, but with EA publishing it, I have my doubts.
Kingdom Hearts - Tetsuya Nomura, please come out of the closest. I like leather clad young boys as much as the next guy, but enough is fucking enough, your characters suck.

Dragon Quest. i dont see the big damn deal about this game series. the story isnt intresting, charcters suck with a few exceptions. always a non talking hero. bad music. just hate it.

If they release GHIII on PS2, I'll pick it up. Otherwise, screw them and their next-gen whores. RT80s was BEYOND meh. You know, like Mad Max : Beyond the Thunderdome. Except this time, it's beyond meh.

GH3 is coming to 360, Wii, and both PlayStation consoles (2 and 3). RB is only 360/PS3.

Things I hate: Pretty much every sports game. And the Mario Party series has only gotten worse with each successive sequel. At least the first one was good.

The ScoreHero guys LOVED GH3 when they played it, and they're sort of by definition the biggest GH1-2 fans on the planet. So if it meets their expectations, it'll likely meet yours. Having the best tracklist yet certainly doesn't hurt.
And my coworkers who played both at E3 liked GH3 a lot more, Rock Band was too cluttered and complex, GH3 was a lot more accessible, pick-up-and-rock.

actually .hack//g.u. the game came out before the anime and the anime just backs up the actual game itself. you can basically never watch the anime and still understand it. So its not a anime based game, Its just supported by one.

EA Sports games : We get it, you guys have all the licenses and you're not giving them up. Which is why you don't even try to make an entertaining game and rehash the others. In addition to closing down the servers for all 2006 online games as an "incentive" to get the 2007 versions.

Oh yes, yes yes. 1 made it feel like you were on some sort of journey, meeting people and places, trying to find Mickey. The plot was well done, and man I loved Malificent.
With two, all the non-unique levels were re-enacting their movies. I honestly don't know why or what Sora was fighting for in this episode. And the plot... you go do the Intro with Roxas, then you skip ahead to the Castle that Never Was, and you miss, NADA.

I actually didn't really like the first one either. It was boring when you went to levels over movies you've never seen, and some places it was rather... dragged into oblivion. Some of the last bosses were too hard, and some of the levels got too boring for me to play through them.

Megaman : 1-6 were decent. X 1-4 were evolutions of the standard platforming system. Anything that came after that was pure, unadulterated shit. To a point where I'd rather play Megaman Soccer than anything related to .EXE / ZX / Starforce. I'd dare say they should kill off the series now, but since Keiji Inafume is at the head of Capcom, he's not gonna let his baby die, now, will he?
He's probably the only reason I haven't played a Capcom game since PW, and before that, the SF remakes.
