At this point we're just going back and forth, going nowhere. You won't get anywhere constantly dealing 2 damage all the time. I'd recommend coming back when it's just Phoenix vs Apollo, it's inevitable at this point.

Spoiler: I suppose I should do another EDGEY DEATH SCENE.

Grossberg sighed as he shut the filing cabinet on another case. It was late and Marvin was feeling his eyes start to droop in the lamplight of his well-furnished office.

Taking a moment to rest he collapsed into his exceedingly comfortable (and expensive) leather armchair and smiled as he felt the weight leave his feet. His eyes drifted over his mahogany desk and came to a rest on the newspaper from this morning. Marvin's brow furrowed in concern and his moustache bristled as he picked up the paper.

"Another Defence Attorney murdered...dear me. What is the world coming to these days?" he muttered to himself disapprovingly as he examined the paper. A picture of well-known Defence Attorney Aristotle Means beamed back at him from the headline article. Marvin had kept an eye on Means once upon a time, scouting him as a potential employee for his law firm. The boy had been too cantankerous however, ruthless even.

Marvin's eyes drifted across the desk to the company photograph he'd had taken, Mia and Diego stood happily beside one another. "Yes you are a different calibre of lawyer...the right kind for this place." he mused leaning back in his chair to reflect on happier times. As he closed his eyes however he felt a tightening around his neck as the piano wire pulled taught from behind him.

The wire cut into the folds of fat in his neck as Marvin desperately tried to claw at it with his fingers but it was no use. Thinking quickly Marvin kicked off from his desk forcing the chair to roll back into his assailant. With a quiet "oof" Marvin was free. He collapsed forward out of the chair as his assailant let go of the wire. His throat felt like fire and he fumbled for the desk to support him as he staggered to his feet. Hobbling towards the exit Marvin heard his assailant lunge at him. The force of his assailant slammed into him and sent Marvin tumbling into the glass window which shattered under his colossal girth.

And then there was only one left in the office. Panting for breath after the struggle they looked out the window down to the street below where already a crowd was gathering around the body of Marvin Grossberg.

"I'm sorry Grossberg, you are not worthy of any of this. Go and dream of your youth in death." the assailant muttered before turning away from the horrific scene.

Note to Bramimond: since the previous poster took back the 1 HP they gave to Mia, Mia's HP was at 22. As such, I am knocking off 2 HP, leaving the number at 20. I advise looking over previous rule-breaking posts so the effects of any additional unintentional cheating can be remedied.

Phew. Okay, so I went back and corrected the scores. And redbluezero wasn't the only one. I dunno if it was because other people made errors when they copy/pasted. But it all seemed to add up so I hope everything worked out. I just remedied redbluezero's errors by putting only -2HP towards Apollo since that's what they're set on doing, but there was one instance where they knocked out Grossberg, so I just divided up those 2 points. In the end, this is what I got after correcting everything:
