"Well.. that's just what I think. I don't really know much about him myself. If Iota is Daniel and he's 18 years old then he would have been abducted around 2050, so he'd have to have been fostered for 2 years, which I find unlikely considering how he seems to think of his foster mother and the fact that he said his parents died shortly after his birth, if you want to take that as the truth. Still, I'd have a little difficulty getting used to a new mother after my whole family was wiped off the face of the Earth by some assholes." Tetra concludes the last part of her sentence with a scornful tone.

"We also don't know if Zero is a Caulderwood or even if this game has been orchestrated by the Caulderwoods - I meant that I find it unlikely that, even if Iota was abducted and he was Daniel, Zero would have gotten past all the security guards. I'm not a Liddell though, so whaddya know. All speculation right now."

"I mean the book was straight-up family history followed by details of the massacre, it wouldn't have had a description of Daniel's physical appearance. I read up on everything remotely relevant and shelved the thing because there wasn't much new there."

"Your time is up. The votes shall now be tallied." Zero announced, cutting the discussion short. The elevator began to rise, bringing the usual feelings of vertigo, and then...

Jack vanished.

A small jingle can be heard, heralding the announcement of the results and oblivious to what had just happened. This is then followed by the harsh buzzer-like sound that had occurred in the first Lynching Phase, after which the chair Jack had formerly occupied lights up with a powerful surge of electricity. With no-one there, nothing happens.

"Ah, it would appear the case I prepared for came up after all." Zero says. "If you remember, I stated that those who are chosen to receive punishment will indeed be punished, regardless of the circumstances. This means that Jack has indeed been punished, though it may not appear so at first glance. As a result he has no more 'lives' left, and has accordingly been killed off for good."

The statement is met with some shock, but also a general sense of acceptance. With the way things were going, this didn't come as much of a surprise.

"Now begins the second 'act', if you will. You will see that the barcodes on your wrists have reset, counting back up from zero once again. The next set of rooms have been taken up to the next level, you could say, and will require much more effort on your parts to clear. I hope you are prepared."

Three doors open, three sets of requirements to be met. The doors are to the 'north', 'northeast' and 'east' of the elevator. The north door shows two swords clashing, and has a requirement of 'Body: 8' written on it - this has been written below a crossed-out line that originally said 'Body: 12'. The northeast door features a man straining to drag a weight behind him on a rope, with a requirement of 'Spirit: 12'. The east door shows a sphinx in the process of asking a riddle, and requires 'Mind: 12' to enter.

Marley sighed "Looks like Jack got his death wish after all." He said hanging his head slightly before spotting something interesting on the ground and breaking into a grand grin.

"HAHA GET F***ED MARIGOLD! MULTIPLE TIMELINE THEORY IS TRUE!" He cried laughing hysterically as he wiggled his feet as happily as he could. The small tinkle of glass could be head as he nudged the yellow fragments of glass at his feet.

"Back in the first timeline! Ack Yellow Honey ah missed you so much! Ah cud kiss ye!" He cheered looking over at Jacks chair with a realisation. "Guess that's where his body went too...back in the room where ya slit his throat Tetra. Aye we're definitely playing three games here." He chuckled exceedingly pleased with himself.

He paused as he examined the scratched out numbers above the Swords door.

The comment prompts the players around Tetra's seat, Tetra included, to look at the ground. The knife is still lying where she had thrown it previously; it doesn't appear to have moved.
